L730 - display driver satellite keep crashing

Hi, can someone help me? I have a laptop TOshiba L730 series
(Satellite L730 (PSK08L-07102V))

First of all, I reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit, then I thought that there is no problem about the progress of installation until something happened. I can't install the display driver (which is Intel HD Graphics 3000 or so I thought). Whenever I have install the driver, the installer asks for a restart, then I restart, then my laptop cannot restart, and it keep crashing. Can someone help me solve this problem? Thanks before

The laptop works properly without installation of the display driver Intel?
For example; You can use Notepad in safe mode?

If so, do you have what driver installed?
Driver Toshiba page provides 2 drivers Intel for Win 7 32 bit / 64 bit and win 8

    Hello

After awhile the driverupdate for a laptop will be reduced to a minimum. Righteous updates resolve the big problems that will come out.

This procedure is every time the same thing. If you buy a computer, Notebook, PDA for example.

But you can look for other cell phones ("most recent") with your graphics card in it.

    The Satellite 1950 801 has a nVidea Geforce4 Go 460 aboard.

I have this graphics card sought and found that Toshiba had made another series called Satellite 5200 (701,-801,-901).

Of course, you can watch if this driver is more recent.

But attention! I Don t give no guarantee that all series of perfect with this 'the driver update procedure '. We can dispense with the craziest things!

I know what I'm talking about, I have the also a Satellite 1950-801.

    Good bye

  • Display driver Satellite A100-211

I m satisfied with global updates on the software on my laptop.
But the display drivers are a bit old.
The last update for the display drivers for my toshiba model was on 06/06/06 and 30/06/06. It s what a certain month since then and error at ATI´s X 1600 mobility issues are multiplying the lack of display driver´s update.

I ve to the site ATI´s to download the latest drivers (and I chose correctly), but they are inconsistent and ATI said to contact Toshiba.
What should I do? It is usual to take so long to update display drivers?

Come on Ruben. The pilot is about 5 months. It s not very old driver in my opinion.
And why you want to update?

As much as I know graphics drivers of manufacturing are not the same, such as the Toshiba. The manufacture of graphics cards drivers are designed for desktop computers and not for the use of the laptop. The graphics driver Toshiba supports protection against overheating, because the card doesn t has a module of own cooling like on the desktop PC.

That's why you use the graphics drivers from Toshiba. If you want to install different drivers, for example the Omega drivers you can do at your own risk.

  • Satellite A500 - 1EE display driver keeps crashing

My display driver on your laptop A500 - 1EE crash now since I bought it.

Uninstalled the driver, rebooted, reinstalled... his problem persists, every two days, and even 2 times a day, he breaks down, but recovers immediately after.

Please help, because I don't want to send it in for service just for that.

    Hello

This is a typical problem for series a500 freezing and crashing. I'm also owner of A500-1dn, had the same problem who had disappeared after the update of a map graph to nvidia.com. But you know, this driver is not pretested by Toshiba and use it at my own risk.

  • My AMD display driver keeps crashing in some videos

My AMD display driver keeps crashing and stop any use of the computer for 5 to 10 minutes

    Hi Dennis,

This is not a question of MSE and not sounds more like a problem of malware.  Looks like a hardware problem or a driver problem or maybe even a problem of file system containing your OS files.  It could be the video card, the monitor or something else (even if it seems to be this driver I suggest that you update to AMD first to see if that helps - even if he says it works very well in the Device Manager and the version at AMD is the same version that you have installed).  He might even have to do with the settings or types of videos - is there something special or different about these videos and they come from the internet or from a CD/DVD which can also be part of the problem (there is not enough information to determine these things and the 5-10 minute thing is source of confusing).  In essence, it could be the driver, or there could be a conflict any affecting the driver (or corrupt files or many things).  I could walk you through some troubleshooting steps, but it is better that you get the help of people who specialize in this.  In any event it is not here.

If please repost to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/hardware?page=1 (but actually go first to the top and your version of Windows to reach the appropriate forum for your entry system).  Experts in the material problems and driver for your operating system will be a pleasure to help you and you will receive the best help from these forums.  They can refer you to AMD to help, but it is likely that they will be able to help you without it (and the problem may simply need new drivers from AMD or other aspects of your system) - but if they come to that point, they will send you there in time.  The accident likely causes an error message any (that's why your system to know that it is the AMD display driver).  When you re - post, please include the exact error message and everything Word to Word with all codes that can help identify the cause of the problem.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Why my display driver keep on crashing?

Whenever I try to play a game in full screen, the screen flashes black and there are black stripes. Finally, it stops, and the game ends. Sometimes, the computer restarts, and occasionally, the message "display driver has stopped working and has fully recovered. This prevents my brother and me to play games, which is what was intended at our new computer.

    Hi Jod,

To get a clear understanding of the issue, I want to know:

    1. What is the brand and model of your computer?
    2. You did it changes on your computer before this problem?
    3. Is that the question is only when you play games?
    4. Game in which you try to read?

  • Satellite X 205-Sli3 - display driver would not correctly work with SLI

I bought a computer to portable Satellite X 205 - Sli3 in the United States less than five months ago and I had a lot of problems with it lately.

It happens quite often that the computer crashes without apparent reason, for example when I use Skype, Windows Media Player, or DVD player. Moreover, as quite often happens out of nowhere, I get a blue screen error and the computer shuts down. When this happens, Windows asks me to reboot if I want to search an online solution, and he tells me that there is a problem with my NVidia display driver. I tried to reinstall the most recent available on the Toshiba site display driver (which is since last September, however and therefore not very up-to-date), but problems continue to persist.

Because of the driver problem, I am also unable to use the NVidia SLI technology, because whenever I have try to activate, I get either a blue screen error or computer hangs momentarily followed by the message: "display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. » ??

Finally, I can't put my computer into sleep or Hibernate. My guess is that it is also linked to the question of pilot.

Help from anyone in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards

    Martin

    Hi mate,

sounds like a hardware issue. It would be wise to send the machine to the nearest service partner in your country because you won´t be able to fix it yourself.
I guess it has something to do with the VGA card, or among the memory modules would not work as they should.

I can give you a link to find the nearest service partner in your country and them just contact them to explain your problem:

  • Satellite 2450-101: need last display driver

    Satellite 2450-101 with geforce4 420go - last display driver? Posted the: 7 May 06 18:12

My laptop does not work the games 'Fear' or 'Call of cthulhu.
The errors seem to relate to the display (fear gives an empty window, even if the sound is running, then crashes. Cthulhu says that it cannot find a suitable resolution).

The latest display driver I can find is dated 36,48 Date 02/12/2003 version.
It looks pretty old. Is no later versions available?

I also see that there is an update of the BIOS for my laptop - is - this may have an impact on the problem of game?

Anyone who manages to run these games on a similar specification?

    Thank you
    Jan

    Hello

The problem is that the graphics drivers from Toshiba are distinguished as the graphics of origin for example nVidia drivers.
Original graphics drivers are designed for desktop use and you may not use these drivers, as they can damage the graphics chip for laptop. Graphics drivers from Toshiba support thermal protection and control the performance of the graphics card.

As far as I know that this unit has been delivered with a NVidia GeForce4 420Go 32 MB graphics card. You can try to check out the other laptops with the same graphics card and try to use this driver.
I also found a few topics on the omega drivers. It seems that this could be a good solution, but if you use other drivers, so you can do it at your own risk!

Who knows what that you made or installed the last days.
You have this problem on the first day?
Do you use factory settings (laptop preinstalled by Toshiba)?

    Have you installed some games?
This happens sporadically or in a certain situation to you?

  • Modeling 3D (Sketch Up) programs keep crashing on the Satellite C660 - 28 d

    Hi guys,.

Obtained the Satellite C660 - 28 d to Christmas as my old laptop was dying on its feet. So far I've had no problems with it, except for when you use a selection of programs, namely Sketch Up and the rhinoceros are two 3D modeling programs. Strangely enough, AutoCAD Revit works great, I have imagined would have been more demanding on the system.

When Rhino opening he allows me to choose my model before crashing and displaying a message saying "Rhino 4.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close" and with Sketch Up I get again select a model but then a message saying "Google SketchUp has produced a bug splat and needs to close" followed by a similar error report form that never works when I try and send the error. This is happening on SketchUp 8, after having uninstalled and reinstalled SketchUp 8 and then uninstall and install SketchUp 7, all with the same result.

It has been suggested to me that there is an error with the graphics card and I have to download a driver, but the only driver on the Toshiba site that would make sense to me is the display driver, I have installed and makes no difference.

Please help me, I need the use of these types of programs for the University.

    Hello

It is possible to have these problems because of display driver.
You should maybe contact the software manufacturer and ask for help. Toshiba doesn't third party software support. Software maker has better experience with own product. I presume that what they have tested on different platforms and need to know what can be the problem.

    Hey Buddy,

    > 257.21 driver
That s not an official version driver Toshiba. The new version of driver for your Toshiba laptop screen is 8.16.11.8875.

You must install this driver because it s pretested by Toshiba.

Furthermore, I have read in the forum that the latest display driver Toshiba could solve the problem.

  • Satellite Pro A100-080: NVidia display driver's break in 3D games

    Hello

I have some problems with the display driver since I bought the laptop 9 months ago. I tried to install each new driver published on the toshiba site but no driver is running stable on my system.

The problem is that my laptop crashes with blue screen when playing 3d games and my windows vista tells me that it is the display driver causing accidents.

I had the previous version of the driver installed several months ago and I think it's more stable than the current version. Unfortunately I lost the files for that one, but I prefer a functional driver for this laptop.

I run my Satellite A200 with two monitors: standard laptop monitor and external monitor and my display driver (7.14.0010.0555 as says dxdiag) or 8.452.0.0 as the device manager says, crashes frequently and often.

The drivers is the last that I know.
    BIOS is the last too.

  • Satellite A200 - install display driver

    Hello

I have a Satellite A200 (PSAF6A 02Q01N) which has recently crashed after a Windows Vista downlaod. I managed to make a recovery disc and run it again, but now the resolution of the monitor is only available in 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600. That is why the screen is all tense and the resolution is terrible. I tell myself that I need to download and install a new driver and I think I found it. The firs ATI Display Driver listed on this page

    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/notebooks/satellite/A200/psaf6a-02q01n/download?OS=15

I downloaded it and guess I must run the installation of the BIN directory Manager. Can anyone confirm that it is correct?

    Thanks in advance,

    VIC

Stand by. If I understand you right, you have this resolution problem after installation of operating system using original disk recovery facilities.
    I understood you right?

  • Satellite A100-599 - question about updating the display driver

    Hello

I have a Satellite A100-599 with a NVIDIA 7600go graphics card and I like most of you Bioshock game crashes because of some problems with the graphic card drivers, no pb... Meanwhile, NVIDIA has released some new patches for the Forceware and after I double checked the database of the Toshiba driver support I've seen a new version in the list of display driver for WinXp.

One of them seems to be 13/09/2007. I have downloaded the drivers, installed them and then I checked the details of the driver in the Device Manager list and to my surprise the details say that the drivers are since 2006. I reinstalled the drivers and the same thing appeared. I checked the XML that was in archive of drivers and surprise... the drivers really are the 'old' of 2006. So my question is this: you have the display drivers for my model that work for Bioshock :D

    Best regards, Marian

I Don t know if we. I think it would be took a long while to ask every single user: Hey, you have a few drivers for blackmodjo? Ah, come on, please. Some of them... ;)

No, I have a better idea. It s like to cook a meal. Ingredients: DriverCleaner Pro and the www.laptopvideo2go.com site and... your your your TAAA patience

To get a good 'bio' meal shocked just follow this recipe:

    Reach
    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
read before doing anything (YES, even before you continue to BREATHE) the FAQ section on this site (RECOMMENDEDRECOMMENDEDRECOMMENDED)
and then download the drivers. Do it, Yes...

Then download drivercleaner by searching on www.google.com and THEN read their manual before doing anything else (Ok, you can continue to breathe..)
After reading the manual you will be something like:

    1. program start, do something, restart the machine
    2. start in safe mode, from this program, deleting... yadayadayada
    3. install the new driver
    3. reading of Bioshock
    4...
    5. No... 6 thank. me and give me your first born... ;)

So by cutting about 40% of my humorous things and following the constructive technical instructions from me, you will be able to play bioshock.

    Welcomes :)
