• Several problems with a simple replacement of the subset of table

  I'm new to LabVIEW and I try to teach me how to use it.  As you can imagine, I'm running into a few barriers.  The code that I'm including embodies many of my problems.  If someone can explain to me how to improve this code, I would be grateful.

  Copy the following code is a simplified version of a more complex code, that I'm writing.  In the simplified code, I have a control ('VALUE') that I would like to register at different locations in my table of 5 x 3.  To do this, I tried to make a 5 x 3 constant I could replace it with the value of the control.  The code does not work as expected and this is my specific problems:

  1. I can't initialize the array constant (the one I intend to crush).  I can only initialize the first row.  Based on the help files, I thought I should be able to initialize it by clicking on the boxes in the chart on the block diagram and entering values.  But it doesn't seem to let me do this.  Don't know if there is a special way to open when more than 1 dimension is involved?

  2. my slider controls are intended to establish where in the table to place the element.  But is not no longer works.

  3. I can't understand how properly to a code which has a while loop integrated in a while loop.  Someone recommended using a structure of the event, but as a beginner, I will have trouble to know how I would enact who.  I tried to play with the settings of locking/switching the button stop, but that did not work, either. The problem seems to be that, if I am inside the while loop, the program does not see my stop command.  Is there a way to connect as the stop button works, regardless if I'm inside the another while loop?  If not, is there a way to accomplish what I want in the smallest loop without using a while loop?  If I used a structure of the event, how would I created an 'event' to tell the program to store a new data point in the array?

  Also note that in LabVIEW array indices are zero-based.  If the values of the row index can be 0, 1, or 2.  If you want your users to see 1, 2, and 3, then put a function decrement between the terminals of the cursor and the function replace table subset.

• No idea: sudden failure of several keys on the wireless keyboard

  Hello, I use a wireless keyboard HP, M/N on the back said SK-2060, but this site does not recognize as a model number, so I'm not entirely sure what keyboard model number it is.

  The keyboard has been working well for months, more than a year by this question, I think. Just this morning several key of all isn't on me at the same time, and they are all in the same area. O, 9, f7, and f8 keys are not admissible. I have read some things and thought it might be a driver problem, I uninstalled the drivers for my keyboard and the keyboard no longer works, I re-plugged my wireless adapter and it re-installed the drivers and the keyboard is working again. All the broken keys still don't work.

  I don't think it's a hardware problem, none of the buttons seem as if something is stuck sub, or obstructed in any way. All of them worked very well last night, now they have suddenly stopped and they are all in the same general area of the keyboard.

  I was wondering if someone could help understand me what went wrong, or how I might be able to fix it.

  I have a new keyboard for the moment, but it is not as comfortable as the keyboard HP that I use, and I would be able to fix it if I could.

• Envy 17 ": faulty keyboard HP Envy

  I bought my laptop HP Envy about a month ago and everything that I am not too impressed - expensive given how it was! The mouse is capricious, it crashed several times (and Yes - all my updates and antiviral software are certainly aware), but the most worrisome is a serious malfunction with my keyboard. Now, it is impossible to use a particular character more than once in quick succession without first waiting 3 seconds as the discount system. For example, if I wanted to type the word "estate", I have to type "juice" (wait 3 seconds) then "these" (another 3 seconds wait) then "Zion." It is the same for the BACKSPACE and return - which, as you imagine it is enough to drive me crazy.

  This is really outrageous and unacceptable. I am a graduate student busy who need to write thousands of words each week, and this product is shockingly bad.

  HP: Please help as a matter of urgency!

  On the Start Menu, open setting, then easy access and keyboard - make sure that both "Turn Sticky Keys" & "Turn on filter keys" is disabled.

  I have a brank new Officejet Pro8600 and it's the same as my last HP all-in-one has started doing.  Even if he receives only one fax from page, it seems to read as two pages and also spits out a blank second page.

  My frustration is more, because I just replaced my last all-in-one to do the same thing.  It's a waste of paper and very boring.

  I'm happy that I got this sent to me, because I was really pulling my hair, and it looks like you are too.  I finally came up with a workaround, that nobody at HP and Verizon could help.

  Finally, I changed the configuration of the fax on legal size paper, and it works like a charm.  For some reason, it was as if the received fax was not aligning with the dimensions of the letter, but now that I changed the settings, I have more the problem of paper all this waste.

  Hi all - stupid question, I'm sure!  Somehow, my pad switched to the mode of the "arrow", so press '8' moved the cursor to the top, and '7' it moves diagonally upward and to the left.  I don't know how I managed to pass, and I don't know how to recover it for numbers, as there is no "num lock" key

  If you use Windows 7:

  Click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, click on ease of access and click on on-screen keyboard

  or

  Press the Windows key + u and select the on screen keyboard

  Press the onscreen keyboard options

  then put a check mark to activate the numeric keypad, and then click OK.

  That should do it.

  Maybe it's a hardware problem, but it is always worth trying the following.

  Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  I use a 5510 with a MacBook Pro v. 10.7.5.  When I send a job to the printer, the printer spits out a blank page before printing the job.  Very annoying-especially when you try to print a sheet of labels.  He spits out of the sheet of labels, and then prints the labels on plain paper.  Help.

  You print these labels of what program?

  Make sure that the settings are correct within the program you are printing from. I'll give you a here document to help you perform this step.

  Looks like the keyboard settings are not those for the real keyboard in use.

  1. go into the Control Panel, region & language, change keyboards, keyboards & languages, tab general, select the correct keyboard in your region * [click Properties... to see a preview of the keyboard layout] or click Add... and select it from the list [while you are in the list, click on the Preview button to see a preview].  If you have added the correct type of keyboard, then move it to the top of the list or delete the original.

  2 then go to the Panel control, region, language, keyboards & languages, change keyboards, language bar tab and, if you regularly change the language settings, make the hidden language bar.

  3 then go to control panel, region, language, keyboards & languages, change keyboards, advanced settings tab key where you can see the shortcut key sequence that could you have this problem by chance. You will also see the sequence of modifier keys that you want to change by clicking on the button sequence of modifier keys and by setting the input language switch & switch keyboard to not [when I changed them, I had to define not entitled for the switch input language and accept change, and then return to the dialog box to set no affect for the keyboard switch setting].

  The ToggleGroup defines the sets of buttons are mutually exclusive: one button within a group can be selected.

  You can set the FXML ToggleGroups (see http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/fxml/doc-files/introduction_to_fxml.html#define_elements). They are not visual components, just logical groupings toggle or radio buttons, sort of css does not really apply.

  Yes, turn the buttons turns on with a single click and then on the road again with another click. (The selected state is "activated" by clicking.) If the button toggle is part of a group of rocker, when you select all the other boxes of the rocking group be deselected.

  But I may have misunderstood what you are trying to do...? I'm not sure.
