KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE & Windows 7 Home Premium & Windows 10
Tried twice on August 11, 2015 updates Windows 7 Edition Family Premium for Windows 10. I have Dell Desktop Inspiron with 1 terabyte of memory. At the end of the download, got the blue screen "KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE". OxC1900101-Ox30018 and then the reliability check Ox80240020 and verbage "installation failed in phase FIRST_BOOT with an error during SYSPREP operation.» I saw these codes addressed in previous problem messages or responses. I read where I could try temporarily uninstall MalwareBytes & also Windows Essentials, and I did after the second failure. Haven't tried a third time to date. All the patches?
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I've been backing up my computer with Windows 7 Home Premium on an external hard drive. I've been using manual backup when I plug the external hard drive. I tried looking for the folder of Firefox but can't seem to find it. He recorded with all of the other files and folders, and if so how do I enter it?
Your Firefox profile would have the data. You can find it at:
- C:\Users\ < Windows user/login name > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ < profile folder >
- The file you want is called places.sqlite
You can copy this file if you want to restore your bookmarks to your current Firefox back to C:\Users\ < Windows user/login name > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ < profile folder > and overwrite the current file. Keep in mind, this will delete your current bookmarks.
- C:\Users\ < Windows user/login name > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ < profile folder >

I formatted the local disc (C, and I installed Windows 7 Home Premium again...)
But I have no internet.
I need this driver:

Processor: Intel (r) Core i3 - 2330 M CPU @ 2.20GH 2.20 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
I tried to search for drivers and not found
Save this link on the W7 x 64 drivers for your laptop.
The drivers you need are:
1 first install it and restart. Driver Chipset installed SMBus Controller
2. install a second and restart. This will install the drivers for the two video cards (Intel and AMD).
Never install the Intel one only and never allow an update from HP Intel or Windows update to install or switchable graphics card will stop working.

4 network (wireless)

I am trying to upgrade my Satellite M40 (PSM40A - 03 K 009) for Windows 7 Home Premium, but towards the end of the installation, my laptop reboots and freezes you try to start Windows 7.
I restarted in safe mode, and it seems to get stuck loading \windows\system32\drivers\classpnp.sys.
I have tried everything I can think: Startup Repair running on the installation disc, install the latest versions of the drivers, update BIOS, disk reformatting, etc, but nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help?
See you soon
Please don t get me wrong, but this old notebook was designed for Windows XP Home edition. I imagine that you have problems with the installation of Win7, but I'm afraid that there is not much you can do about it.
This laptop old models are not supported for Win7 and Toshiba will not offer some updates as the BIOS update. If you want to use the newer operating system probably you must also update your hardware. Maybe it's time for the new laptop computer. ;)
A few days ago, I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L750-1WW used (about 3 years).
The only issue with it is, that there Windows 7 Professional and of course corrupt, but the original OS was Home Premium. This laptop will be my mother, and I don't want to (and also) to pass messages each time you start: "this copy of Windows is not genuine" and other things.
Another thing: there is no recovery partition! I couldn't do a simple system restore...
However, it is a key product for HP Win7 64 bit on the bottom of the PC, it does not work on any Windows 7 (Home Premium - Ultimate - Professinal, 32-64 bit), I tried all the possibilities.
I asked Microsoft Community to give me assistance on the resettlement of the original operating system.
They told me to say to my Toshiba problem, because only the manufacturer can wake the system, or reinstall the original OS.
So now, I ask you for help.
> Another thing: there is no recovery partition!
Of course the previous owner has modified (formatted) HARD drive and the table partitions, and consequently, the recovery of partitions isn't available.
The serial key you will find at the bottom of the unit does not have in relation to the clean Microsoft Windows operating system. He touches s an OEM and belongs to the Toshiba system preinstalled.
If you want to get the original operating system preinstalled, you can order the recovery disk. The recovery disk would fix the laptop to factory condition.
Here, you could get this disc:
I have a new HP p-7 1074. It came with windows 7 64 bit home premium and 8 GB of RAM. I installed two more RAM 4 GB cards, but the system says 16 GB of RAM is installed, but still says that only 7.5 GB is used. What is the problem and can I fix it?
Try to check the advanced boot options to solve your problem by;
By clicking on the Windows Start 'Orb', then in the bar look for msconfig and press enter
The "System Configuration" window opens on the screen
Click on the tab "Boot".
Click on the 'Advanced Options' button and then uncheck the 'Maximum memory'
Click 'OK', click 'Apply', ' OK and finally click "restart."
I recently received from Toshiba Satellite Pro C660-1 t 1 that I have Windows 7 Home Premium. Now I want to uninstall it and load windows XP on this...
I have removed Toshiba HDD protection prgram and try to boot the XP cd... His going up to the installation of windows XP and I get a blue screen.
Could you please help me how to uninstall this...? I'm bit desperate your help greatly appriciated
Thanks in advance.
I assume that you are missing the driver SATA.
Please check this forum using the advanced search option. You will find hundreds of discussions where you can read how to install Windows XP Home edition on the newer model laptop.
BTW: create recovery DVDs before you begin to install own OS.
I did a full install of Windows 10 yesterday and I did not all records or documents as I saved them to my external hard drive.
The problem that I ran was that my NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 has no update to win 10 and that it does not appear correctly.
My computer came with Windows 7 Home premium installed and I have the product key.
As I installed the full version on Windows 10, I can't get the computer to win 7.
I don't have a Windows 7 disc, when I bought the computer, so I need to know if I can download a copy of the Windows 7 Home Premium somewhere and use my current product key?
When the computer is again I did a set of recovery discs and I still have those... I don't know if they can help.
Any help or advice would be very helpful. A download link would be useful as well.
Thank you in advace for your help. Jim.
Yes the disks you did will be reinstall W7, disc 1 is bootable, then put it in the drive and restart the PC, when you see the Dell logo ESC key several times, then select your boot (cd-dvd-rom) device, it should now boot from disc 1 and start the recovery process, it is a long process, so be patient and don't do anything unless otherwise , it will restart on its own several times, do not interrupt the process.
When it is done with the recovery, there will be a screen to start to set up your user name and so on.
I want to format my PC and found out that it is legal to download an online version of Windows if you have a CD - key legal. I have a CD - key legal, but I need a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit in Danish. So far I've been able to find it in other languages but not Danish. Is there anyway to find this online version?
My restore partition does not work, so I can't create the recovery of my own DVDs.
1. download the Windows 7 Pro x 64 Danish on the link below.
2. follow this guide to remove the ei.cfg file in order to obtain all versions of W7, and then either create a flashdrive bootable using win to Flash, or a bootable DVD using Imageburn (these two methods appear in the instructions).

First excuse my bad English, I'm french.
A month ago, I bought an X 500 - 10W.
I would like to re - install two old games that turned on my satellite M30-104 with windows Xp.
I just can not install those on the Qosmio that works with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, even if I use the compatibility mode.
Is there a way to make these ancient works of software?
I found the virtual computer (for windows Xp mode), but it only works with Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate.
Thanks for your replies.
This with virtual PC is good idea and you should get the right version.
I mean if you have games that are designed for Windows XP Home edition, then you know that this will not work on the new operating system to Win7.
Best application virtualization for me without a doubt is VMware Workstation > http://www.vmware.com/
I had a HP slimline, running windows 7 Home premium for HP X 64. Literally, he fried himself and am not able to get something from him. Just read in terms of MS that all software purchased with the PC can be transferred by the same user to another computer. I went on their site and told me I had to contact HP. Now, I have the HP above with 10 windows and hate it. I just want to download for Windows 7 so I can put it on my new PC. I have the code from the old PC.
You can transfer software from one PC to the other Microsoft retail.
The sticker on your old PC that fried itself is an OEM operating system.
Using a product key OEM on another PC is a violation of the Microsoft OEM license agreement.Q. my clients can transfer or sell their software OEM licenses?
Currently, I use a HP pavilion Elite desktop PC, windows 7 64 bit, I don't know if I should spend it or just buy a new windows 8, I bought an 8 portable windows for my spouse found but missing because it does not come with media center or Lightscribe, nor Microsoft is that I use a lot.
What would participate to upgrade this PC or would it be easier just to buy a new one, and I can't the characteristics that I have everything installed on a new computer. Any suggestion would be appreciated, thanks.
Thanks for taking the time to answer, I now HPE-150ff office, product # AY603AA-ABL,.
[personal information deleted] Serial No., it has a hard drive of 1 TB and 8 GB-DDR3, Intel R Core processor i7 CPU [email protected], super multi DVD writer with Lightscribe, bought in 2010,
I'm of the Canada so do not know if the serial number and the product # is different from what would show in the United States, but hope this info helps. I really don't like windows 8, we have bought a laptop earlier this year and came with a guarantee of 2 years that I really like a lot of the programs that I use often, but is not included in windows 8, I like windows media, Microsoft office Task Manager, multimedia player, these elements are an upgrade to windows 8.
I use it only for use domestic, but not sure how long Microsoft must support windows 7 or I would upgrade just my Home Premium, I'm hopeing to maintain the current system as being to retirement cannot redeem every 2 or 3 years, printers are quite cheap to purchase and one that I bought at the photosmart time even more B209a is still going strong, but my new 7510e was a nightmare. I do not play on my computer, but like to do photo and other projects and want lots of room and speed which is the reason for the 1 TB HD.
Considering how long Windows XP has been supported, I can say that Windows 7 will be around and supported by Microsoft for a number of years to come.
There is no driver Windows 8 on the web support portal in the section to download the driver to your desktop PC Pavilion Elite HPE-150ff. This should be a prime consideration in the upgrade or replace the decision. Your current system is fine, but given the fact that it is from the 2009 models, for safety data and your peace of mind, I recommend you to upgrade in the year. Four or five years for a home PC is an expectation of reasonable product life cycle. After that, it may or may not work as expected. It would also be a good idea to save your photos on an external drive. If you buy a new PC with Windows 8 Pro as operating system, Media Center is included in the purchase.
Upgrade for laptops running Windows 8 Media Centeris relatively expensive, but not free. You can download and use the version of Microsoft Office 2013 start free. This is the replacement for Microsoft Works.
I bought a new laptop Toshiba Satellite R850-115 with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium.
For some reason any he doesn't let me install Windows 7 Home Premium.
I always have a product key on the lower part of the machine.
Should what steps I follow to install the OS?
> For some reason any he doesn't let me install Windows 7 Home Premium.
How to understand this?
To be honest I don t understand what you hear are exactly.
Each new laptop comes with the recovery image pre-installed when you start for the first time OS will be installed and started for the first time.
It works for you or not?
