  (1) right click on the Finder on dock icon and select the option "Go - To Folder."
  (2) you will get a text box, type in below mentioned command and then press 'return '.

  (4) double click on the Hosts file, it will open it with TextEdit.

  Let me know if you see any Adobe related as entries in the Hosts file 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com... etc?

I just upgraded my NSA3600 to version 6.2.0 to 6.2.2.1 - 14n and now none of my MAC OS x clients that use the Sonicwal Mobile Connect application has no DNS. You can test by IP and use NSLOOKUP to find the records dns, but if you try to ping or access what either by its name it does not work.

  I just got got off the phone with Sonicwall support and there is a bug in the 6.2.2.1 - 14n and they gave me with a firmware fix. version 6.2.2.1 - 14n-HF156864-1n and everything is in working order.

  I currently use InDesign CS6 and Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 on a Mac and I'm looking to upgrade to the full package of CC. However, I want to transfer my Adobe software existing from my Mac to my colleague Windows PC so that I can use the latest version and that he will use my what I have at the moment. The alternative is obviously my colleague just bought the last packet CC on his PC and I continue to use the older software. However, I use the software significantly more than my colleague, and so it makes sense for me to have the latest version, while the slightly older versions. I wanted to make sure it was possible to do before I went ahead with the purchase. Can anyone confirm that this is possible and relatively painless?

• Is a manual download for Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1 and 8.1.1 for Mac?

  I've got CS3 Design Standard for Mac, which for the most part works very well on Yosemite, but the problem is that the Updater does not work anymore, so I can't update these programs to their latest versions.  I went to CS3 product download and downloaded from there, thinking that it would give me the latest versions.  Download Adobe provides the original versions of each application, not CS3 final revisions (maybe we can't install final revisions directly, so they need to provide the original and leave the client to update).  So I have to need to download them manually.  Final revisions of Photoshop CS3 for Mac and Illustrator CS3 for Mac for reasons I can't understand, Adobe download section (updates of the product), but shows no Acrobat Pro CS3 for Mac download!  [Review for the PS works, but the AI patch cannot be applied; but I would at least be updated Acrobat Pro kick].

  ( However, even If it can ' t lies in the Adobe Download Center, also on their site there is a manual download for Acrobat Pro 8.1.2 ()Adobe - Acrobat Professional: for Macintosh: Adobe Acrobat 8.1.2 Professional update - English and French).  HOWEVER, I have 8.0, and we need to follow the path of 8.0 - > 8.1.1-> 8.1.2 The problem is that I couldn't find either of these intermediate versions

  Adobe has made great efforts to make it extremely difficult to do. They are really pushing CC. I found a page that seemed like the right page but when I go to the checkout, I get to an order review page that shows the product, sometimes the correct price, but there is no way to go further! There is no button to Proceed, or Next, or Transaction full at all. I tried for the last 3 days, using Safari and Firefox without success.

  HEY ADOBE - DON'T DO THIS SO DIFFICULT. EVERYONE IS NOT INTERESTED IN CC!

  OK - I realized what is happening and it's my fault. In Safari, I use 2 extensions; Ghostery and AdBlock. I disabled the two extensions and the purchase went through without incident. In Firefox, I lived the same problem and in Firefox, I think that I only use Ghostery... not sure. In any case, it worked. Thank you all for your help. I wish still Adobe did not make it so difficult to buy products like LR6 and CS6. I can't be alone in not wanting to use CC.

  I'm testing my new/first site.  I use Dreamweaver CS4. Horizontal Spry menu bar works very well in Internet Explorer and Safari, but not in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 for Mac 5.2.3 (5815.1). The menu bar horizontal becomes vertical and the submenus are not available. I ran to each Web page and my CSS files browser compatibility tests and they don't come back "no problems found". What can I do to fix the problem?  I have a PC (Vista) and use my neighbor's Mac to check the browser. Thank you.

  Don't worry if your site doesn't work at all in Internet Explorer for Mac.  It's outdated software that has not been developed since Jaguar/Panther.  In no way reflects IE on Windows, and statistics show the majority of Mac users use Safari or Firefox with Camino and opera in behind them.

  I currently live in China, with no practice of Geek Squad. I'm ready to push my eyes out with chopsticks.

  I recognize that I could pay Adobe $175 for help, but this seems a bit stiff on my salary. Is there an alternative? Is there another solution for my beloved Flash?
