I tried to make these updates manually, but they don't always work. I run Windows Vista 32-bit. Despite receiving an error message when installing updates via Windows Update or manually, when I go to the stop, the icon to install the updates always appears next to the stop button. I click to install updates day and then stop, but when I start my computer again the icon is still there, which indicates that they have not installed correctly.
Manually update an error message of "> Code update here< does="" not="" apply,="" or="" is="" blocked="" by="" another="" condition="" on="" your="" computer.''="" is="">When trying to update by using Windows Update, it seems that everything is going as it should (the update is downloaded, it is made a point of restoration etc.) but after they have finished installing, I get an error message in the sense of "updates not installed correctly. An unknown error has occurred. ».This is the first problem I had with the Windows updates. Can anyone help?Thank you very muchNathan. Some people have reported that manually download and install updates succeeded in fact.

These updates are KB2487367, 2656351, KB2468871, KB2533523, KB2600217. I ran the Update troubleshooting tool, but it does indicate any problems. I downloaded these just now and the installation process seems to work normally (no error shown). I checked my history of update and they appear as installed. Any ideas?
I have read the previous post and did the following: went to 'remove program' and deleted the following entries for ".NET Framework" - KB954430 KB973688, Microsoft .NET Framework Client Profile, Microsoft .NET Framework Extended. I then restarted the computer and reinstall .NET Framework in the update section in the Panel and it seemed to install without problem. Initially cited updates have been installed later, and I get not all prompts to install additional updates. So far so good. Appreciate the quick response.

3B. right-click on the file that you saved in # 1 b above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then reboot again.
4. open Internet Explorer (only!) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 & run the difficulty.
5 IMPORTANT - DON'T SKIP THIS STEP! Open Internet Explorer (only!) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 of => [ignore all warnings NOT RECOMMENDED] & run the difficulty in DEFAULT modes and AGGRESSIVE. [1] [2].

[1] reject (close) the "Troubleshooting automated" Fix It pop up that appears when you open the Web page and then run difficulty he 50202 (in DEFAULT and modes then AGGRESSIVE) instead. If needed, you can click the difficulty he 50202 & SAVE the download on your desktop, and then run it manually (by DEFAULT and modes then AGGRESSIVE).[2] full Disclosure: the difficulty operating in AGGRESSIVE mode will remove your update history but not the list of installed updates.
