Key lost office 2013

Can't find my office key!  What I owe any alternative at Dell that buy the software? It is preinstalled on my small office Dell computer in October 2014.  And because of my stupidity, I had to do a factory restore like my computer has been hacked and I decided not to pay ransom for $200 for my admin password lock, windows rights revoked.   I hope that the bad guys get one on me... I am a lost cause?

There are no options at all.  2016 is the version of office now.

Dell does not replace the MPI card product of Microsoft with the top key identifier.

  • How to back up and restore Office 2013 product key or registration / activation file

Warning:  I posted this on Microsoft several 'community support Sites' and if I have yet to have a real Microsoft tech support address the question of the MAN, several 'MVP', but nobody has yet come with an entirely feasible answer, although they tried. One of the guys who posted something (after that I showed him proof that there is such a thing as a Dell OEM version supplied to MS Office Home & Business 2013 - originally, there was no such animal) was that I should "go back to Dell and ask them" so here I am. My original message is copied and pasted below...

I myself have read almost blind in the last 3 days and several hours now and I still cannot get to a definitive answer so I'll rephrase the question: How can I be save the Home Office & Business 2013 'activation file"(or token) or discover and extract the full product key for it?  After that I upgraded my Windows 8.1 Professional (32-bit) Dell to win 10 Pro I had horrible crash problems. It is obvious that I have to reformat and start from scratch. I managed to get the 10 Pro Windows product key using the latest version of Belarc Advisor but I'm hit a brick wall on my installation of Office Home & Business 2013. Not only is the Dell OEM version but I had to go through Microsoft once to get a new (replacement) product because of a problem earlier, key and since it is the OEM version there is no trace of it on "my account / Office products ' Microsoft page. apparently if you don't buy the commercial version, the product key is not registered there (but it is fully registered and operational, of course). Per this Microsoft article https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Find-your-Office-product-key-after-installation-026bc81b-6b2f-4052-b433-f41e6cc31c5a?CorrelationId=ca7068f2-6a47-4d71-942c-10591d4b00ec&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US and the Belarc program I can (and subsequently have) found the last 5 characters of the Key but that's not going to do me any good after the re-install unless I have the rest of them. I also tried all the other "key finder" programs suggested in countless other articles and none of them can find the key to the Office Home & Business 2013, or I couldn't do it in hacking / record research.  Simply, I can't believe that Microsoft has not made a provision for backup then restore a specific file "token" with the necessary info in it or extract the necessary key Code so that the Bureau could be reinstalled in the current scenario.  If all goes well a MS employee or some other Expert of the Office can provide concrete information, step by steps on how to do it.  Thanks in advance.

I sincerely hope that the other guys on the Microsoft Forums sent me in the right direction here; as the pesky Key Code for office 2013 has got to be stored in an accessible location (it is not on any Microsoft server that is accessible by our end users, that's for sure) and there must be some program or methodology around there to recover and decode the thing so it may be reinstated when the program is reinstalled...

Desktop licenses Dell would have came on a map of MPI:

    http://www.Dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN155139/en

This is the only place you will get your key. Finders key as Advisor of Berlarc do not give the full product key 25 digits unlike Office 2010 and earlier versions.

Main finders are useless for Windows 10 family as the free update uses based device activation and key finders will signal a generic product key. See here:

  • MS Office 2013 does not work in the new computer

Our new computer, optiplex 3020, came with MS Office 2013; However, we have never been able to use all of the Office components.  We still get an error, for example. Microsoft Word has stopped working.  A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.  We can see the document in the error message.

Maybe we need to register the product, but how to make a page to save it?

You can try to remove the normal.dotm template file. This may solve the problem:

    Quit Word

    Press Windows key + R

Copy and paste the following text in the field:

    %USERPROFILE%\Application data\microsoft\templates

    Press the Enter key

Find and delete the Normal.dotm file

    Restart Word.

If this does not work, try to maintain the CTRL key when you start Word. If Word starts, you have a bad component loading snap. Let me know and I'll post instructions.

  • Cannot install Office 2013 imaged drive of a Windows 7 Pro computer.

I need to use a disk image to install Office 2013 on a Win 7 Prop machine. It is easy through "Assembly" in Win 8, but there is no mention on how to do it with a Win 7 PC? I have downloaded the MS Office site image and I have the key code that accompanies it.

    Hello

On Windows 8, you can ride. ISO directly files. It is a new feature of Windows 8.

However, on Windows 7, you need to burn the ISO to a disc.  If a CD or a third-party DVD burning program is installed on your computer, this program could open when you double-click on the disk image file.

    See the article:

  • Captivate 7 stuck loading after installing Microsoft Office 2013

Before the problem started, I initially had Adobe Captivate 5 (No 7) and worked fine until I installed Microsoft Office 2013. As I tried to start Captivate 5, it gets stuck on the loading page, the Welcome screen never appears. After I checked this blog on the forum, which is to blame 3rd party fonts that can cause this problem to occur, I have never installed the fonts part 3rd - I knew not if Office 2013 come with additional fonts that are not compatible with Captivate 5. So, I removed 5 Captivate and installed version Captivate 7 track (32-bit) thinking that Captivate 7 will agree with all of the additional fonts provided with Microsoft Office 2013. Still having the same issue - cannot get the homescreen - stuck on the loading screen. Regardless, if I try to start the software or attempt to open an existing Captivate file by double clicking.

According to another blog on the forum, I also tried delete/rename the folder located in C:\Users\MYUSERID\AppData\Local\Adobe Captivate, but that did not help either. Now, I completely removed Captivate® 5, record of the directly, as I have installed 7 Captivate - still stuck with the same problem.

I am running Window 7 Professional (32 bit), have the latest version of Java SE 7 update 25 updated AIR downloaded and of course each time removed any software, I restart the computer to update the registration keys before installing a newer version of a software.

Help and advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!

    Kind regards

    Hello!

    Please try the following steps

    1. copy and paste all of the c: Windows fonts / Fonts to another folder on the desktop

    2. try to remove as much as possible c: Windows fonts / Fonts (system fonts will not be deleted).

    3. then try to launch Captivate 7, if it starts successfully while there could be a police related issue again.

    4. close the Captivate 7 and then try to stick a lot of fonts from the folder on the desktop back to the c: Windows / Fonts and there still check if Captivate works very well.

    Thank you

  • Office 2013 on Win7 using bootcamp has delay time

I use Win 7 teacher on a piece of Macbook Air 2014 with bootcamp 5 and MS Office 2013. Up to 4 weeks everything works well, and the performance was great. And then I got the delay time:

-Closing remarks is the longest in about 4-5 sec

-editig one Excel cell and switch to another will cost about 4 to 5 sec

    - and so on

Thanks to this performance, it is horrible to work. I have also removed Office and install it again without any result.

Anyone have some advice for me? Is there some patches in which software never cause this?

Or am I alone with this?

    THX in advance

    Frank

Your is no longer in a Mac environment, if this side of "windows" because you're not virtualize, you run Windows as a complete solution for Windows. OS X doesn't play not any part of your experience. Windows as OS X should be updated with patches and update securities, the latter is the only support Windows offers for Version 7, it is out of development and was removed by Microsoft for more than a year. All compatibility fixes should come from Microsoft, see microsoft.com for the availability of these.

Outside the correction and the issues pourraient be caused by:

Disk fragmentation that is common in windows. (However it is not under OS X, don't defrag on Mac, OS updates will do everything if it you better than anything you can buy)

    hard disk-ragmenting https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/help/17126/Windows-7-improve-performance-def

Font management (again, on the side of 'Windows', your OS X fonts do not play in this)

3rd party Windows applications, such as anti-virus and the litany of bloatware inherent with Windows. Windows has a startup mode for troubleshooting.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/help/17419/Windows-7-Advanced-startup-option s-safe-mode

and possibly disk goes wrong, which can be controlled using this method

  • Satellite Pro C50 - A - crash Microsoft Office 2013 during the open applications

I recently bought a Satellite Pro C50 - A PSCG7A-01X01V. I installed Windows 8.1 and then installed Office 2013. Unfortunately, when I start one of the applications Office 2013 he immediately blocked with an example error message: "Microsoft Word has stopped working". I tried starting in safe mode applications (for example excel/safe) but the same error occurs. Is someone able to answer these problems?

Nice to hear that you found the solution. Thanks for the links posted.

  • Printer driver crashes when printing with Office 2013/8 64-bit Windows

    Printer: HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi

Printer driver: V5.1 (to date, downloaded from the HP support Web site) or generic V5.6

    OS: Windows 8 Professional 64-bit

When I try to print an Excel document with Excel 2013 and V5.1 printer driver, the program freezes and must end with the Task Manager. This always occurs with the same document, but not with all the documents. Program also crashes when opening the preview before printing to the same document.

The same document prints fine with V5.6 generic print driver and with the driver supplied with Windows 8.

The same document prints fine with the driver version 5.1 on Windows 7 and Office 2010. The combination of Windows 7/Office 2013 has not been tested. Windows 8/Office 2010 combination has also not been tested.

When I try to print an empty document with the word 2013 and the generic printer V5.6, the program driver crashes and must end with the Task Manager.

My conclusion is that the HP printer drivers have a problem with Windows 8 or office 2013 or a combination of both.

The printer driver supplied with Windows 8 and is installed automatically is useful as a temporary workaround, but it lacks some options, e.g. manual duplex.

Upon request, I am ready to send the Excel document by e-mail for verification of the problem.

For any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    ULI

It worked!  Thank you very much.

Where others have difficulties to find the offending setting, here's another way to track him down.

    -> control Panel-> devices and printers-> (select printer-> right mouse)-> printer properties-> settings-> tab Installable Options (bottom)-> Printer Status Notification-> change on 'off '.

    Thank you!!

  • Microsoft Office 2013 is compatible with "Works for Windows.

My new pc is Windows 8.1 Desktop, HP Pavilion 500 series.  My aging XP pc has work for installed Windows I used since 2000 and who has all my files and a very useful database. This has been used for the execution of a small family business and all files are very important. How to install these old files and database on my new Windows 8.1?

I recently installed on this new pc HP Office 2013 Home & Business that I find very complicated compared to Works for Windows, which I understand is no longer available (such a shame because it was a brilliant program!).

In addition, anyone know if there is a dedicated database within 2013 Office Home & Business for the names and addresses and mail merge?  I can't find!

It seems that the XP machine has become a glorified weight and should be removed.  Disk drives fail, problematic USB and no internet access, indeed, it became useless and your knocking you head for anything.  Maybe time to change.

There would be a way to recover your data by converting the external hard drive on a hard drive where you would be able to transfer.  See this:
