Keychain guests are irritating

My Mac is asking me to specify these persistent Keychain passwords. It is very irritating. How to permanently delete keychain? I don't have a password manager, especially one that is as annoying as it is and I never use.

  1. In the Finder, press the "option" key and click on 'Library' under 'Go '.
  2. In the library folder, scroll down to "keychain".
  3. Click the arrow to the left of the keychain to reveal what's underneath.
  4. Delete everything under Keychain, but not the keychain folder itself. (In my case, I had to remove 3-4 files and a folder).
  5. Restart the mac.
  6. Voila, you're done. Is most annoying jump - rises.

    You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update if necessary:

    Well, I have a HP computer I restored the settings to factory, about 2 weeks ago, and I made 3 accounts (1 admin, 2 standard users) and an active guest account.

    Somehow when this happened, my guest account and my administrator account merged. I can download and all what like Im an administrator, but when I try to change passwords, it says "Windows cannot change the password.

    When I try to create new accounts, it is said that I using invalid symbols in the name (when Im not using any symbols or spaces, letters only)

    When I type in (on cmd) 'control userpasswords2', it shows me all my accounts. It shows 2 normal standard accounts, and the administrator has two categories. Categories: Comments, administrator.

    It says my username is "guest", but my full name is 'Caleb '. I tried to change the two without success.

    Any help?

    Activate the hidden administrator (HAA) account using http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67567-administrator-account.html.  If you don't remember the password, try nothing because that's probably what you (or seller) did during the installation.  This account allows you to change your administrator account.  If even this does ' t work (or even if it does not work), create two new accounts just in case administrator. Once that is done, don't forget to disable the HAA to save it in case it is necessary once again and for safety reasons (since people often try to hack into systems using this account).  Do NOT use the HAA as your administrator account because if you lose the only administrator on the system account or it is damaged again, then you're watered.

    Your original administrator/guest user profile might have been corrupted (maybe by all that has happened--I know not how you did what you did).  To fix this use http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.  BTW, not to activate the account guest - he really never should be used as it is a common way for someoe hijack your system.

    I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, post back with the results of what you have tried and we will try to find another solution.

  • Why the guests are locked on the 100% on HP DL 385 G5p memory usage?

    I have performed nearly identical systems in several secondary schools.  Some are based on HP DL 385 G5 with 2356 processor and some based on HP DL 385 G5p 2378 processor with.  Aside from the slightly different patterns of the host, the rest of the systems are the same (amount of RAM, number of processors, etc.).  Host servers running Windows 2008 core server.

    When I look at the graph of the memory (%) running, the virtual servers on the G5 rise and fall use and release memory as expected.  However, all the servers on the G5p are locked at 100% use of memory and never move.  Can someone explain this difference in behavior?  Influence the way I should plan for future expansion of the system, etc.?

    I've invited Windows 7 SP1 (with the latest updates) installed on a virtual machine hosted on Ubuntu Maverick. The hosts and guests are 32-bit operating systems.     I want to store all of my passwords with Keychain Access iCloud, but I don't want some passwords to autofill. For example, I don't want my user name and password for Auto-filling for my bank accounts - I always feel like typing in manually. However, I still want these passwords to be stored safely in Keychain Access, in which case I forgot. What is the best procedure to achieve this? Currently, all passwords stored in Keychain Access are AutoFill in Safari do anything. If I delete a specific set of keys and manually type in my name of user and password in Safari and then select never "for this site" when you are prompted to save the password, then the password is not stored. All I want is to store the passwords without AutoFill in Safari them! Thanks in advance!

    I understand that you want to keep your important passwords in haberdashery, but you don't want them to be autofilled using Safari. You can set the right to auto-fill your Safari app settings.     Change AutoComplete settings:

    Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click AutoFill.

    To enable or disable AutoFill, select the information you want to include in the auto-complete, uncheck the rest.

    To change or remove the information AutoFill, click on Edit next to the information you want to edit or delete.

    Important: Safari auto your information to anyone who uses your Mac with your user login. It also auto your information to anyone who uses your devices if these devices and your Mac have iCloud Keychain set in place.

    When I run Safari, keychain files are there open:

    ~/Library/keychains/login.keychain

    /Library/keychains/system.keychain

    /System/library/keychains/SystemRootCertificates.keychain

    I wouldn't touch the/library /... or bunch of/System /..., because it is likely that Safari would store anything in a global set of the system file, and PERSON DO should touch nothing less/system /...

    So that would leave login.keychain as the most likely candidate.

    dot1x in your configuration falls down after tx-period (max-reauth-req + 1) X that for you 22 seconds.

    AUTH MGR (the software that controls (dot1x / MAB / webauth) is probably set to restart every 60 seconds.)

    You can check this with:

    ' performance show all | b X / Y'-replace x / y with the correct port you are testing with.

    Look for the command 'restart timer authentication 60'.

    Try setting it to 0. If IOS doesn't let you change it, thanks for posting your version of the software.

  • 10 workstation online best way to keep the host offline and guests?

    Newbie question: Workstation 10 - have a host Windows 7 Ultimate x 64, several guests Linux Mint 17.3 (KDE). The machine is portable i7 with 16 GB of RAM. The network is wireless only (cannot use cable in current situation).

    I would keep the Windows 7 host permanently out of the network. The guests are online and used for web and similar access. What would be the best way to set up on the side of the network, assuming that it can be done?

    Well this is... depends on what you intend to 'offline' for the customer.

    If you are planning that the guests to be accessible from the outside (I mean through wifi to your host), the host has (?) to be somehow connected, so online?

    There is perhaps a way to restrict connections from hosts on the outside... so that web page in emails do not work, but the host is will still be able to receive a part of traffic in my humble OPINION.

    With my knowledge and my experience, I know:

    -You can connect a guest with his * own * USB hardware. I mean you can disconnect from host a WiFi USB (or USB ethernet adapt) card and connect it to a given host. So the host could be offline (no wifi, no ethernet), but the guest can be connected through the material, it will set up.

    -guests could communicate with each other via a 'host-only' adapter or a bridge (as your ethernet NiC).

    -When the ethernet NiC host is physically connected (and guests on her bridge), communication between clients is broken... but a software solution is to add a dummy loopback adapter to simulates network card is connected.     -Configure the * other * invited to use the above share under their gateway address (and DNS I guess?) and set up their virtual connection through the loop (you may need to manually change the address/subnet of the closure to match that of the shared connection).

    It's an idea to dig.

    Own a unique login prompt works for sure, but use it as a gateway to the other guests might be the tricky part (at least for me)!

    I've seen what happens when a guest is different, (if you use aliases in all other and Member in one so that it will invite twice, same limit). Make sure that all guests are correct.

    There is also another issue with the guests, sometimes they do not show the correct value, it'll keep the guests opened earlier. When he's with the guests, I always check a box, close the report, check then and so on. (while making sure that everything is good, it's just me is not to go crazy)
