Labour 845: double sided - second printing on reverse side

When duplex print the second side is printed upside down.  There until this time both sides properly registered.

There is very little ability to control the printer with the driver that controls the printer in windows 10.  I checked both the computer setting and the control panel.

I don't know what changed, but I have to be able to change the properties to allow it to print correctly on both sides.

Any suggestions?

The parameter, you need to modify Rtrn, you must return on the long edge.

Word 2013 can no longer print double-sided on print screen option. Must click on printer properties. This change in lunch took place last week. Anyone know why?

Hiya @LindaL1and welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

Your description, it looks like there may be an update that changed the behavior of Word. I understand the duplex option is no longer available in the print dialog box and you should now go to the properties of the printer to select two faces. Is it a problem when printing only from Word or any other program? If you find it very tedious, so you can try a restore system at a later date, but from the sounds of it, you still have the duplex option I would recommend probably leave as is and just get used to the change.

I would like to know if there is anything else with that I can help, and if it meets your needs, please click on the I accept button Solution below.

  • Photosmart D5360 - double-sided automatic printing is no longer works

I was very happy with my Photosmart D5360 and its automatic two-sided printing.  It was very convenient for printing multiple page. However, as the latest version of the software updates, automatic printing has apparently been cancelled.  One box comes telling me that for two-sided printing, I have to print the odd pages and then put the paper again for even pages.  However, when printing begins, it prints odd pages and moves then on print even pages on new document.  He no longer uses the automatic double-sided printing material at the back of the printer.  The only way I can get real double-sided printing is to print each page individually.  I put a page in the status bar, print the first page, then place it in the tray with the printed side up to print the second page.  Needless to say, it is very heavy and inconvenient.  Totally, it defeats the purpose to have automatic double-sided printing.  Everyone knows this?  Help, please.

Problem is solved.  It was that, when I went to properties and clicked on 'two-sided (Duplex) printing, it would automatically print double-sided.  Now, when I go into properties, I also chose "Automatically" under "print on both sides.  It still works, but they added a step more in the process.

  • Turn off double-sided Excel printing on Mac with HP office jet pro 8600

I see a lot of forums about this issue but no real solution.

I have a HP officejet Pro 8600.  I used to have a small HP but never had this problem.

I agree that in word, you get the box to uncheck if you don't want to double-sided printing. BUT when in Excel, you don't get the same printer option and I can't find anywhere to stop printing double-sided to Excel.  It's so boring.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks in advance

  • HP Pro 8500 Prime - double sided pages print out of order

When I try to print a document in 37 page color double-sided on my first Pro HP8500, pages do not print in the correct order.  It prints (page-homepage back) 1-2 (2 is empty), 3-4 (4 is empty), 5-8 (jumps to page 6 which is blank),7-10,9-12,11-14,13-16,15-18,17-20,19-22,21-24... you get the idea.  If I send the correct document even to my B & W duplex p2015dn laser jet, it prints very well.  The document is one of the Windows editor.

I printed several times in the past, so this is something new. I have no idea how to solve this problem!  There is a LOT of waste of paper and ink having to throw in the trash.

There is a setting in the 'last page first' driver, as well as (on one side printed), page 1 is on the top, so you don't need to mix all the pages. You have the choice of the "first page first" or "last page first". On the double faces prints, is not so important.

  • HP Color LaserJet M277dw MFP (: can't stop double-sided default printing)

How can I disable the default duplex printing? I disabled it in system / paper Setup / Duplex. Is there somewhere else? Other posts here say to go into the settings of the device - where is that?

    Hello
Follow these steps to disable two-sided printing:

Open the file that you want to print. On the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.

NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click Show details to display all available parameters.

Click on the settings drop-down list, it usually appears under the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    Select layout from the drop-down.

    Set the duplex as Off.

You can save the settings as a preset by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.

By default, the print job by completing these settings will remain until another preset is used in the future.

  • HP Officejet 6500 has MORE E709a double SIDED AUTOMATIC printing

    Hello
My HP Officejet 6500 a PLUS E709a printer allows you to print automatically on both sides and now I have to do it manually. I tried to implement the duplex preferences automatically and the option is no longer there. I use a Windows 7 operating system

    It is now more clear...

The HP Officejet 6500 has more (E710n) provide automatic duplex printing.

For some reason, you have a different printer driver to a different model which do not provide for printing automatic duplex (HP Officejet 6500 (E709a).

Be sure to remove the existing of the 6500 E709a by right clicking the icon. then click on remove the device and restart the PC.

Click Start > all programs > HP

Can see you the HP Officejet 6500 has more (E710n) listed?

If so, rnter this folder and click on reconfigure device / device update / update IP address and follow the steps to reconfigure the device.

If you can see only the HP Officejet 6500 (E709a) listed, it means that you have incorrectly installed software.

Make sure to remove the installed printer software HP through the control panel > Profgrams and features > uninstall a program.

Then download and install the appropriate software below:

  • C6280 issues with double-sided printing

    Hey all,.

For some time (we are talking years) I didn't relize I had a duplexer on my machine. I was doing the old-fashioned way: print a page, open the drawer, this page, return the program prints the next page, etc... One day I was flipping autour and saw print on both sides. I thought: ' Eureka, the answer to all my problems. " Evil.

After discovering that I had a duplexer, I was eager to try duplex printing everything and it seemed to work great.

However, lately things have been a bit wacky. For example, when I try to print something double-sided in Word, I normally go to the screenshot and select "print on both sides, back on the short edge," but lately the result is only the last page being printed. The printer prints the last page, it reverses and spits out a blank page on the other side. If a document that has 5 pages, for example, will result in page 5 only printing. This is also true for the PDF and PowerPoint. I have not tried anything else, or I don't remember anything else being sucessfully printed double-sided, I print from these 3 programs frequently. So as a solution, I found that I can go to the printer properties and select "printing double-sided (Duplex)", then "manual" selecing. It was also great to work for a period of time, print the odd pages and then I would feed them manually in the status bar. still a better solution to what I was accustomed to years (above).

    That was until last night.

I tried to print a PowerPoint Presentation two-sided document and some of the pages are out, that in a single page had a normal top margin, the following page may have a slightly larger margin, the page after that might a slightly smaller margin, etc... I thought that maybe the Fed just book funny and tried again. Results were the same. I tried to print a PDF file which also resulted in some pages being off. I opened the drawer, made sure the paper was stacked right and was about 20 pages, took off the duplexer and made sure the wheels were spining properly, unplugged the unit for one minute, etc... Nothing worked and it seemed to get worse because I lost paper trying to get to the bottom of it. Some of the pages even started to be printed in the correct order, as in page 1 and page 3 gathered front/rear instead of page 1 and page 2 combined front/rear. So I thought that it must be in the software.

I unplugged the printer, all completely uninstalled, rebooted, ran a registry cleaner, rebooted, downloaded the latest version of the software of HP and performed a clean installation, rebooted, installed the latest driver from HP, rebooted. I did this last all night and the approach seemed to fix the problem with margins. However, I still go on printing double-sided manually. Then this morning I got since I solved a problem, the automatic feeding through the duplexer should work. No joy, 'thing' has been up to his old tricks, only spitting the last page, as if the rest of the pages never made it to the printer. I even went to Devcies and printers > printer properties and I tried to put the duplexer as "installed". Seems that he likes to go back to "not installed".

Someone at - it ideas as to what my problems are?

    I am running:

    Windows 7 x 64

    4 GB DDRM

    Intell Core 2 Duo P7350 2.00 GHz

    Office 2010

    Adobe Reader 11.0.06

    I use HP paper

Network (but the problems occur also on USB)

Major changes other than windows updates not normal.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Well, I solved the problem. I played around with a bunch of parameters and magically it just started working. Do not know what settings or a combination of parameters does the job. Looks like it was just a fluke. Lets hope it continues to work properly because I like having the ability to print double sided without manually moving the paper.

  • double-sided, two pages per sheet printing.  Finally, there are two pages side to the bottom.

I would like to print double-sided with two pages per side in order to return to the page (as if it was required on the left side of paper).  This means that orientation is the same on both sides of the paper.

power out put, is that the back of the page's side to the bottom.  (as if I wanted to just staple the documents on the upper left)

Is this possible without going into PDF documents and manually turning every 3rd and 4th page?

(I have a Brother HL-2270DW with the lit duplex.  I have the latest version of the driver.   OSX 10.11.1)

You may need to change the printer to "Long Edge binding" setting to "short edge binding." My printer Brother (different) this setting is on under page setup in the print dialog box.

Therefore, if use you other printers on the Mac, once the reset is complete simply make sure printers are attached via a USB cable or connected network and (+) add hide them in. Do not add your HP Envy of return at the moment.

Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:

Open Macintosh HD and go to Applications

  • 7410 double sided printing

Well here I am again with printing problems.

I have a Mac Book Pro using OS 10.9.5, Mavericks. I managed to solve my problem of printing and scanning with the help of Shlomil. In addition, it helped me some time ago with a problem printing double-sided. Now I find I have the same problem with printing face double but am unable to follow his advice (which fixed the problem the last time)...

Now, the print face area two does not appear on the menu drop down print! So, I went to the following (using the latest tips provided Shlomil)...

"1. Verify duplex printing accessory has been installed correctly." To check this open system preferences and go to the Printers & Scanners. Open the print to your printer queue. Click Printer Setup and in the tab menu choose driver. Make sure that the box next to HP printing accessory (duplexer) sides. »

However, when I select "Open Print Queue" there is no 'Printer Setup' in the tab menu. So I can not check the "accessory of HP print two-sided (duplexer) is checked" (unless I'm doing something wrong). I and #2.

    2. on the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click on show details to see all available parameters.

    3. in the print window expanded you will find next to Copies the checkbox for duplex. Select the check box.
NOTE: If the check box does not appear in the specific application print dialog box, skip this step.

I skipped the step above, given that the print face area two does not appear on the print drop-down Menu (and no window available extended printing).

    I went #4.

    4. to select the connection type click the selection box below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    5. Select the menu drop down.

    6. set the duplex option as binding edge Long (Portrait) or binding Long Edge (landscape).

Now, I do not show a "binding" type in the page layout"selection on the menu drop down, etc.

Shlomil suggested if it doesn't reset the printing system. I'm really scared to do because I have 3 printers and a scanner in different places. When I chose the lower reset printing system to the low said he would remove all... all printers, scanners, fax machines, etc.

Is there a less severe alternative? I'm puzzled! This all worked before (two-sided printing, printing/scanning). The only thing I can think is at this moment I have correct permissions to update or a newer operating system.

    Help, please!

Well... I can't believe!  Please ignore my ramblings.

I have mucked in the things of the printer and 'Printers and Scanners' system preferences, selected "Options & supplies" rather than "Open Print Queue" and then choose "Options". The accessory "HP" box of double-sided (Duplex) printing lies. It has not been verified. Although I don't know how he got uncontrolled, I checked that and it fixed my problems.

    Thanks again

It should be an option to "flick upwards" or something like that when you choose "print on both sides", uncheck this option.
