  • using the DAQmx functions without installation

    Good evening everyone,

    I have a problem of instrumentation related to the DAQmx. I would like to communicate with an instrument using NIDAQmx tasks. I use a system of environment program: visual studio 2003. In the end, I want to produce a dll. This dll, I want to put it on another computer. The question is this. If I want to run the dll by calling, will I OR-DAQ on another computer or software to use the dll?

    When I tried to produce an exe with a VI, I need Labview RunTime to run the exe. If I want to run the dll, I'll be able to use the only dll on the computer, without installation of NIDAQ. Can I use the tasks only with the dll (because I need time for the .exe, should I Run Time also). ?

    I'm sorry, there is not clear. But I'm available for you more explain the problem.

    Best regards.

    Thank you.

    Gautier

    Since you have installed on your computer of LabVIEW, the runtime is not required for the execution of LabVIEW executable files.

    But if you decide to use your executable LabVIEW on another computer, you need to install the LabVIEW Run-Time on that. You can also create an installer that will contain your program components and the clavicles (such as LabVIEW Run-Time and required drivers). Avoid building an installer to download and install the components separately.

    For more information about the installer, you can look in the help of LabVIEW (construction of a Setup (Windows)) or Core 2 training courses.

    If your program uses the driver NOR-488. 2, you need to install on your computer.

    LabVIEW Run-Time installation is required only if your program that contains calls to DLL is an executable of LabVIEW.

    Kind regards

  • Windows Vista will not complete installation on SATA hard drive

    I tried to install Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit on a new desktop computer Acer X 1200 (less than 1 year).  Vista recognizes the drive, format and copy all the files on the disk installation.  Then restarts, is preparing to launch for the first time and get to the part where it says installation finished and hangs there.  The green progress bar does not move and it hangs indefinitely.  The hard drive is SATA and I put a new disc in hard, but exactly the same thing happened.  The motherboard has no IDE port on it and there is no option in the BIOS for the IDE emulation.  At this point I think the motherboard is bad, but I am working also on a laptop HP 1 year with SATA hard drive that does exactly the same thing.  The two systems are pre-installed with Vista Home Premium.  The two systems see the hard drive, but will not complete installation.  I even tried to run the WD Tools Data Lifeguard before installation with no luck at all.  There is no error message or error code, just of hangs and end no installation.  You have any suggestions for this?  Thank you.

    What was my problem I bought the equipment... like motherboard, memory, cpu, and video

    Vista would not be install.would blow on the end of the installation so I tried to put it natively and it worked!

  • Wireless routher to other devices? They will work without setting them up?

    Other wifi will work without setting them up with the router password? They use the Vista operating system on the computer.

    Hi DickSinger,

    If you try to connect anything to this router via wifi, you will need to enter the password of the wireless network. As you do on the Vista computer.

    Normally, you only have to enter the password only once and the unit will remember.

  • How to install Webcam without installation CD?

    Hi, I LOVE to video chat and I have my webcam plugged into my computer. But I can't find the disk for the driver or whatever it is called. Well, in any case, my question is, how to install your camera so that you can video chat and all this WITHOUT a driver installation? Thank you! Chloe<>

    Hi Chloe,.
    You will need to download the driver for the webcam Web site editor. You need to the driver so that the camera work, and if you don't have the original disc, then you just need to download it from the site of the camera support.

    Thank you

    Hello:

    Sometimes, you need to install the sata drivers in order for W7 install correctly.

    See if it works...

    Download the drivers from this link below (first or second file listed - 32 or 64 bit depending on the case).

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx? AGR = Y & ProdId = 2101 & DwnldID = 23060 & keyword = Intel + Rapi...

    Extract (copy) the files on a USB FlashDrive without all records.

    With the flash player and the installation of W7 media connected to the computer, boot from the installation of W7 media.

    After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

    You should now see the storage driver files listed.

    If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.

    Follow the prompts and I hope, will install W7.

    Fortunately, I think that the technical support engineer will not.

    That the Support engineer should have said is "I don't know how to solve this problem without a Windows XP installation CD".    It would be the most accurate.

    You are usually not necessary an installation CD of Windows XP for this common problem.  Given that most of the people do not have, and this common problem is solved all the time, what do you think they do?

    Unfortunately, MS Answers forums does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, so we don't know anything on your system.  This shortfall in crude in the development of MS Answers forums unnecessarily prolongs solving simple problems.

    If your system has a CD/DVD drive, you can make a bootable CD from the Console of the Recovery XP (no XP media required) and undertook to solve your problem.

    Support engineers or the moderators of the Forum, you would be so kind as to post please the instructions to make a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console, when there is no available XP media.

  • Possible to move from XP to new computer without installation CD?

    I have an old computer that I got from a friend who no longer want, but today she has exceeded so that there is not much I could do with it. It has Windows XP installed, and I would like to know if I could move XP without CD installation to a new computer, I built recently. I am currently running Linux on my new PC.

    you will not be able to because that move the hard drive to a totally different system will engage xp anti hacking device.

    you see, during the initial installation of xp, it collects information about all the hardware on this computer and generates a security hash.

    Thereafter, whenever the initialization of xp it collects information about the material and compare it to the hardware hash to ensure gaps little or not with the hardware.

    So basically, if xp is started on this newer computer, the hardware hash that it has stored on the drive will not match the information he gather on the new computer.

    However, if you have the xp installation cd and the product number of matches the OS on the hard drive, then you can do a repair install and create a new hardware hash.

    also, remember that the old xp may not work on computer systems more lately, anyway.  Thus, not only is the hardware hash as a factor for xp, but incompatible material can be as well.

    as a suggestion, you can put the old computer with your new network.

  • Windows Vista reinstall without installation disc (Acer Aspire 6920 G)

    Hello

    I would like to ask for help. About a year ago I bought this laptop with the original Windows Vista validation but key without a Windows Vista installation disc. Now, I would like to reinstall my system.

    I downloaded the file .iso Windows Recovery (of size 120 MB), it burned down and tried to reinstall Windows. I got to the stage where I type the validation key, but always when I typed that key, it appeared that the key is invalid (I checked this certificate stuck on the laptop and it seems to be original).

    Thanks in advance

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11, Acer is normally Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
