  Hello

  I am trying to determine if it is possible to use with the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module ActiveX controls.

  There is no ActiveX container on the pallet in the Touch Panel Module and I can't find any mention of ActiveX controls in the manual of touch panel.  So, I'm gathering that ActiveX is NOT supported on LabVIEW Touch Panel running on Windows Embedded CE.

  Can anyone confirm if the ActiveX controls are supported on the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module?

  You copy an image to the Clipboard, and then you do a right click on the indicator of the photo and select "import picture from the Clipboard. It's the help.

  I've written a vi which interacts with the CVT to pass values between the CVT and a bunch of controls on the Panel before which are accessed by reference. My project supports a front panel, if it is connected, then you can use this Panel to interact with the system. All the controls are located in a tabbed pane on the main vi running on the RT module, all the features are contained in a subvi, which accepts an array of references to the command input.

  It works perfectly in developer mode. Then when I deployed the controls were completely isolated: nothing has been loaded and initialized from the CVT, changing values of control had no impact on the system.

  For debugging, I provided a string array of all labels of control so I could see what controls is taken up by the Group of experts. So, I thought that the first troubleshooting step would be to see if the autonomous execution of RT filled one of them. After the creation and execution of this, everything lights up and works perfectly.

  It seems that to allow some control connected to that communication of the façade with a sub - vi RT VI must appear on the front panel. If this is not the case, the sub - vi will not interact with controls at all.

  In my opinion, it's a bug. Comments or details, anyone?

  Thanks for all your replies. For the record, while the 9068 has no Panel incorporated, it supports remote facades. I use this function successfully. The core of the code runs without a head, I didn't want the hassle of establishing a completely independent group on an external PC.

  My initial analysis and statement of the problem was wrong. I thought I was running in RT with group work, but actually worked by the developer. Even with controls and indicators highlighted the sub - vi the Panel was still Catatonic.

  Then I re-read the documentation OR on the facades. They clearly affirm that if application of the RT IS CONNECTED to a front panel nodes of property etc. will work. If this isn't the case, the program will still run but indicate errors for operations of property node. General error handling is not made for information only Panel stuff, so I have not seen the error.

  It turns out that I've been collecting all the controls at the beginning. Developing mode of the front panel is still there, so it worked. However, when the RT target boots and starts, it is impossible to have a remote façade connected, so my set of controls was empty.

  Movement of the control the value code initialization (just to get an array of references to all the controls in the component of interest) in the area of code that is run after the mouse click that activates the Panel did the trick. If there is no remote Panel then person can click on it, but if there is a front panel then all the controls are there.

  I have a large photo collection (I use iCloud library and have used so far nearly 600 GB).  I keep the originals on my iMac and we have two laptops (MBA & MBP) and different phones and iPad all share the collection of photos.

  The photo sharing/synchronization function largely-, but Photos provides no information on what is happening beyond a simple "Download x items" or similar messages.

  I had 'Download 2 items' for several weeks - and as I have a limited bandwidth internet connection/deal, much of the time I turn downloading (using the firewall software to limit applications can use the internet).  But I really want to get fully updated - if these 2 'elements' are something that I'm worried - and the problem is that I have no idea.  Photos is completely opaque.  When I have the firewall turned the amount of downloaded data is huge - I left it on overnight and in the last 12 hours the clouds process consumed 20GB of bandwidth (bottom) and like I said it was the download without erasing two weeks (on and off when I allowed him to use the internet connection).

  My iMac and the two laptops have the same status and all (when allowed) will use enormous amounts of bandwidth - without (in recent weeks) progress to have less to download.

  Photos need what some status information more detailed - maybe if I knew what were these two things I would choose to delete and not download anywhere - but there is no information at all, and even when they have downloaded I don't know what they were.

  Can it be true?  Pictures really this opaque - or have I missed somewhere useful information that I don't know?

  Yes, it's supposed to be this way.

  ICloud photo library is designed to keep any libraries updated and the same on all devices, so necessarily all photo will download to iCloud and all changes will be updated on all devices.

  On your Mac you can check, if you imported photos which can not download on iCloud photo library, because they are in a format that cannot be treated.

  Check if there are photos that can not download on iCloud photo library.

  It will find all elements that have a format incompatible and all referenced photos or videos.  Not all image formats can be used with iCloud, and referenced photos can also be downloaded to iCloud photo library.

• Remove the table for a photo table control framework

  I need to create an array of 2D images. Due to the large amount of elements in the array, the width of the image is reduced to a minimum. However there are still a considerable gap between the 2 adjacent elements in the table (see the attached example), which is caused by the picture in the image control.

  I tried to affect the color of transparent photo frame, but even if it is invisible, it is still there. I tried to customize the control too, but I couldn't find a way to remove the framework (for classic and modern styles).

  (BTW, for the control of classical style, there is an option without color box control framework, but no option for 2D image control.) I need model/photos inside the element of control 2D image, so simple color 1 color box is not enough)

  Could someone help to suggest a way to remove the frame and optimize the density of space in the table? Thank you much in advance.

  You should be able to define the lower field in the area of the image of the control.

  -Right click Control and choose "Advanced Properties"-> "Customize.."

  -To the editor change order to 'Edit Mode'

  -from the menu, click on 'Window'-> 'display the parts.

  -In the part window, select the frame

  -set new values for top, left, height, and width, so that the image is behind the area of the photo

• Called Labview VI cannot find its controls or subvi

  My application consists of:

  A standalone .exe that calls graphic VI containing generic and VI controls.

  My app works very well in the development environment, but when I deploy the secondary can't find it's the generic controls or vi (he uses the paths of the vi of the development environment).

  I have included these files in the .exe in the expectation that the sub called vi would know where to find them.

  Alas, this isn't the case.

  These controls and vi are used in the usual way, and not by "reference open vi" both trace band style operations are not an option.

  A simple solution is to insert multiple copies of them in the library of each auxiliary Panel under vi .llb

  These files are generic and used in multiple under vi, in the spirit of reuse and management of the code, this method is a bad habit.

  A single vi is a global variable functional, shared between both the appellant and vi.  Who will no doubt shock the code by the performer in 2 separate cases.

  Is there a way for the secondary sub VI to find it's generic controls and VI by calling .exe?

  In my opinion, it is an ugly workaround.

  In this example, the same control is present in 2 places, both in the .exe and the .llb

  -Perhaps you are missing the point - whether moving the LLBs in the folder with the file EXE solves the problem, then the point is NOT that there is a fix, the point is that something in the LLB is NOT available in the EXE file.

  If it is a CONTROL, then maybe it's a TYPEDEF control ' ed, and perhaps the possibility of DISCONNECTING the DEFINITIONS of TYPE kills you.

  I am having trouble with an app I'm trying. I am trying to create a UI that updates some indicators and sends an analog output. I use a state machine in queue and cannot understand why the control is not to release day.

  The problem is that you have the data sent in the queue on the valve Position value change event.  This is a Boolean value, you have on your front.  And since it is an indicator, you can never actually have a value change event unless you do it programmatically.

  I think you want that your value change event must be associated with the control of the 'value of valve Position".

  Two other comments.

  One, you must connect your queue reference in any event.  If you have not, it will be a strange situation program who will be met, especially when you add to your program that will result in data in this thread that leaves the structure of the event to be bland and set its default value.

  Two, even though I know you have some reasons for hiding and showing controls, have controls appear and disappear as it seems not be a very friendly user interface, whereas it is difficult to say how to make appear whenever you want.

  The default value is of modern controls and I always change to classic.

  I am classic and the classic controls are much easier to adapt to what I want.

  options GOTO and look along all tabs to find the place where the new vi is adjustable and modern controls by default

  But keep in mind only new i's, old vi must be changed in the properties of this vi.
