L830 satellite - Bluetooth cannot connect after installing Win 7

I reinstall (Windows 7 Home Premium) on my laptop PSK84V-02400UAR Toshiba Satellite L830, and install all the drivers, but after you install all the drivers, I can't connect any Bluetooth device to this tour...

When I search using the Bluetooth window it shows in the search window and after a while ' * could not detect the remote device * ' *... Kindly help... awaitng your valuable response.

Can you please post exactly details how you installed the software and drivers Bluetooth?
I think that you have made some mistakes there

Your laptop supports the Atheros WLan card. Right?
I think that this Atheros WLan card compatible with BT as well. This means that you need to install a special driver that allows to share WLan and BT in a single module.

This driver calls filter for Atheros Bluetooth driver package.
Therefore, install the driver Atheros Wlan, Atheros Bluetooth driver filter and battery Toshiba BT package.

Then BT must be installed correctly and you should be able to activate it in order to start the pairing process.

  • Satellite 2210CDT: two problems after installing Win XP

Hello! Maby it sounds funny but I found Toshiba Satellite 2210CDT inside my closet, installed Windows XP (oem supplied with the mouse, I bought some time ago) and it works!
The only problems I have are:
    * When the system is in hibernation, it is impossible to 'wake up' (I remmember in Win98 in this laptop there is problem);
    * I don't really have the tools provided with Win98 came with the laptop (ie.battery status and so...)

    Appreciate the help, Mike

PS sorry if I post in a bad place in the forum, but this is my first post (I hope you can understend...)

    Hello

Satellite 2210CDT is an ancient and you should be lucky that Windows XP runs on you laptop.
But this unit has been designed and delivered before the era Windows XP started.
I checked the page of the Toshiba driver and there is no drivers for Windows XP. I found drivers only for W2k and Win98.
Unfortunately, if you use the Win XP on your laptop you must do without drivers Toshiba, tools and utilities.

I found a utility to do Hibernation for Win98 on the Toshiba site. I think that this is a utility that is important to use the hibernation mode. But as I said, it is available for Win98.

  • Cannot retrieve the Satellite to factory settings after installing Win XP

I was running windows recovery then I chose 'delete all data... '. "something like that.
Then in the Middle by mistake I turned off the system.

After that, I tried to start windows so was in error "missing operating system". I managed to install WINDOWS XP, so I could access HDD RECOVERY but nothing happened.

I tried pressing the "F8" key and also the '0' key when the computer starts to "toshiba" logo but it is still not send me any option to get my computer back to windows vista or you can say "out of the box.

One important thing is, while installing windows XP its show me this HARD drive recovery exist and 973 MB is free off 5665 MB. This means that I have still all windows and the drivers on the HARD drive. Now please help to return normal system recovery or BOX STATE.

    > After I tried to start windows so was in error "missing operating system". I managed to install WINDOWS XP, so I could access HDD RECOVERY but nothing happened.

The installation of Win XP has damage and remove the Boot Manager and options preinstalled by Toshiba and backed by Toshiba picture.

This means that if you will be unable to retrieve the device using the drive HARD recovery option.

You could retrieve the device back to factory settings using only the Toshiba recovery disc! But I guess that you didn't create this disk is good?

Well, in this case, you can order this disc from here:

  • Cannot connect after install

I just bought a new SSD with the intention of doing a fresh install of Windows on it. I downloaded Windows 8.1 installation directly from Microsoft Media on a USB key. I went through the installation, and it seemed to work perfectly well. However, when I started to install programs, I am essentially impossible to restart the computer. When I do, it attempts to load the login screen, but it is completely empty. I tried to reinstall Windows, and I am able to restart perfectly fine right after it loads everything first... but every time I try to install anything (Windows, Chrome, graphics drivers updates, printing software, etc.) he comes back to the same problem when I restart... screen empty, unable to do anything, much less actually connect. It is the first time that has happened for reinstalling Windows and I am quite lost.

  • Portege R830 - problems of 3G connection after installing Win 7 32 bit

    Hello

I went down a Portege R830 Windows 7 64 bit for Windows 7 32 bit with drivers of Toshiba. I put a SIM from my provider.
In the windows Network Manager, 7 and in the Toshiba Wireless Manager I can see the right provider and HSPA network but when I start the connection, it does not (I don't have a PIN code).

It is failed with Windows 7 Network Manager and Manager Toshiba wireless (I don't have this problem with the Portege R700 windows 7 32bits)

But I found a small solution (but I think that's not enough):
    I have created a dial-up connection, with a number * 99 #,.
I started the connection, it does not happen, but after that, when I raise my first connection is good.

I don't know why, it's as if the modem is in sleep and the dial-up connection wake-up the modem, because after all is good (win7 Network Manager, Manager wireless Toshiba) so if I reboot the Portege.

I want to avoid the dial-up connection on my r700 portege with 32-bit windows 7

  • Samba75 USB Modem GPRS/EDGE cannot connect after installing Vista SP1

    Hi all

I have a laptop under Windows Vista Home Premium. I can't connect to the Internet using my right to Samba75 USB GPRS/EDGE modem, once I installed Vista Service Pack 1.

Any idea on how to solve this problem? Because of some network security options has been added by SP1 of Vista who refused to connect me with my modem?

    Kind regards.

    Hi Ken,

    Thanks for the reply.

I found that the services required to support the diap network are some corrupted how (in other words, when you enter Services, you can start/stop/restart the service. all options is disabled). I'm not looking for is the first cause, but I think so. FYI, I already turned off all firewalls including Windows Firewall.

I will fix this by reinstalling a new copy of Vista. Tired of the trousbleshooting.

  • Satellite U300 - no sound after installing Win XP

    Hello

I just reinstalled windows xp Prof today and upgraded to service pack 3.

Sound has worked well in the first until a reboot, no more noise.
A few reinstalls the drivers now, sometimes he says its all installed fine, other times it says no audio devices installed.

In both cases there is no sound...
Sometime on a restart (many reboots today) the sound suddenly came back to life, to die again at the next reboot...

Im hoping someone can help me with this problem cos Im leaving on vacation tomorrow and really need my sound ;)

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

You should on Windows XP two audio patches if you have a card high definition audio:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/835221
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/888111

These updates are in integrated SP3, you must install Service Pack 3 or the updates first, then the audio driver. So in your case, I would like to delete the sound driver, use CCleaner and then install the latest version from the Toshiba site.

    Good luck!

  • Can satellite A300d-16W - I use HARD drive recovery after installing Win XP?

I formatted my PC and installed XP. Can I reinstall Vista using HARD drive recovery?

    > I formatted my PC and install XP

No, you cannot use the recovery HARD drive after installing Win XP because looks like you have formatted the HARD drive and the HARD disk partition has been erased.

So you need to use the Toshiba Recovery disk that I hope, you created before you formatted the HARD drive.

  • R850-14 t - FN feature satellite lost after installing Win 7

    Hey,.

After Installing Win 7 32 bit, I had no functionality of FN.
I tried to find and also tried some drivers on the homepage, but I don't have the right one.

If some know what driver I need exactly?

    Thank you!

    Hi mate

Did you install VAP (value added package)?
If this is not the case, to do this. After that, restart the laptop and check the functionality of the FN button.

If the FN button would not work, install utility Support Flash Card which you could find in the box driver for other portable computer laptops; for example L500

  • Satellite A200-1AX: card reader SD and BT do not work after installing Win XP

    Hello

About a year and a half, I bought my laptop Toshiba Satellite A200-1AX and I'm very happy with it.
It had Vista on it. For this OS, my SD slot worked, but I don't know the bluetooth because I don't use it.

Some time passed and I removed Vista and now I have Windows XP with sp3.
All right, but the SD slot does not work. Bluetooth does not work as well and it is not listed in Device Manager.
I tried Toshiba Bluetooth stack, and when the installation reaches the driver part it does not move.

Here's a screenshot of my device manager:

Those with question marks is not supported by XP as I know, correct me if I'm wrong.

    Hello

Satellite A200-1AX belongs to the PSAE6E series.
It s equipped with BT module so after installing battery BT BT should work correctly, you need to activate using the FN + F8 keys.

    Regarding the housing of card reader SD;
You must install the Flash Media Driver for Texas Instruments. This is the driver for the Bridge Media Slot. This slot allows you to insert an SD card, Memory Stick (Pro) or xD picture cards.

By the way; the BIOS must be updated after the installation of Win XP. There is a version of BIOS (5, 60-WIN right now) that is specially designed for Win XP

    Good bye

  • Re: Satellite A200 cannot connect phone - no. Bluetooth

A few years back, I bought a Satellite A200 (PSAF6A-OWOOIN) running Vista, which my daughter has since upgraded to windows 7.

The laptop had previously Bluetooth connectivity for my mobile phone (not that I've never used),
However (now that I need) I can no longer connect, or even find any bluetooth software.

I looked for a download that is appropriate, but the only one I could find, would run/don't start not due to incompatibility?

I really need to be able to connect my phone to my computer, as we video we want to convey to the police on the disk.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

First of all, it would be really interesting to know if BT is enabled on this laptop.
You see a little BT icon in the taskbar?

What happens if you want to use the FN + F8 key combination?
This key combination toggles between WiFi and BT and activates / deactivates the connectivity.

In case you can not activate the BT or the icon does not appear in the taskbar, visit this portal Toshiba BT https://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/ and download and install the last battery Toshiba BT for Win 7

Initially I had win 7 Home premium SP1.

    I have a Toshiba satellite L450D - 11G PSLY5E.
I downloaded all the drivers from Toshiba on a memory stick from a source different and then installed on the Toshiba.

Then, I opened all the drivers one by one and ran each driver individually.
In Device manager there is a yellow exclamation next to the network controller.

I have a home network setup that I can connect to the net using phones, tablets and other portable computers.
The icon on the laptop says NO CONNECTION, NOT of CONNECTIONS AVAILABLE.

Y at - it a special order to install the drivers. I have install in the order in which they were downloaded.

    Any ideas anyone. TA

In Device manager there is a yellow exclamation next to the network controller.

Probably the essential WLan/LAN drivers are not installed properly.
Do you have problems with the internet connection using WLAN and LAN?

I recommend you to check if the correct drivers have been installed.

The wireless network card should be Realtek RTL8191SE 802.11bgn

Built in LAN module is published also by Realtek...

so in both cases you need a Realtek drivers
