KDL-60NX720; Launched the browser WEB and TV BRICKS! 4 RED flashes and support does not work

I had this KDL-60NX720 for about 4-5 years, solid as a rock. Rarely used TV Apps, hooked up to Roku and looked at from time to time of movies in 3D from NTS Network Sony TV APPs.

Today, I went on television and launched WEB TV browser, BIG MISTAKE. The State of TV bar off for 5 minutes, so I decided to turn off the TV and went outside. Came back a few hours later and the TV is over BRICKED.

Flashing lights RED (4 times, pauses, repetitions). Turns on for 2 seconds, then turns OFF, can't the factory reset. Same sequence of flashing. Uplift of my entertainment system all unplugged each HDMI cord and followed every possible diagnosis Voodoo that Sony has recommended.

Called and chatted with support. Downloaded the firmware on USB and plugged into the back. Waited 30 minutes. Same question above. Now 4 hours later, my life is in disarray and the TV is dead. Live sports game is on Roku and cannot look at anything. It's the weekend, Sony support just went offline.

Past $ 2500 on this TV. Now I think if Sony will be able to help, or carry this TV from the wall bracket and drive him to the technician that will require more than a new purchase.

Thanks for sending the link to United States service centers. According to my note, I live in the Canada.

And have already looked at service Canada, 3 of the 4 centres centres have some negative reviews on Google. Not sure if Sony addresses the quality of service to their partners as well.

End of the road for another loyal customer of Sony and all of its network and friends/family. Too bad.

    Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

    Select Preferences - network - system - advanced - DNS network - click + symbol - Type 8.8.8.8 - Ok - apply.

    Don't know what else I can give you here. This particular software function doesn't seem to work.

    In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:

    • do not erase browsing history

    Note that compensation "Preferences of Site" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

    You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the profile folder of Firefox that store session data.

    Delete the sessionstore.js file possible sessionstore-# .js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

    Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and groups of tabs open and closed tabs (back) to get lost and you will have to re-create them (take note or bookmarks).

    If you use a software like CCleaner cleaning then check the settings in the Firefox application.

    I have the same problem exactly as described Flashimator don't except this: the problem occurs only when I am logged into the administrator account.  Support seems to work normally in my user account.

    I should add that my HP laptop has an OEM program which seems to be an overlay on the Windows Help.  It is also not available in the administrator account.

    (HP Pavilion dv9260us, Vista Ultimate x 64, Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 @ 2.00 GHz, 2 GB RAM)

    The only solution I've found that works is to

    1 create a new user

    2. move ( NOT copy) all of your files and folders in My Documents,my music, my pictures, and my videos folders of your damageduser profile for the new user profile in place corresponding installs under this new profile.

    3. do not copy or move hidden files or folders that you do not have created and hidden from yourself.

    4. you must also ensure you save settings, emails and contacts (contacts already in the .pst in Outlook file) by using the appropriate method for your e-mail program to allow for the recovery of these in your new profile.

    5. you can export your Favorites RSS (and biscuits)Internet Explorer under your old profile to a file in your new profile, and then import them from your new profile, after that you run Internet Explorer from here.

    6. don't worry about the programs, they are available to all users.

    I hope this can help someone else, who had the same problem I did.

    Help!  One day, when I clicked Start and then click Help and support , nothing's happened.  Is there anything, after that I clicked it that nothing came.  There was no error message nothing.  I tried to back up using windows Explorer, but could not get it to come.  I ran Microsoft Security Essentials scans (I use Security Essentials) and two online programs for viruses and dracovenii.  I don't remember anything that might perhaps explain this.
