  I have Satellite Pro with Vista. I am forced to use the keyboard to the screen because of weird problem. Sort key number 2 is to type continuously; I have to press Fn + F11 to stop this. even in this case some other keys like w, x, c, m, n, which are not the number keys don't work (even without the Fn + F11).

  This made it impossible for me to do a job. I bought my laptop online so I put t remember to receive a recovery disk.

  to disable the standby/Hibernation mode on your system, you should just go to "Control Panel" and open 'powersaver' to change settings powersaver.

  We had a laptop brand Thoshiba (Satellite Pro A120 type; PTA83L-08L02N model number; SL.no. Y6131B1488H) as part of a package of type brand MD - 2000 Tesient relay.

  We use this laptop for other official purposes also. It works smoothly.

  But we were faced with the following problems:
  1. we could connect the computer laptop in Local Area Networking with other desktop computers and laptop. But we could not transmit or receive data from the other computer.

  2. we could connect us the laptop to the network in ad-hoc mode wireless and the laptop showed the link as 'excellent '. But as in the case of LAN, data may not be transferred or received.

  3. we tried to use dial-up modem to the laptop. But we do not have internet access. The error showed was 'busy line (error 676) '. In fact, the line was not busy.

  4. we checked to access internet using Reliance Netconnect USB modem after installing its software. He also failed in showing the "username & passwords are wrong in this area.

  5. I added an init string in the Toshiba modem commands: AT & FX1. But before that, I made a mistake. I installed the Client Services for Netware. After that, the connection mode was changed.   Hi all

  I tried to picture 16 Satellite Pro A100 for several days now. I tried our usual deployment solution called altiris and cela images very well the machine (which means that all files are intact), but when starting says NTLDR error, after looking for awhile, I found that altiris was known to have some problems with SATA disks in function. At this point, I decided to re - build the main image and use Ghost, I tried their exchange of traffic on the network and they picture (the same as previously intact files) but always returned with the same error. Then I tried to drive my main image to another disk drive cloning, once again the same error appeared while my main drive worked fine. I tried all the fixes NTLDR, wrote new boots still with no luck. I don't see it was a hardware failure, because it would be very strange to happen in 15 laptops. What I'm looking for is a form manageable to the Image of these PCs, as they are used in a primary school and will need Imaging regularly.

  I had exactly the same thing happens my laptop Satellite L70-C-12R and said I need to buy a factory reset USB from TOshiba (£42). This seemed to do the trick, but I see once more that are problems before the accident. laptop not to close (continuous reboot itself), extended screens goes black and now the anniversary 10 Windows Update will not install with error 80070008 0 x.

  I have run exactly the same OS and software on my Asus and have no problem at all.

  I suspect it's a clash of 10 Toshiba/Windows somewhere.
