L50t-A-145 - angle which satellite is opening the lid?

Hi guys,.

I'm considering the purchase of a Satellite L50t-A-145, but I really need the cover/display to open at 135 °. The reason for this, I'm a DJ and have a Tablet laptop at 45 °, so with the laptop that I need the screen to go to 90 °, plus another 45 ° to take the screen vertically.

Can anyone of you let me know what kind of angle opened the l50 to? Today, it is difficult to get any laptop to exceed 120 ° due to the modern design of hinge, the real pain for all those who want to open more.

Thank you.

Operating instructions, you can find the info that the screen can be opened to a wide range of angles for optimal playback, but it does not provide the values accurate Angel.

My Satellite U500 cover can be opened at about 120 °, but Max.
I guess that the same values would be available for L50T too.

I can't resume automatically hibernate when I open the lid.
I have to press the power button.

If yes how to do it do?

It is the same with my Satellite P200 and I think it's normal. It is the same on my second laptop preinstalled WXP.
Putting into service is not automatically and after you open the laptop I have to press power button / stop too.

  • Satellite L10-202 begins after hibernation without opening the lid

    Hello

I have problem with start up after hibernation. When I close the lid computers go into hibernation. It's OK. But when I opened the lid it starts. Sometimes I don't even open the cover. I just take over and it starts.

It is not critical, but it's very uncomfortable because when it is in hibernation, and I take it and move in a purse or bag it lights. Is it possible to configure something he'll start when I press the power button / stop and not when I open the lid?

    Hello

As far as I know the Toshiba Power saver is responsible for the hibernation and the day before.
In this case, I recommend first reinstall the Toshiba Power saver.
    Check it out.

  • How do I place my computer to power on when I open the lid

I want my computer to turn on when I open the cover, how do I set this up

Hello and welcome to Microsoft Answers.

Most laptops are already built to wake up from sleep, if you open the lid, but there is a bit of a plug: it depends on the depth of a computer's sleep is in.  If the computer is shutdown completely and totally turned off the power, open the lid will not (usually) turn it on.  This would be the manufacturer which built computer (they will have to build a hardware device which detects the opening and then triggers the power).  Why WIndows can't he do?  Well, Windows is not running, so the manufacturer will have to incorporate the functionality of the physical case itself.
Windows peut wake the computer when he sees the open lid if the computer is simply sleep, because (without getting too technical here), even in "standby mode" there are still a few 'consciousness' to the rest of the system (Windows is, in some form of tiny, still active).
I'm sorry if this isn't meet your direct desire to turn on, but perhaps it sheds light on why this is the case.
PS. for what it's worth, I use only mode "Eve".  Unless there is an update requiring a full reboot, my laptop never actually gets "shut down."  Sleep in Windows 7 is very efficient and reliable, and I would recommend giving it a try.
  • Tecra R850 starts when you open the lid

    Hello

    I recently bought a 2nd hand Toshiba Tecra R850.

Is it normal for the laptop start loading Windows, open the lid?

I always perform a clean shutdown when I won't be using the laptop - and I always waited to push the button to start.

So is it normal for the laptop to start when I open the lid? Is there a substitution?

    Thank you
    Brian

I can answer myself. I went to the BIOS and there is an option for the laptop to start automatically on opening the lid. I put this to disabled.

  • How to turn off the wake-up upward after hibernation when I open the lid?

I've set up the power button to hibernate your laptop.

After pressing the button and wait some time to complete the process of hibernation, I close the lid.
But when I opened the lid to examine, for example, battery charge indicator, laptop wakes up.

    Very annoying. How to disable?

Why boring. I presume that you n t open the cover for nothing jut so you want to work with your laptop.

If you see options for standby power, you will see that the option says: when I press the power button. When I open the cover, there is no option called.

Sorry, but I think that there is nothing to do.

By the way: in another topic ask you on the eve of power feature. Have you found a solution?

  • Equium A100 - screen turns off when I open the lid completely

I recently had a problem with my Equium A100, as when I open the lid fully, the screen turns off.

However, when the half open, the screen is completely visible.

I have attempted to open the screen and can not see loose cables to my knowledge.

Any help on how to solve the problem would be appreciated.

I agree with Akuma. It sounds like a hardware problem and probably the contact loses when you open the lid.
The cable screen should be checked and probably replaced.

  • Satellite L455D - cannot open the lid

I got a Toshiba Satellite L455D-S5976 laptop for about 2 years. The other day when I went to check the daily messages, the cover has come practically out of it! I had left the laptop the night before waiting for things to download, because it takes forever for this laptop to do anything. I ve done before without incident, so I didn t expect something. Its perfectly fine opening (although the bottom, a keyboard and trackpad felt hot enough to burn me), but when I closed there was a sound of cracking type and closed the lid twisted.
A little freaked out by the break at random, I turned it around look at the back.

There was a piece of metal that comes out like a thumb at the back and a small piece of broken metal fell. I can t even open it now. I guess a part inside the laptop has melted and he does.

Is that what someone else had a problem like this or know what to do to get it resolved?

I n t have problem in the past but I think that laptop must be disassembled and checked what is the problem.
It is not easy to discuss these issues on virtual path.
The question is what you can do now. You can try laptop disassembly only, but if you n t have experience with this, it can be quite risky. Small error can ends with racks made of plastic broken or laptop Briefcase.

I don t know buddy, maybe you should seek professional help and communicate with the service of Toshiba.

  • How to set which page to open the

    Hello

Can someone tell me how to set the property (which one?) so the pdf document opens on a specific page?

I just can't understand how to use the reference. There is a GoTo, which is maybe what I'm looking for for (?), but how do I call/set it?

(no, it is not pageNum in the doc object)

    Thank you!

This can be set using JavaScript. What you can do, however, is to incorporate a script at the level of the doc in the file that will go to the page you want when the file is opened. The script would simply:

    this.pageNum = 0;

    (or whatever number you want...)

If you want to add this code with a script, use the addScript method, as follows:

    var goToPageScript = "this.pageNum = 0;";

    this.addScript ("GoToPage", goToPageScript);
