  Thank you very much. Yes, the problem was exactly the same. Thunderbird executable disappeared after an update. I reinstalled it simply by downloading the configuration file. All my configurations and emails and folders, etc were in place. A great feeling to not lose everything. Again, thank you for your kind reply.

  The problem seems to have been fixed. When I checked to make sure that all the other modules are accessible, Lightroom 4 quit, rebooted and then checked something - "power point curves", went through a kind of internal procedure, after having whiuch the problem no longer existed. The error message was: "an error occurred when attempting to change modules." I decided to respond this way in case somebody stumbles into that.

  Can you open the Cloud application / peripheral settings/device profile and you will see an ID that is displayed there. Could you please post this here ID?

• W540 Option SATA (RAID or AHCI), disappeared after the update of the BIOS to 2.05

  W540 20BG001CGE, had 1.05 BIOS and RAID 1 with two 840 Samsung 1 TB EVO works well under Windows 7 - x 64. Do you have one (by lenovo recommended tool update) update BIOS with the Manager to update the bios to 2.05. Update went very well. After the reboot (and load defaults, disabling Intel Rapid Start, boot to BIOS option change the legacy of all first... I recognized the SATA (RAID or AHCI) in BIOS option disappeared. At boot time Intel Matrix Storage Configuration doesnot appear (where you can create RAID etc.).

  Startup then displays message "missing operating system".

  Downgrade BIOS 1.05 impossible, due to ISO file on www.lenovo.com support is not compatible, system message "Lenovo Group Limited - disc system not valid." Replace drive you and then press any key")

• Windows 7 Home Premium - all user accounts have disappeared after the update of Windows...

  My Windows 7 Desktop is really watered.  After a Windows automatic update, none of the user accounts appear in the login window.  Only a generic connection where you will need to enter the user and the password are displayed.  And when I enter the user name and password, I get a message that they are not valid.

  Here are a few additional pieces of information:

  1. I tried to restore to the point before the update, but it fails.  I get a message that there are missing files.

  2. my other restore points I had before the update are no longer available.  I don't know what happened to them that they do not appear on the screen of restore points.

  3. I can't log on to the computer at all, none of the accounts work.  I can get to a command prompt by using the repair disk, and I can see all the folders for the users.  So everything is intact.   Something must have happened to some system files and thus connect is not possible.

  4. users appear in the list of profiles in the registry.

  5. no windows service start because none of the users are no longer valid.

  6. I tried sfc/scannow, but I get an error "already waiting.

  7. I tried to add users on the command line using net and they are successful but even when they do not appear on the login screen and I can't manually type in these user accounts - I get the message that they are not valid.

  I tried searching online and I'm still not able to connect to the computer.  It has been 2 days of downtime.  What happened to my old restore points?  And why doesn't my restore points created by the work of windows update?

  I want to just restore from factory default, but I'm afraid I'll lose data in particular, all of the files currently sitting in the user folders.

  Any advice would be much appreciated.

  Here are a few comments:

  ->, I guess you have done this so that in the WRE (repair Windows environment). It is a ghost environment that disappears that you restart the system. Drive X: is a virtual, not a real disc.

  -> Many people are unaware of the need for regular backups (for example, weekly) until they are suffering from a major disaster.

  Suggestions

  Going by your description, I suspect that your existing accounts are irreparable. They need to be rebuilt. User data appear to be safe.

  Option 1. Use the console commands then in WRE to save all the files of the user on an external hard drive. A disk 2.5 "500 GB in a USB enclosure costs less than $60,00. After having tested the files on another machine, perform a destructive factory restore.

  Option 2. Start the computer with a boot of Ubuntu CD, then its GUI allows to save files to the user. It takes time to burn such a CD, but the copy process is easier. When you're done, do a factory restore.

  Option 3. A somewhat complex process allows you to create a new admin account, and then use this account to create new user accounts. You must then manually configure each of them (for example Outlook) and move their records of the old data to the new profile folders.

  There is also a method to restore old files registry of a set of backup files are a few days old. In your case I wouldn't consider as it would create a disjoint system: the registry files refers to a set of files that have been largely modified by the update.

  Post again if you need more detailed instructions for the option that you favor.

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3. for Storm/Pearl - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  4. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  5. return to the AppWorld. Connect to MyWorld (if there is one) and try again.

  • Download the Audio driver from the Support page of the drivers of your computer for Windows 10

  Uninstall the driver from Device Manager > restart (or search the hardware changes) >

  If the driver is available in your file system, it will try to reinstall it at startup / login >

  Check the results

  If no joy:

  If HP drivers are available for Windows 10 for your computer:

  Download and install the Chipset driver > restart and sign

  If the Audio driver is available in the Support page for the drivers for your computer:

  Uninstall the driver from Device Manager AND check the box to delete the driver >

  Restart and log in >

  Install the driver from the driver of your computer support page.

  Looks like that the Restrictions had lit so that the App Store. Go to settings > general > Restrictions and see if the App Store options are enabled under "allow". If they aren't, turn them on and your App Store icon again.

• Firefox has problems after the update

  Each time I update Firefox I end up having problems with it! My current problem (which has also been a problem before and never satisfactorily resolved - I have just learned to live with him) is the complete loss of my home page.   Hello JaneDoe1651, check if you have problems with safe mode.

  In addition, in the details of your system, it seems that you have a User.js file in your profile folder. The user.js file does not exist by default. If you create the file, forget it, if you have not created, then try to remove the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs to also create the file).

  This morning, I did a virus scan on my computer and since then have been no noise.
  When I went into the Control Panel, it says that I have no sound driver... What should I do?

  I tried to perform a system restore, but unfortunately it was off and so unavailable.

• I did updates in Bridge and Photoshop but now Camera Raw custom to treat my D610 Nikon RAW files.  I did the update this morning, ACR still does not.  Help!

  Help, please.  Last night, I did the update prompted by my subscription creative cloud and files where viewable and editable in Bridge and Camera Raw yesterday cannot be converted today.  Small thumbnails of some of the images are visible in the bridge, but not all.  And none are adjustable in Camera Raw.

  I restarted my PC.

  Still no change.  I did another update of the bridge and then restarted.

  No change.  I did the update to Camera Raw 9.1 then restarted.

  Still no change.

  It is huge for me time burden as I have jobs and assessments due.  Please tell me what to do.

  Support had me ctrl + alt pressed I open the bridge.  It has a reset option.  Once I reset and purge the cache location problem has been resolved.

• Albums Photos custom within folders disappeared after the update of the Sierra

  Before the upgrade to Sierra, I had created a lot of albums for specific events (file > New Album...) in pictures and placed them in folders (file > new folder). After the upgrade, all these folders and albums are now missing from the sidebar, but when I use the search box I can find and see all associated. Without having to try and remember the names of all these albums, is there a way to restore the folders and albums on the left navigation pane?

  my start page since always yahoo, after 33 of firefox updated itself, the page quite a bit bizarre, his yahoo but not as the ordinary classic. I can't seem to go back even when I cut and paste the web address off chrome or explorer, where the yahoo page looks like classic its normal self. WHY is it be changed in mozilla firefox 33? I know in firefox 32 it is normal, when I go in chrome or Explorer, it looks good and yet not flip over in my mozilla firefox even though it uses the same adresse_web. Its driving me crazy, please tell me I'm not the only one this has happened (today 15 October, 2014) and what I can do to heal/fix and do go back to the way it was.
