  I have improved my Torch (9800) a week ago and have been noticiing battery drain issues.  The problem is NOT persistent, but is most of the time that goes well.  I am currently on OS v6.0 bundle 3049 (v6.0.0.706, Devils 6.6.0.246).  My Wifi and Bluetooth are always TURNED off.  Only by using the Bell network, for which I have all 5 bars available.

  I investigated further and found that the Blackberry system software was running with more than the processor - usually in the 1970s high, 90 same high.  And this corresponded over the hours until the battery was dead.  I have since deleted all the apps I have suspecpected - such as the Office of Nice and LinkedIn.  But the problem persists.

  Battery pull was made several times, as I checked and there is no update of the OS.

  Now, currently, only the Basic apps are loaded (Alt-Back): home, BBM, phone, Messages, Borwser.  All other applications are closed or exit.

  Further study in the modules of the system software of BB, I found that the net_rim_io_impl, is her consuming ALL the CPU.  I don't know where/what this module does - so I'm not clear on this service within the BB I can disable (OFF) to get rid of the issue.

  I upgraded my os 9380 7 for os 7.1 curve (I downloaded this India BB site). But after the upgrade, I see the lack of app passwor Keeper. I have some of my important passwords it stored. Can anyone answer if there a way to get the password keeper app back in my camera (I tried unistalling and reinstall the OS 7.1 and also a battery pull).

  Password keeper is an Application which comes with OS, as you said you had upgraded your operating system 7 7.1 but can you confirm while updating your software device using BlackBerry desktop software in the list of the device application selection you have checked or marked Password Keeper. If not you should try again. And make sure that it marked in the list of applications that you install on your device during the upgrade.

  I have installed my software on my curve. And now my personal ringtones that I bought and downloaded do not sound as sings it is. The names of the song ringtone is there, but it sounds like pre-installed ringtones? Who is?

Attempts to open an account produce errors indicating that the password is not recognized by Gmail, even though it was working before the upgrade. I deleted the account and tried to add the account back, but once more getting errors indicating that the password was not accepted by Gmail (several attempts). I can access Gmail via Firefox. Review of 2 floors of Gmail is not active.

  So, what has changed with the handling of the s 31.1.1' of passwords Version?

  The third time I tried to add the account in Thunderbird, it worked. I guess why this account was in trouble and my Gmail account continued to work after the upgrade will continue to be a mystery.

  I need to reinstall the version 6.0. I made the mistake of downloading on my Torch 9800 and something went wrong since now my contacts do not sync via the server of my company.   I use the blackberry curve 8520... I have used it for almost a year already. I noticed, there are few things missing and some problems occurred when I upgraded to version 5. For example. Notebook, no column as an option for alarm signals, my BB get slower while browsing, whenever I try to connect to WiFi, it will be intermittent or not connected.

  Impossible to connect to the wifi, I suspected it's browser, but then I updated this default setting is always the same.

This is so the case... a friend gave me a Blackberry Curve 9300 to use (cause it not to use) cause my old phone went kaput. in any case, I turned it on and I see a written screen KOODOO mobile (a telephone to the Canada company) and then immediately a screen saying "DEVICE is locked". When I choose to open it says "Enter password" and I can't get past this screen for something else. My friend doesn't remember the password. He had introduced FIDO sim card so I'm thinking that the phone is unlocked... I have a FIDO sim card also. Can someone help me understand this? What I have to go to the KOODOO store and ask them to unlock or to anyone who makes the unlocking the phones? Or can someone here help me? Thank you

  BBs are very secure - only the password created by the user can unlock the BB. There is no password 'master' or 'ignore' to do so... only the password created by the user can do.

  But, you can maybe in luck still... refer:

  No not the password the maximum time will initiate a WIPE on the device, which is part of these important instructions. But other measures in these instructions are also important to... by the seller and the buyer. Not well fill ALL risks instructions making the BB not fully usable by the buyer (you).
