Keep installation of updates KB2656351 and KB2487367

Win XP. NetFramework 2.0 Service Pack. NetFramework 3.0 Service Pack 2. NetFramework 3.5 SPI. NetFramework 4 Client Profile. NetFramework expanded 4.
KB2656351 and KB2487367 - updates both updated several times and so did during these last months.
According to the Microsoft Update site, in ' review your update history, he said: the two files were, indeed, properly installed, but if I update over there, or through "automatic updates", the same two files install repeatedly.»
I can't help but feel that because I'm not able to go beyond these two files, I get no other, more recent updates, someone suggested to me could well be the cause of my internet speed more and more slow.
The link to the .NET FRAMEWORK 4 installation of fails with the error "failed generic Trust ' 0x800b010e was not at all helpful.
I missed one. NetFramework file, or is there actually a problem that is not adequately covered?

This problem is related to the MSI registration information inconsistancies.  I was able to fix by using a cmd "msiexec /i {C09FB3CD-3D0C-3F2D-899A-6A1D67F2073F} ADDLOCAL = ALL/l * v % temp%\repairLog.txt.  At the end of this process, the two installed normally KB and I have now no critical updates in the meantime.  I noticed that article 917964 described a situation where IE would not work if the repairs were made the xp without removal of IE8 or IE 7 first.  My IE 8 works fine.  By 917964, "before you perform a repair of Windows XP installation, you must uninstall Windows Internet Explorer 7 or Windows Internet Explorer 8 of the Windows XP computer.". If you perform a repair of Windows XP installation, when a later version of Internet Explorer is still installed, Internet Explorer does not once the repair is complete. »

  • 910219. how to download and keep the Windows Update files?

    Hello

What is the ideal way to update Windows? now, Windows downloads the selected updates. where? I do not know! and after their installation, it removes the packages for installation on my computer. This causes the downloaded updates are lost, and I can't use them to similar machines that need to install the same updates. for these machines, I have to download updates again! This causes my internet to be charged again while it is not really necessary.

the ideal way, in my view, is that I can specify a folder for the Windows Update service. It can use a default folder for that also. After selecting the updates, I want to install in my system, it checks to see if the update is already existing in the folder. only if NOT it downloads. then after downloading it maintains the package in the same folder after installing. installation should be done automatically as it is done now. Then I can move the folder to another machine. in the second machine, I also choose the update I want to be installed which are mostly the same as the first machine. for example, Windows Update only consumes my internet traffic for updates that are not yet downloaded. I wonder why Windows Update doesn't currently work the same way?

by this method, I can at least use the consumption of traffic and I can access the latest updates with the easier and faster way. I I would like to choose a memory flash for this purpose and keep the folder inside.

is there a way to achieve this?

    Hi Gary,.

    ·         Have you checked if there is updates failed?

Check to see if the following is useful.

Step 1: search for the installation error code.

To do this, follow these steps:

    a. click Start, click all programsand then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.

    b. on the Windows Update Web site or on the Microsoft Update Web site, click view update history. A window opens that displays the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.

    (c) in the State of this window column, find the update failed to install and then click on the red X. A new window opens that displays the installation error code.

    d. Note the error number. You will have to type or paste the error number in a search box to the next step.

  • updates KB3045999 and kb3046269 keep installed successfully

Windows 7 Home premium sp 1, 64-bit version. After last Tuesday (14/03/2015), updates KB3045999 and KB3046269 keeps the installation successfully, but every day I ask myself to install again. Several others on the same day impossible installation - KB2446710, KB2478662 and KB2990214. I tried several times to install those failed too.

I see that KB2990214 is supposed to be part of a preview of a later version of Windows, and asked whether you have previously visited their site (I never have), but I continue to be offered. KB2446710 and KB2478662 look a few years old, so I am confused, why I want to come now.

Looking at the history of update, he passed everything except that KB2990214 was the first to fail on the 15/04/2015, then there was very successful installs, then KB2990214 has not once again and I entered the situation described at the beginning.

At any given time helped KB947821 Hotfix (update had ceased to do anything about it either - cannot remember the details now) but it does not solve the above problem.

I made no changes to the system in recent weeks. I tried all of the utilities listed troubleshooting I found in aid of MS which did not find any problem.  I have not tried any registration (which is beyond me).
