  We rename several sAMAccountName in Active Directory (AD) of, for example, jsmith to john.smith.

  When testing some of these stars to change manually in AD, it resembles the following sequence that happens. Suppose that the LDAP synchronization is set in CUCM happen every night at 01:00:

  Thur Feb 5-16:00 - change the user jsmith to john.smith AD name

  Fri Feb 6-01:00-synchronization automatic LDAP in CUCM (user account jsmith marked as inactive in CUCM)
  Fri Feb 6-03:15-process of garbage collection (jsmith not deleted - need to wait at least 24 hours)

  Sat Feb 7-01:00-synchronization automatic LDAP in CUCM (still considered Inactive CUCM jsmith user account)
  Sat Feb 7-03:15-(deleted jsmith) garbage collection process

  Sun Feb 8-01:00 - synchronized until CUCM john.smith. Need to associate all devices phone once again, etc.

  So, it's basically a new user account that does not synchronize until the old username is removed from CUCM.

  From what I read in SRND 9.0, it behaves as expected. However, the point of pain here is that these users have to wait 2-3 days to reconnect to Jabber.

  Is there a way to get around this or am I missing something here?

  Although I have not tried, but you can try to convert a local user jsmith, john.smith user ID change and force a sync LDAP-> LDAP synchronization system.

  Hi all

  I have hardware DAQ-SMU-6361 and SMU-8360 controller in an express chassis SMU-1071. My 6361 maximum sampling frequency is 2 MECH. / s. But I want to use my daq with higher sampling rates. After going through the various positions, I decided for two options to increase my sampling rate. You must connect a 5 MHz signal generator to use as an external clock. Another is to use the timer to synchronize PXI Chassis

  My question is

  (1) what is the limit to the frequency that we can use as external clock for data acquisition? Which parameter is limiting the performance of the ADC, if we use the higher clock frequency signal?

  (2) I also learned about an option called 'base time in PXI Express chassis'. can I use this option? Someone please give me a link to a good tutorial on the basis of time in a single PXI Express chassis?

  (3) SMU-1071 chasis, 100 MHz differential clock. Is it possible to use it as a clock to my DAQ 6361 signal?

  HI Vaidhin,

  The article mentions the background basket clock as a possible means for synchronization, but this is accomplished using it as a phase reference clock - align the oscillators on board your hardware DAQ which are then distributed down to produce the sample clock.  You may not use background basket clock or time base on board directly as a sample clock (on the one hand, these signals is much too fast).

  Measuring 1 MHz with a DAQ hardware 2 MHz could not give you what you expect.  You will get 2 points per period of your entry - it's just at the limit to avoid aliasing of your signal and of course do not a good characterization of the shape of your signal.  You might be able to push the card in slightly beyond 2 MHz but not significantly enough to make a huge difference.  You are right that if you have sounds at higher frequencies could be an alias down in your signal.  Any noise above ~1.7 MHz will begin to be eased by a bandwidth limited the 6163 (there is a chart in the specifications , showing the bandwidth).  If you have between 1 MHz (signal) and ~1.7 MHz noise, you might look into an external filter, but again you are always sampling very slowly to be able to characterize the shape of the signal.

  The next steps to the top (in terms of sampling frequency) would be as follows:

  4 MHz: SMU-6124

  10 MHz: PXI-6115

  There are currently no products that use the same DAQmx driver who can enjoy beyond 10 MHz, but NEITHER there also a range of scanners that you may enjoy a lot faster.  If you are interested in sampling up to 100 MHz, you may consider looking in the SMU-5122- there are also faster scanners available, but these are probably not necessary for your application.

  In your previous post you said you use Outlook. You are using Windows Mail or Outlook on the computer? I don't think the Desktop Manager can synchronize with Windows Calendar.

  I'm encountring a strange problem. I use my 6556 HSDIO to generate some model using and external clock (around 20 MHz and 50 ohms impedance). This clock is provided by an MCU and the entire application does not work well. However, when I tried to cool the MCU (up to-10 °) the HSDIO loses the lock and tries to re - lock again (the Red turned led active). When this happens, I can see a new phase shift between the data generated and the external clock, within the scope that is fatal for my application. L ' other, I inspected the data generated looking for a glitch or gigue appearing at low temperatures... Notice anything special... I tried to heat the MCU upward at 100 °, HSDIO does not lock...

  What can I do? 6556 HSDIO is apparently too sensitive...

  Hi Mar1,

  Datasheet public for the chip used in the States of SMU - overclocking 6556 a typical tolerance of jitter of 20 000 ppm, with minimum of 5,000 ppm. For a 20 MHz clock, this corresponds to 1 ns of jitter typical and 250 ps in the worst case. That being said, we cannot guarantee the specifications that are not included in the specifications NEITHER SMU-6555/6556 document because it is not updated with the production trial.

  I have a (old) TOSHIBA Satellite A300-19 q bought in 2008. I wanted to do a clean install of Windows 7 by reformatting my HD. The problem is that my internal DVD drive no longer works. So I tried to boot from the Windows 7 DVD installation with an external USB drive.
  Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to boot from USB devices in my BIOS options.
  My BIOS is up to date (version 4.20) from Toshiba Web site.

  So I was wondering, does anyone know if the A300-19 q can boot from USB devices?

  Most people would say that if it worked, say, a couple of days and you can't even start on your LCD screen, then the screen or its cable or mobo circuit feeding the LCD failed.

  I had this on another laptop too, and Toshiba are not something so special that this kind of thing is not generally a valid diagnosis.

  Unfortunately, what you want to do is not possible.  The system should be launched before the second monitor is enabled (and you can't have the main monitor an external monitor on a laptop).  If you want to see what you do with stains where the disk hard operating system is not in use, you have no other choice than to repair your laptop screen (it does not cost much more and if you get only one monitor (and not the entire upper eyelid) you can replace exactly that and it shouldn't cost as much as a whole new lid (assuming it's the monitor that is the problem and not) (not something in the lid) anywhere near).  I did myself on my Dell and it wasn't easy by any means and I had to use tiny tools, I had not used in years (and if ever I need to do it again, I could just let a technician computer repair or Dell even myself worth) - but it can be done.

  There is no way to say BIOS (or something else) to use the external monitor as primary monitor - the controls are not there, and even if they were, the connections would be not activated by the system (and you cannot do it from the BiOS unless / until the system works).  You might be able to do the main monitor once the system is working, but not until then.  I appreciate your computer experience and a willingness to try something dangerous or risky, but it is not a question of who - it is just possible iisn can't with any Windows OS I know and probably other software of OS as well (and I'm not sure I would even suggest something dangerous - perhaps risky - even if I knew it would work because I'm tryng to help solve the problems and not cause) new or worse those).

  I would just bite the bullet and contact HP and get the laptopr fixed or at least get the part and try to do it yourself (a bit risky, difficult, time consuming and who need very small tools to accomplish if this can be done on a HP as it did on my Dell - you need HP technical support or parts if it is possible and that the difference in cost to ensure that it is possible) and useful effort).

  I'm sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's like that.

• How to make a video in Labview that synchronize with the case data?

  I do a program which displays the case data from a satellite to different positions. (For example, to position more near the Sun, the temperature data are higher...)

  To make the most interesting façade, I add in a video of a satellite in orbit around the Earth. The video must synchronize with the data that I show.

  My satellite orbital time is 90 minutes = 5400 seconds. If I use the method of control of ring photo, I have to import 5820 photo frames in the control of ring image. My understanding is that every time that the user can import an image (correct me if I'm wrong). That would mean that I have to import the photos in 5400 times.

  Is there another way to do this? I don't want to waste my time on the import of so many images.

  If it's a video you have, I would have a look at the incorporation of some sort of video player in the façade through ActiveX. It is not something I've ever tried, but it should be possible and will save you having to generate 5000 + images!

  If you can embed a video player and can be driven through ActiveX, then you should be able to do what you want!
