Kernel-EventTracing for Windows 10 ideapad Y700

During the system startup, there is a black screen with cursor in the middle and I have to wait a few minutes for windows to come and ask for the password. It happened to me several times and everytime I look at the event viewer, it indicates that the source is kernel-event tracking with Event Id 3 and 'session' as the task category. It is said ""the session stopped because of the following error: 0xC0000188 ".

My laptop is new, and very often this error! (I have upated at 10 Windows once I received my laptop)

I solved the problem by selecting the option "circular logging".

  • Where can I retrieve my key Activation OEM for Windows 8 Pro?

    Hello

    So I decided to solve the annoying problem of partition SSD in my Yoga Ideapad 13 by to pick up a Windows 8 ISO and install it via USB. Unfortunately, I can't find an activation code. Obviously, my computer came with a factory, but once I did a clean wipe of the drive, all of this has been lost. Lenovo has a way to retrieve an activation code to users?

    Thomas

    You shouldn't have an activation code. If you install a simple Windows 8 OS (not Windows 8 Pro), then in the BIOS activation code should be adopted automatically during installation. The key isn't vald for Windows 8 Pro, so if you want to install, then just buy it at Microsoft. Note that it is technically unnecessary to buy a full Windows 8 Pro key, key to upgrade should work just as well if you're ready to do a simple search on Google for a workaround which takes a minute of your time plus a reboot your laptop to achieve more.

  • Someone at - it smart enough to: «host process for Windows Services has stopped working...» » ?

    I have spent a week on this problem, looking all over the internet and doubt that someone knows enough to solve this problem. I've been a software engineer for 30 years and never worked on an operating system such as buggy windows Vista (or windows)

    I got TWO errors. They may be related.

    = The first is with Windows Update

    -If you know, I tried:

    At ran windows BITS difficulty
    ran sfc/scannow (it found and fixed some iexplorer 8 _)
    has ran defrag and
    has ran chkdsk
    drivers replaced with the latest news from Toshiba
    has run hardware diagnostics - no problem

    I tried with and without firewalls and AV running.
    I don't run AVG control and malware - no problem

    Windows Update always fails.

    Machine: Vista 32 Home Premium SP2 on a Toshiba Qosmio computer laptop X 305-Q705 4 Gig Duo P7350 Intel with nvidia

    Otherwise, Windows works fine. Net access is fine using Mozilla. Even correctly downloaded files. BUT

    I get this error: windows update does NOT. It gives an error "failed", whose code is:

    0X80072EFE-2147012866 ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_ABORTED

    Also, sometimes strange, windows displays an error dialog box:

    "Host process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed"

    Hey Joe,

    I see that you have updated your drivers.

    Have you updated your chipset for this PC drivers?

    Are you overclocking PC or running a RAID configuration?

    I suggest to remove all external devices during the diagnostic process, except the keyboard, mouse and monitor.

    If you think this error is with IE, you can try running it without Add - ons.

    Alternatively, you can try to reset the Internet Explorer settings.

    Here is some information on this process:

  • Not the DHCP server from Microsoft for Windows 7 support dhcp/tftp bootfile name based on vendor-class-identifier.

    Original title: dhcp/tftp boot file name based on vendor-class-identifier.

    I'm trying to start a Texas Instruments AM335x Evaluation Committee using the Windows 7 USB RNDIS driver.

    AM335x is an ARM Cortex-A8 microprocessor.

    I need a DHCP/BOOTP/TFTP server which is able to select the startup file to send via TFTP, based on the identifier of the provider class.

    I have this working on the host Linux-Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. 'dhcpd' is the DHCP server.  dhcpd is able to select the image file

    based on the received BOOTP message.  For this ARM system, it serves a sequence of image files: submarine - spl.bin (secondary program loader)

    then u - boot.img (bootloader) and finally uImage (Linux kernel).  The dhcpd.conf configuration file contains the following code:

    If substring (option vendor-class-identify, 0, 10) = "AM335x ROM"

    {

    file name "u-boot - spl.bin";

    }

    elsif substring (option vendor-class-identify, 0, 17) = 'AM335x submarine SPL.

    {

    file name "u - boot.img".

    }

    on the other

    {

    file name "uImage";

    }

    Thus, the dhcpd Linux BOOTP server is able to select the correct to send from the Linux host via TFTP image file.

    based on the content of the message BOOTP ('ROM AM335x', "AM335x submarine SPL" or neither of those two.)

    Y at - it for Windows 7 Microsoft DHCP server that has this capability?

    If this isn't the case, you know a server program DHCP/BOOTP/TFTP for Windows 7 that has this capability?

    Could do you using netsh?

    Thank you for your attention,

    Michael Tadyshak

  • Where can I find help for games of "MS Entertainment Pack for WIndows (1990). I can't seem to use them on Windows 7, but it can be used on Windows Vista?

    I have been using the following games; Taipei (Majongg tiles), Tetris, Golf (cards) and cruel (maps), which came with MS Entertainment Pack for Windows (1990) and who has worked with every version of MS Windows since 95 Windodws. I can use them with Windows Vista but I can't use them on Windows 7, I really enjoy these games and like to use them in Windows 7 and 8.

    "All Microsoft Entertainment Pack games work on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, but this only applies to 32-bit versions. The NTVDM allows 16-bit applications run in 32-bit versions of Windows. In the 64-bit versions of these operating systems are 32-bit applications be run in a compatibility layer in the kernel and layer 16 bit must be rewraped, this is why Microsoft has removed the feature. "(from Wikipedia)

    It's true. I tested the games ("Best of Windows Entertainment Pack", similar to the MEP even older) on 32-bit Windows 7, no problem. On Windows 7, 64 bit, they don't work (except if try you heavy workaround solutions like running Windows 3.1 on an emulator of BACK, then using this virtual operating system to run games).

  • Windows 8 Pro X 64 for Windows x 64 pro 8.1 update

    I'm a little confused, but I think that the answer that was given to me by an MS Technician.

    I have improved my parts of it to install windows 8 pro from scratch.

    In a bulk of 4 days, I had to call to activate windows about 5 times.

    I would like to activate, and then next day window will say windows must be enabled.

    Had to reinstall windows 8 pro several times.

    Here's the problem, I understand that I can not update my copy of windows 8.0 pro for windows 8.1 pro free.

    The free update to windows pro 8.1 was a special promotion offered during a short period of the last year?

    Just like the Windows Media center free offer?

    If this is true (which I think it is) then why when I started my computer this morning was there a message that says I have a free windows 8.1 in the MS store in waiting for download?   He said windows 8.1 not windows pro 8.1 to be precise.

    And, Yes, when I checked the MS store there was windows 8.1 day about 3.64 GB in size.

    So what is the answer to this problem.  Should I update to windows 8.1 and facing problems of activation or not?

    All users of Windows 8 have right to 8.1 Windows Update. There are different editions of Windows 8:

    Windows RT - right of Windows RT 8.1

    Windows kernel Windows 8.1 - 8 right

    Windows 8 Pro - right of Windows Pro 8.1

    Windows Enterprise 8 - the right of the company of Windows 8.1 (cannot be downloaded to Volume License Service center.

    As long as your current Windows 8 Pro is activated, you are entitled to the free Windows 8.1 Pro update through the store. There is no need to worry other activations.

  • activation key for Windows 8

    I need to activate windows 8 for a DVD duplicated.

    Hello, shubhamdutt!

    Microsoft doesn't sell individual keys for Windows 8. You buy the disc and everything. When you buy one of them, however, the majority of the price tag is the activation key. It is available on the Microsoft Store here:

    Windows 8 Core:

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/PDP/ProductID.264951000

    Windows 8 Pro:

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/PDP/ProductID.257987100

    Windows Pro Pack 8:

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/PDP/ProductID.255571800

    You can ask:

    What is Windows 8 Pro Pack?

    Windows 8 Pro Pack is an add-on of $99 for Windows 8 Core that moves you up to Windows 8 Pro with Media Center. You must run Windows 8 Core to use this upgrade pack.

    What is the kernel of Windows 8?

    Windows 8 Core is advertised as Windows 8, but some media sources refer to him a Windows 8 Core.
