  I have 4 error codes displayed in hardware, 1 controller network, 2 & 3 PCI Flash Memory (twice) and 4 video controller (VGA compatible).

  Unfortunately my mother tongue (i.e. Polish) widely uses the right Alt to produce some unique signs. There are many schools, but I prefer to use thumb to press. Unlike other laptops that I used this key on my current Toshiba is far right, making it impossible to strike by the thumb. There is an empty key right next to the space bar. In my setup, it is equivalent to--------, and I want to make another right Alt.

  As much as I know there is no possibility to redefine the keys on the keyboard. The only thing that allows you to redefine is the keyboard input language. This option, you can find in Control Panel under regional and language options.

  The driver from the ATI site will not help you. It is generally not possible to install the original graphic drivers from sites of s card on Toshiba laptops manufacturer.
  The Toshiba own graphics drivers are a bit modified and not the same as the original ATI drivers.

  However, the Web omegadrivers.net site provides drivers for ATI and NVidia chips and to my knowledge, it should be possible to install these drivers on your laptop.

  I'm going round in circles trying to find a video capture device that will work with a laptop computer and would be grateful for advice. For example, I am now looking to the ' Canopus ADVC-110', although still looking autour (but not Pinnacle, which seem to have a bad reputation for the elements of capture).

  1. the main problem is - many video capture devices require a "line-in" for PC for audio transfer of good quality. This laptop is not a line in, only headphones and mike catches.   You are right! You must use an external device for the transmission of signals to your laptop. I put t know where you have this info but I have good experiences with Pinnacle product. I used the USB data transfer.

  Well, I quite agree with the position of the user of the comments above.
  If you use a disk HARD with size is not compatible if the BIOS does not recognize the HARD drive successfully.

  But in your case the Satellite M30X should support 40 GB HARD disk sizes / 60 GB and 80 GB 5400 RPM and a size of 100 GB HARD drive at 4200 RPM.

  I've checked a few threads here on the forum because these themes where already discussed and M30X needs an IDE HDD to my knowledge it s interface IDE (ATA-6)

  Marina has already suggested that some larger HDD (160 GB, 200 GB) might be unsupported and that he would not be recognized by the BIOS.
