  Just bought a Dell Precision 490. It comes with 32-bit Windows 7 HP... The product key for Windows 7 is on the case. With this key, there is a Microsoft Windows Vista Business OEM key. My first question is how do I know if it is a key of 32 or 64-bit of Windows Vista? Or can be used for either (it does not specify the key). My second question is how properly to reinstall Windows Vista. I noticed there are a lot of different people who sell different restart/reinstall/repair disk. Thank you.

  Windows OEM product keys can be used to install either 32-bit or 64-bit.

  You can ask Dell support (if in the United States, and after a "transfer of property") or use a disc from another system that corresponds to the version of that license is for (Home, Ultimate, etc.):

  Just boot on the Windows DVD, delete all partitions that are shown to you, then call install... you will have to install drivers after Windows is installed, but you can ask that once Windows is on.

• Encryption on MSE keys 8000 blades - are free? How to order?

  I work on an upgrade of MSE-8000 for a client and was able to determine that the encryption keys did not receive when it was purchased. (blades 8710 and 8510)  Apart from the missing encryption keys, they have the activation key, cluster support and the screen/media-port already installed licenses.  They have active SMARTnet support on all equipment.

  I have been informed that these encryption keys are 0-dollar.  Is this true?

  Can someone point me in the right direction how to find the correct part number to add the keys of this existing system?

  I tried the license group, but they insisted that I needed a code PAK or a SO # to move forward.

  My use case is that we have a structure (tree created by programming) as:

  Note: The numbers inside "[]" indicates the key (disclosedRowKey) of the line of the node.
  
  If I'm deleting the node "Seeded" then the line of the node key "Seedless" should become [0, 0, 0] and respectively for its child node.
  
  But in my application when I delete the "Seeded" node, the keys to total communication is not get altered so that it is looking for the old lines and when he is not able to find what is throw no exception available line.

• Is it possible to configure Dreamweaver to use a pair of public/private key for SFTP?

  Recently, I've been through a lot of effort to set up a new server because my only previous has been compromised somehow notified. I want to make absolutely certain that all Exchange of FTP files or administrative tasks (i.e., SSH) with the server are * encrypted *.  I opened DW CS4 and tried to create a new site where the remote server is FTP and 'use secure FTP' is checked. Unfortunately, this box does not allow me to specify a private key for my communications with the server and I need to activate password login for the SSHD daemon on the server.  Dreamweaver does support key based authentication?  Such a total disappointment if it isn't.

  Asked the same question a few months ago by another user, and unfortunately the answer is no, DW does not support this feature.

  If you would like DW to support this in a future version then I suggest that you post a feature request - https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&product=12. The more people who request a new feature more chances are that it can be implemented.

• Duplicate the NIC GUID under Windows 2008 R2

  I have created a model of Windows 2008 R2 and you can "Deploy VMS of this model" with her.

  If I make a sysprep on the host computer before making a model then I get the unique GUID but customization of VMWare does not work.

  Either I shouldn't need to do the sysprep command myself (as for some reason, it's on the vcenter server) or the unattended answer file, I use when I manually sysprep has misconfigured options.

  If anyone has encountered this error and is there a solution outside "deploy model, then manually uninstall and add network adapters.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  The last step of the bulding your model must be to remove and uninstall your Windows Server's network card.

• HPDM: HPDM replace self signed SSL certificates for server HDPM and master repository

  I am trying to replace the automatically generated self-signed certificates (issued to DM) issued by DM server HDPM and master repository.  I'm NOT arbitration FTPS, HTTPS embedded HPDM or CERT Thin Client Agent server.

  I already have CERT for the installation of our own internal domain CA for FTPS in IIS and the built-in Apache HTTPS server.  These work properly and pass tests of repository for both protocols.  I also have questions for Thin Clients of our internal CA very well.

  I am interested in the HPDM real server cert and cert master repository. These are generated automatically when the two services start.  They use a very weak MD5 hash and key RSA 1024.  I can't find any documentation around that, with the exception of troubleshooting, in which you can remove these certificates restart services and they will be regenerated.

  Here are the paths certs\key
  HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Controller.crt (Cert repository)

  HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Controller.key (repository key)

  HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Client.crt (HPDM Server Cert)

  HPDM % install Path%\Server\Bin\hpdmskey.keystore (Both HPDM server and repository Certs and keys) (not sure what format it is in.  It is not PEM and P12 ok I can say)

  There are also some HPDM % install Path%\Server\bin\hpdmcert.key.  Don't know what it is.  It's the key to the server HPDM but deleting it does nothing and it is never re auto generated in one of my tests.

  I am able to replace the Controller.crt and keys with my own files CA internal those emitted very well.  The service started and no errors occur.  However if I replace the Client.cert (HPDM Server Cert) with my own service will start but there are Socket SSL errors in repository logs and the HPDM server could not connect to the master repository. I have no idea where the key file is supposed to be for HPDM Server Cert.

  Can anyone help with this?  I can't find the configuration files for the service to generate their own certificates.  If I did I would try at least to change the config to do not use MD5.

  These certiricates between HPDM server and MRC are not designed for customizable. Please submite one scenario if you have concerns of security on it.

  Just for info:

  hpdmcert. Key is for communication between the server HPDM and gateway HPDM

  hpdmskey.keystore is for communication between the server HPDM and MRC

  server_keystore is for the commhucation between HPDM server and the Console HPDM

• ProBook 4530 s bluetooth does not

  I bought a HP Probook s 4530. The saleswoman told me that it is the bluetooth device. The original operating system installed on it was LINUX. But since I change the OS Win 7 Ultimate, I had to install the drivers from scratch. I got a few pilot installation of the saleswoman files and down them. But now on the Device Manager there is an exclamation point on the bluetooth device and there the error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) ». What can I do to fix this?

  At the start, press the F10 key to start the installation of the BIOS.

  Go to system-> Options of the integrated device Configurations.

  I can add as an option on my VCSESTRTPACK and remove the pack before starter option. After that, I have a VCSE without refueling.

  But what of the Jabber user? How did the license provided for me?

  Can I install just the touch option even on MSDS and this will add 100 user of Jabber for her? Or do I have to buy a separate license for this?

  From what I found online:

  • You can convert the Starter Pack, either a control or highway depending on what part number you use (CTI-VCSC-SPUPG-K9 or CTI-VCSE-SPUPG-K9).
  • You will lose the integrated supply management and Jabber video/Movi licenses.
  • You will retain licensing additional call that have been purchased on top of the base call licenses.

  Then I realized that there was something wrong with the VC ++ 2005, so I uninstalled and reinstalled this several times running, but it didn't work.

  MY laptop is equipted with I3, 4 GB RAM and 500 GB of disk. I think that it fast enough to make this request. AND my OS is win7 ultimate 64 - bit English version.

  The problem could be resolved if you try to install the final version.

• Grouping of different MCU series

  I have a client with and old and a new microcontroller, he would like to cluster two of them to have ports up.

  MCU OLD: 4510 Version: s4.1 (1.51)

  New MCU: 5320 Version 4.4

  Under the new version 4.5, its supports two MCU.

  My questions:

  1.) if I spend two MCUS at the same version, I can their cluster.

  2.) if I don't pass the OLD MCU, is there anyway I can their cluster.

  Also don't I have to have a key cluster support to make it work.

  It is not possible to combine different MCU models, all microcontrollers must be the same model to be clustered, the only exception to this is, this is the where you can group different of the MCU 5000 series models. Everything simply because the software MCU supports clusters, means that the material is, check out the specific model of MCU to see if it supports clusters. Grouping microcontrollers require a key option, however with the MCU 5000 series it requires a stacking cable, if media MCU clustering refers to its deployment guides on how to create a cluster.

• Bulk 6.2 and vSphere 6 no resources available for bookings

  Hi all

  I spun a vSphere brand new brand 6 environment using vCenter device (with SSO and vCenter distributed on different devices) and installed the NSX.  Everything works as expected.  Then I installed vCAC 6.2 (using the SSO vCenter for auth) and everything seems to work except that when I added the new end point for vCenter and NSX I get no calculation/storage/network resources available to place in a new reservation (Group of fabric absorbs the cluster if communications seem to be ok between IaaS and vCenter).

• Host isolation response Question

  So, there were a few questions recently in our company on the host isolation response works in vCenter server 4.1.  Given the descriptions on the options available to the virtual machine power on or at the bottom of the current virtual machine, how HA determines that an isolated host is really isolated and running compared to completely failed (offline)?

  Can someone explain in detail a bit more technical that what the VMware article pages kb explain works host isolation response?

  Reading of how insulation host configurations can be defined, if you set the parameters of insulation "leave the virtual machine running", in case of total failure of host (offline) the other cluster hosts not to try the virtual machine online on another host?  And it is recommended to set the response of isolation to "turn off" so that the other hosts in the cluster can bring the virtual machine online?

  I still don't understand how a host can be determined as 'remote' from the 'offline '.  Isolation is simply the communications network have failed and are virtual machine always happily along on the isolated host.  A host simply default and past in offline mode (power failure Physics for example) is a completely different scenario.  Locks are not released correctly (not be able to any type of response of isolation configuration) and the virtual machine is not running on the host offline

  To the HA cluster if communication is lost to a node of the cluster assumes that the node has failed and will be Jean-Marie to restart the virtual machine on nodes in the cluster of rremaining - locks are constantly updated so if the host is not responding is rather isolated that failed he'll again be refreshing locks on the VMDK files. and virtual machines does not start - it is this feature which allows the AP to work - because with what you describe HA would never--work

  The other guests guess always the isolated host is really down and try to restart the VMs - isloated host system is the machine that will follow response of isolation parameters - either the vms on power or powered by letting off the coast
