LabVIEW 7 + c# + Windows 7 DNCompInfo.dll error?

Hello @all!

I'm new to LabVIEW but impossible to find a solution to this problem, I've had for a few weeks.

I had a C - DLL written or created in LabVIEW 7 provider. He also sent us a sample C access to the DLL for the project. The C-sample project works very well except the warning about a LoaderLock then access DNCompInfo.dll. This can be ignored and the code example ends with success.

Now, I tried to access the same DLL from Visual c#:

Using Windows XP everything works exactly like the sample C.

But if I use the same Code c# in Windows 7 still crashes the project! I really tried everything I could find on the web. I dynamically loaded the DLL and also accessed static. I've written a DLL-wrapper around the C sample. I changed the MDA to. NetFramework 0 as described in a post of LabVIEW. Everythings ends with the same result: System.AccessViolation.

But I can't access the ever-present function in the DLL of LabVIEW "LVDLLStatus."

Maybe I'll have a well-known problem with LabVIEW 7.0 and Windows 7? I don't know what else could be done to solve this problem, and I would be very happy if someone could help me!

Thanks, Jochen!

  • c:\windows\system32\storprop.dll error with USB

I had a problem with my USB flash drive (memory stick) that I bought recently.  I used a Sandisk U3 Titanium 2 GB flash drive with U3 technology.  I bought a Sandisk Cruzer 16 GB drive in addition to the another flash drive.  Now when I plug the new "Cruzer" it displays the following error message

    DEVICE SETUP ERROR
Windows could not load the installer for hard drive.  Contact your hardware vendor.

After clicking OK, the box NEW HARDWARE FOUND is displayed and when you select this option to locate and install the driver (recommended) it immediately returns the following:

    newdev.exe - incorrect Image
C:\Windows\system32\StorProp.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.  Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support.

From there, you select OK and he repeats the MISTAKE of the DEVICE INSTALLER and then displays the NEW HARDWARE DETECTED again.  This time, it says to insert the disc that came with the device.  When you select that you do not have the disk, it asks if you want to find a solution.  Then he said: it could not install your SanDisk Cruzer USB device.

At first I thought it was a problem with the "Cruzer" so I called SanDisk and crossed their tech support and finally, he recommended that I have to contact Microsoft as it was not a problem with their device.  This seems to think as my U3 device still works fine.

Today, I went to plug my new external hard drive Seagate through my USB port and has received the exact same guests and error messages.

I noticed also about a month when I inserted my SD card in my SD card reader, which is built into the laptop, I got an error message.  I went back today and he reinserted and received the same error messages that I described above.  I'm guessing that all of these mistakes probably revolve around the c:\windows\system32\storprop.dll file but I don't know what to do about this.  I tried looking online to find an answer, but could not find anyone else with similar information.

In addition, once all the error messages are recognized, then the devices can be used, however for the SanDisk Cruzer, it you cannot use the software of the U3 technology.

Anyone who can provide any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated!

  • Windows 7 Twain_32.dll error in Windows 7

I put it under "Windows 7 Pro Twain error" but no answer - so I'll try again.

I have a problem with a player wireless network Epson Twain_32.dll. With this scanner you apparently have no driver in itself if you seem to be impossible to remove the driver, you must remove the program from the list of programs and then re-load the Analyzer disk from the supplier program.

Whenever I do and then try to scan, I get "missing or damaged Twain_32.dll".

The provider insists that it is a Windows problem.

According to responses to other similar topics in this forum I renamed (rather than deleted) the Windows/Twain_32 folder and there is also a Windows/Twain_32.dll file that I also renamed.

I rebooted (cold) and get the same problem.

I see that somehow a new Windows\Twain_32 file has been generated, but is no longer a Windows\Twain_32.dll file C:\Windows\.

I am at a loss I can then do with this machine.

    Please help if you can!

    Hi Frank,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Let's try the methods below and check.

Method 1: Rebuilding the icon cache

    a. in Windows Explorer, open the Windows folder.
    b. remove all files starting with 'Twain' or "Twunk" (for example, Twain_32.dll).
    c. remove all files starting with "Twain" (for example, Twain_32).

    d. restart Windows.

    e. the icon cache has been rebuilt.

Method 2: Try to run the installation in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

Place your system in the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

    can anyone help please?

    Hello

Considered to be malware: please proceed with thorough and intense scrutiny for malware and if the
rest error message again the next message will show how to remove it.

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
    cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
