Keyboard and Apple TV 4

My Apple TV 4 does not recognize my apple keyboard since it has been updated version tvOS 10.

It has worked before in the latest version. What can I do to fix this?

Thank you

Go to settings > Bluetooth, then turn off the twinning partner new keyboard. Also restart your TV via settings or by unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds.

If you have any other iDevices , you can also download the Remote application and use the keyboard on these devices.

Your machine is still under warranty, so you should take it to your local Apple store for repairs. Function late in January, you bought it, you still have phone without support. If you can't find any help on the Apple Store, then I don't know what you expect to find here. We have no way to check for problems you have described or any additional hardware, etc.

  • MacBook keyboard AND Trackpad works do not!

    Hello

This morning when I opened my mac, my keyboard and trackpad were insensitive. The only button that worked was the power button. I shut it down and then instead of open a log in screen, it opened to a screen that was an animation of an external mouse and trackpad. I could move the arrow when I plugged in the mouse, but I couldn't type. I do not have an external keyboard that I can plug so I don't know if it would work.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? I need my laptop to work as soon as POSSIBLE!

    Thank you

  • macOS Sierra installed ok, but the keyboard and mouse freeze after a short use.  Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm running a MBP 17 "(fin 2011) with CPU i7 2.5 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and an SSD 1 TB for storage."

El Capitan has worked well and all updates have been applied.

Sierra (production, not beta) installation went without a hitch.  However, after using Siri and some other applications (which I closed), I opened and used Pages (also just improved).

After about 15 minutes, the bluetooth mouse has frozen, then froze the built-in trackpad and keyboard.

I gave her a few minutes in the case where it is clear.  I have consulted the page document to my iPad and it updated on the MBP display.

Finally he needed a hard reboot with the power button.

I had to restart twice this way, but was running a different application when he stopped on occasion earlier.

    Anyone had this happen?

  • How can I repair my broken Magic Keyboard and Mouse?

My niece who is 23 years younger than broken me my Apple Magic keyboard and mouse Magic Mouse from Apple for my iMac, and all of them are not in stock because they are used on Mac computers, and I don't want to lose a keyboard and a mouse, another Mac as on my Mac Pro. She said I was due, but I SLEEP, then all of a sudden, I heard the noise. Is there warranty for the keyboard and mouse? How can I replace it with Apple because she says it's worth $ 5, and piano of plastic doll is worth $ 500 and the cheap plastic. Should I go to the Genius Bar because the keys are gone, and the mouse is broken.

Apple does not cover such damages, regardless of warranty.

You can buy new online through a variety of websites looking for them online, that they do not have to come from Apple.com. Stores of brick and mortar like best buy or Wal-Mart can take so if an Apple Store is not an option. There are also alternatives and sometimes a lot less expensive replacements through various vendors such as Microsoft and Targus just to name a few.

  • Internal standby mode keyboard and Trackpad no longer work after

Since last week, after the "sleep mode" most of the time the keyboard and trackpad not working.

External keyboard / mouse works via USB.

If I reboot in safe mode, reset the NVRAM / PRAM / SMC, it seems to work for awhile yet.

Has not installed a new best software to my knowledge.

    Any ideas?

Same thing here. I tried to reinstall OS X and it worked for awhile, but now no way to solve this problem, I even haven't tried internet recovery. The funny part is that if you press power + shift + ctrl + alt when the mac is on it will restart, so the keyboard seems to be working. I really feel that it is a software bug in the firmware. Apple please fix this once and for all!

  • Macbook Air using with mouse, keyboard, and external display?

I want to put in place a more ergonomic work station. Can anyone recommend how I can configure my Macbook Air 13 "to use at home with an external monitor as well as an external keyboard and mouse? What is the easiest and most cost-effective way? Is a necessary dock if I buy a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, then simply plug the monitor each time? Could I use this set up with my macbook screen closed? I bring my Macbook to every day, so it must be easily plugged/unplugged. Thank you.

A dock is not necessary. If you use a USB keyboard and mouse or a BT, it is up to you. I use a BT Magic Mouse and Apple keyboard in my office. That leaves just two things to plug: monitor and the power cord. When you use an external monitor as primary monitor you can close the lid of the computer and it will not go to sleep.

  • Keyboard and magic mouse

How long does take to recharge the mouse and keyboard, never done before. I have a 21.5-inch iMac, with keyboard and wireless mouse. Thank you very much...

Depends on how long the batteries are discharged. Maybe an hour for the keyboard and a littles less for the mouse.

You can connect the Lightening cable to the USB port and then to the keyboard or the mouse and use the devices while they are in charge.

  • my keyboard and the trackpad unresponsive

I have a macbook pro 2012. I can't type anything with his keyboard, it won't change the brightness using brightness key or caps lock light up in green when you press.

also, the trackpad does not meet the request or click on, I'm literally on a desktop keyboard and a mouse to do anything.

I had a look at the mother/logicboard map and saw that there was a very small fragment of black that had chipped and poured a small amount of dried up of liquid on the map itself, I think that maybe it's the issue task, no matter what you think?

    and wouldn't be expensive?

You cannot connect two computers via their HDMI output ports.

  • Failure of keyboard and trackpad MacBook Pro

The keyboard and the trackpad on my Macbook Pro has stopped working properly. Here is the story:

-from a few months, I noticed occasional problems where the keyboard and the trackpad may stop responding; a reboot always fixed it

-a week, I woke up the Mac from sleep and he informed me that he could not find a keyboard or trackpad; given zero had no effect; keyboard and mouse USB Bluetooth worked

-J' I reset the SMC. This has no effect

-J' have tried a restore and noticed something very strange: because the restoration would take 6 hours or more, I needed to use the Mac, I cancelled restore... and the keyboard and trackpad worked well... for a day about

-J' started having intermittent problems with keys does not, then the keyboard and trackpad stopped working again. It recharges worked, but only a couple of times and then I had to use the external keyboard and mouse once again

-J' started another restoration, yet once I gave up because I needed access to the Mac... and the keyboard and trackpad work again.

I intend to try a full restore of the day to the next.

    Hello CocoGriff!

Thanks for reaching out on your trackpad and keyboard works intermittently on your MacBook Pro.  Looks like you've got a good start on things so far.

Reinstall OS X can be good to rule out a software problem, causing their lack of reaction.  Before we get to that, you can try restarting in safe mode to see if they act even in safe mode.

Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.
