Kobo reader app do not open or remove
I have a reader Kobo app on my iPad. Its icon is grayed out and is below the message ' waiting '. I can't open the app. I can't remove it.

I had exactly the same problem and support of Kobo has been able to help me with the following. Works fine now!
1. go to settings
2. General information
3. storage & storage iCloud
4 manage applications
5. press on the Kobo app
6 remove app
7 reinstall & sync.

What is the Mac version you are using. If you use 10.7 or higher then please go to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers and uninstall CC applications. Run the CC cleaning tool to remove the remains of ruminants: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html .
Enable the root account and try to reinstall: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11331.

Crossword NYTimes app does not open.

Last night, I've updated my Macbook Pro in early 2011 at the El Capitan 10.11.5 Cougar (Yes, the leap). Open all apps to check out them, and Facetime.app and Messages.app are not open.
FaceTime.app gives the message "an internal FaceTime error has occurred. There was a problem with Facetime. You must exit and reopen Facetime. "A few times. No change.
Messages.app: Last night after update, I opened it and gives the message "Messages is updated... The database of Messages is in the process of modernization, please wait until it is finished or Messages Quit and restart it later. "Allowed to do that during the night (about 7 hours). App reopened this morning and nothing went up, no new window, no error message, no light 'walk' on the dock; but, if you click on it showed the "Application does not message." After a few re-openings, it's the message even 'Messages is updated"as above.
I have not tried anything other than a restart.
Any ideas on what to try? Thank you in advance!
create a new administrative account, start to this account and see if open programs.
otherwise, open the Console.app (from projector to type "console" without the quotation marks)
clear the console log (clear view)
Launch the application
Paste the result to the console in this thread for analysis.

If you have not been able to
Settings - general - storage - Storage - find the app - delete
Do a forced reboot - after all open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.
Meet the sleep/wake and home buttons down until you see the logo - then release and allow normal start upward
Then re download the app

3 weeks old 9.7 iPad Pro, many apps does not open
My 3 week old iPad 9.7 Pro seems to work very well, but now many apps will not open. They crash immediately. Can I open on my other iPads, but not the pro wsj.
Try closing all applications, by double clicking the home button and drag screenshots upward and off the screen.
For any closed, press and hold the home and buttons power/sleep for 10 to 15 seconds or until the Apple logo appears, let the iPad reboots and see if you can open applications.

I use Steam to play games, I recently installed Trove which began to hang Steam (and not run) rarely when I clicked on the play button.

Restart the computer in safe mode. Some caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.
Safe mode is much slower to start up as normal. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.
If you use no FileVault 2 in OS X 10.7 ("Lion") or later version, you can restart as usual (not in safe mode) when the login screen appears. There is no need to log on in safe mode.
If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.11 ("El Capitan") or later version, or if you don't know if use you it, you as usual then connect in safe mode, and then restart (not in safe mode.)
If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.9 ("Swat") or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, request further instructions.

Photo 10 blackBerry app does not open
My z10 camera app does not open when I try, it displays as a blank page with a camera icon and then returns to the main menu. I tried a couple of times but no joy battery pull. Any ideas anyone?
lol, not a trick question... you can access the video camera separately from the Video folder.
If a battery pull reboot is not to do, you head back to the retailer.

My creative cloud app will not open. Updated last week
My creative cloud app will not open. It updated last week. It says program close app does not. I went to different menus to help and try to delete these files specified such as AAMUpdater, OOBE and OOBE1 and then start the creative menu cloud app. Have always the same message that "program does not - close the program." I don't know what to do now. Fortunately, Photoshop still works and I don't want to update now while there are updates available. I don't know what to do.
Finally, I put on my backup from 11/02/16 who had an older version of the CCA on it. After the backup, he updated and now it opens. Why none of the fixes worked? I lost last night and today all on it. It would not have been so boring if at least one of the fixes had worked.

Windows 8 Metro apps does not open
Windows 8 Metro Apps does not and can not access the Windows store. I tried Apps Troubleshooter who said that he could not solve the problem. I tried to do a restore. It is said that he cannot fix error. I read one post from another who says all this happened when they uninstalled McAfee. They believe that uninstalled McAfee deleted an important dll. My Acer Aspire also came with McAfee installed and I uninstalled it when the trial period has expired. I think that's when my problems started. The other user said that the metro Apps worked once they bought McAfee. Does anyone have a solution that does not involve the purchase of McAfee?

Windows 8 Metro Apps and the store will not open once again.
I was unable to open Metro applications and Windows store. I received help suggesting that I create a new user. It worked for a day. Then, I was not able to open Metro applications using the newly created user account. So I tried to create another user, with another email address and the password that is different. I received an error message that something went wrong and new account has been created not Code error 0 x 0070003. Then I removed the new user created the day before and I tried again. Same result.
I ran SFC/scannow and received the error message the Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details in Log/CBS.log. I was unable to open this file to view details - need to contact the administrator. My user has ability to administrator access code.
I ran Refresh and error message received: redraw of your PC problems. Has been no change.
What can I do so that I can access metro Apps and Windows Store?

I updated my iPad to 9.3.1 and now my recipe app (RecipeBook) does not open. Bad enough that I use all the time. Yes, I've recently backed up and sync my iPad, but I have never tried to replace the data stored in this app to these backup files. Should I wait (not so patiently) for Apple to issue an another "fix"? Or should I remove the app and do what?
Remove the currently installed RecipeBook app then re download from the App Store.
Tap and hold the app ReceiptBook until all applications jiggle then press the x on the app. That it removes. Press your home to stop jiggling apps.
Restart your iPad and then re download this app on the App Store.
It is rare to have to restore from a backup just for a problem with a single application.
Also, Apple does not update of iOS for the third-party software such as the RecipeBook app. It is the responsibility of the developer to provide these updates app RecipeBook.

Cannot access PC settings, Apps installs not opening and closing, updates
So... i started with a connection internet dropout. No matter how many times I've selected automatically connects it kept being changed. Used scans etc, found nothing. The problem then grew a slower connection and browser. I use IE and Opera. Opera is my default. A few days later I can't open all the apps without them immediately close it before they were properly open. I can't access PC to change the settings. I tried various solutions of MS and other Malware software. Both have had some effect, but not resolved the issue. I can now open apps, limited reach 95% of the installation of an update of windows instead of 0%, have the automatic internet connection... still have slow service, part 3 and MS preinstalled apps cannot be opened and no access to notebook settings.
Somewhere along the way 20 + new apps appeared, all administrative tools.
