Keep front VI school after secondary stop containing VI

Is it possible to keep the image of the façade of a VI in a secondary after discontinuation of the VI containing the secondary?  The default action causes the secondary clear when the VI containing the secondary is stopped but not closed.

Thanks in advance...

Steve

If you want the image of the PC, you can place an image control in the SP, use the Get Image Panel method and push the result in the image control. When the VI will stop the SP will become transparent and you will see the image control.

I guess that, however, what you really want is the PC itself remain in the SP and I believe that the answer is no. My experience has been that the appellant removes MS VI when it stops, if you deleted or not, and a quick test shows that you cannot insert a VI in a PC that is not running. Personally, I never needed MS to have a VI when the appellant stopped.

A workaround you might be able to use is to put the SP in an XControl. XControls run to change time too, so I think it will work, but I have not tried.

    Is it possible from a different drive to boot and then by applying some changes that would stop it. At the time when the computer is unusable, it just starts to "configuration updated 3/3" then restarts.

    Hello

    Try these methods.

    Method 1:

    You have to do a cold start, press and hold power for a few seconds (10).

    Wait a minute or two and turn it back on.

    Make sure that "all the" non-essential devices are disconnected. (USB keys (for example, flash drives) or any other external media like this takes place.).

    If you can, start safe mode.

    Start your computer in safe mode with network.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    NOTE: see 3 from the link above, Advanced options boot (including safe mode).

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Select Mode safe mode with networking.

    Method 2:

    Use the system restore feature:

    (a) click Start, type system restore in the Search box or search programs and filesand then click on the system restore under the programs section.

    (b) on the System Restore page, click Next.

    (c) select a restore point during which you know the operating system works, and then click Next.

    The restore point should be a date that precedes the first time you encountered the problem.

    NOTE: If you use system restore when the computer is in safe mode, you can't undo the restore operation.

    Data loss caveat:

    Be sure to back up data that you want to keep before you begin. This is to ensure that there is no loss of data.

    Method 3:

    Step 1:

    To avoid this problem on Windows Vista, obtain and install update 937287 from the Microsoft Download Center separately from all other updates on Windows Update site. Install the update that applies to your version of Windows Vista so that you are able to install future updates.

    A software update is available for the Windows Vista installation software feature

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/937287/en-us

    The following files are available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:

    Windows Vista x 86 systems

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?amp;displaylang=en&ID=15287

    Windows Vista x 64 systems

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?amp;displaylang=en&ID=23732

    Step 2:

    Save the update to a location on your hard drive, you can find and then install the update from there.

    Download, *Save* and install the update with no security (antivirus/security suite) software installed, disconnect from the Internet, disable the firewall & close all non-essential processes in the Task Manager.

    Disable antivirus programs and firewalls.

    Disable the anti-virus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

    Windows Firewall

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/firewall-frequently-asked-questions

    Note: Make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall after the test programs.

    Caution:
    Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    I also recommend taking off of USB keys (for example, flash drives) or any other external media, as this takes place.

    When the file is downloaded, see these steps.

    (a) right -click on the file and

    (b) select run as administrator from the menu.

  • Toshiba laptop start registry error after manual stop

    original title: Toshiba laptop start registry error after manual stop - HELP!

    Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista.  Yesterday it froze completely upward and I had to manually close (hold the power button until stop you him) twice.  The second time when I tried to restart the came Toshiba screen, then the screen with the little scroll down bar, and then it went black, waited for a while, then flashes a bluescreen with a written up VERY quickly and cycles back to the Toshiba screen.  This time after the scroll bar it gives me white saying the writing system could not restart, and I want to start normally or startup repair. If I restart it through loading files, trying to fix it and said then he wasn't able to fix it and when I look at the details there something on a registry error.

    I really need to solve this problem quickly and desperately want to save all my files if possible because it's our main Mobile family that has all our digital photos on it and they are not saved. (I know, terrible of us).  Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    Charity

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
  • How to keep the video selected after you move the playback cursor
    I use Flash CS5.5
    After selecting a Clip, the properties panel displays its properties. When you move the cursor reading by dragging the mouse, the properties of this Clip are still visible in the properties panel. But as soon as I stop dragging and release the button of the mouse, the properties panel changes - it now shows the properties of the motion tween.
    Is there a method to keep the selected Clip after dragging the playhead and do not pass the selection to the motion tween? That's because after dragging the playback slider I still need the Clip properties, so I need to select again and again after dragging the playhead.
    You forget entirely on the query editor.
    Query Editor window->.
    When you slide on your scenario, this shows you all the key properties and their values as well as real keyframes. This is where you should be inspect and adjust the values.
    It took me a while to return to flash animation and when I started the conversion from the classic Tween system to the new system of motion tween I didn't know that this sign existed. He brings Flash a little closer to After Effects (my favorite animation tool). It's a lot better that the classic tweens, it's safe.
  • Satellite A110-275 restarts after a stop on the current
    Hello
    After installing xp sp3 if I stop my laptop while on external power, it seems to stop and power off of the fine - then 5 seconds later, it restarts?
    If I turn off the external power (or pull the power cable on) if the machine is running on its battery - then stop - everything works fine. I have checked the event logs and see no error which would cause a reboot on shutdown. I disabled the reboot on system error switch and I turned off the wake of the bios on the options.
    I also looked in Device Manager and off anything that could wake the machine after his stop (only found the modem). I am at a loss - I don't see why external power would cause the works to restart but battery very well. Finally its possible this safe mode can also not working after installed sp3.
    If anyone has any ideas - I'd appreciate really them. It looks like there may be a newer bios available (I'm on V1.2) but I've seen a few posts cautioned against an updated bios windows at level - once again any info - very very welcome.
    System information:
    Toshiba Satellite - A110-275
    Windows XP pro - sp3
    > After installing xp sp3 so I stop my laptop while on external power, it seems to stop and power off of the fine - then 5 seconds later, it restarts?
    Have you noticed this problem before installing SP3?
    Its strange noises that this occurs only when the laptop is connected to the power adapter
    I searched in the forum for similar issues and in many cases enabled Wake up on LAN would cause a reboot.
    I know, you have this disabled in BIOS, but you should also check the LAN card properties in Device Manager.
    You will find an Advanced tab can disable this option too!
    Satellite A110-275 belongs to the series of PSAB0E.
    There is a new BIOS for PSAB0E series.
    BIOS v2.0 is OS independent. Means that he s created for Win XP and other OS.
    V5.40 BIOS is only for Vista OS.
    If you are using Win XP, then you should take the independent BIOS of the OS!
  • Satellite Pro P300 turns on automatically after 3-4 minutes after the stop
    We have a problem with the new laptop Pro P300 series (P5PC5E). It's not OFF after his stop. Laptop turns on automatically after 3-4 minutes after his stop.
    This occurs when LAN (RJ-45) is connected to the laptop.
    -We have disabled "Wake on LAN" from BIOS and tried to disable some other Wake on the options, but nothing made.
    -In addition, we tried to use the laptop on the other room in another cable RJ45. Is not helped either.
    -Laptop is new and there has been nothing, except installed Vista for installation at the factory at the end and install F-Secure.
    -After that, F-Secure has also removed with the uninstall tool.
    Now... what someone has idea how to solve this problem or shoud simply return laptop to Toshiba for repair?
    Don t think you need to call the ASP for the repair.
    Just a question; did you check if the laptop wakes up automatically if the LAN cable is NOT connected?
    Please check this box.
    If the laptop won't wakeup automatically after that the LAN cable has been disconnected, then everything is ok with your laptop and I don't suppose some settings need to be changed.
    In the BIOS please disable:
    Wake on keyboard
    Wake-up on LAN
    -Battery clock criticism
    You should also go to Device Manager-> network controllers-> Lan card-> properties-> Advanced tab.
    There, you might disable wake-up settings to.
    Check it out dude!
  • Windows want to HP 7 freezes picture windows at startup after a stop
    Hello stevecnm,
    Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.
    I understand that your computer hangs at the Windows startup screen when it starts after a stop, and I guess you mean it starts after a repair system no recovery.
    If I am incorrect and it is the recovery of the system, then the problem you describe seems to be a physical problem and I think it would be better if you contact HP Support for service options.
    If however it is the repair of the system, I would recommend that you follow the steps I outlined below:
    Step 1. Click Start
    Step 2. Click on all programs
    Step 3. Click on accessories
    Step 4. Right click on command prompt
    Step 5. Click on run as administrator
    Step 6. Type "sfc/scannow".
    Step 7. When the scan is finished restart your computer
    If the problem is resolved, we are done.
    If the problem is not resolved, then I recommend that you look at and follow the HP Support document: backup of files (Windows 7), which will guide you through to ensure your personal files are stored. Once your personal files are backed up correctly I suggest review you and follow the HP Support document: performing a recovery of HP (Windows 7) system, that will repair your computer back to factory settings.
    If this does not solve your problem then I think it would be better if you contact HP Support for service options.
    I want to thank you for display on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
  • In a new folder on a Snap Server 2200 it freezes and keeps making new records to the stop
    Hey all,.
    We have a snap Server 2200 on our domain network. I have a user that is running a windows 7 pro 32 bit machine that when she tries to create a new folder of the machine freezes and keeps creating new folders until you stop the task in Task Manager. I tried to do it from a few machines and seem to have problems only on some of them. I noticed that some of our XP machines have the same problems. I have never really came across a problem like this so don't know where to start. I restarted the server and the same thing happens again. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you
