LabVIEW code

Can someone provide me with labview code to convert any format of file in text format.

Hello

Be more specific...  What do you really mean by converting 'any' text file format?

Looking for a kind of conversion software, such as .pdf text?

OR

Want to convert other types to a plain ascii file?

What do you want to convert?

"Any" is too ambiguous.   Because an executable (.exe) file is a file, and so are image files (ie: .jpg, .png, etc.), as well as his (.wav) file.  You want to convert those text as well?

Please explain what you are trying to do.

  • Complete mapping and the library of labview code order

I worked with a Schneider Electric M258 Logic Controller (PLC). I already used an Ethernet cable to connect, recognized as a device of TCP/IP network OR max. Recently, I used a Schneider Electric TSX C 485 USB cable to connect via a COMPOTE. This connection is also recognized in NI MAX, as well as the fact that I can actually open a panel of test VISA this way.

I'm looking for help step by step how to use LabVIEW to scan the logical controller for the command codes, it is used to control other instruments (heaters, pistons, etc.), can fill a library in a project, LabVIEW myself with these commands, so that I'll be able to control these instruments from my laptop.

    Hello

Unfortunately, there are currently no tools or methods for the analysis of the controllers for control with LabVIEW codes. For a list of commands using the PLC, I reference the manual for the device or contact the manufacturer.

Many instruments are prefabricated screw to control these instruments available on the NI Instrument Driver Network (www.ni.com/idnet) that were created by the manufacturers or other users. I searched for the Schneider Electric M258 Logic Controller (PLC), but sees not all drivers. If you are interested in a person having to create these screw driver for you, we have the Alliance partners who can help you with that. (http://www.ni.com/alliance/)

Once find you the commands from the manual or the manufacturer, you can develop your own screw driver for the device and, if you feel so inclined, download them to idnet. Information on the creation of instrument drivers for devices to use in LabVIEW in the following link.

  • LabVIEW code 3 error: could not load façade.

    Hello

I was the second time the "LabVIEW code 3 error: could not load before sign.» When you use the development of LabVIEW 2009 SP1 environment.

It's really annoying that I waste time as I have to go back to previously saved code.

Does anyone know where it comes from and how to avoid it?

    Thank you

    Pawel

    Pawel,

If the façade is damaged, there is little that we can really do about it. So the best thing is to make sure that the front will never get corrupted at all.

You can write a small VI using VI Server to check the position of the element in your VI. If there is way to positions of reposition before saving the VI.

Another reason could be much, duplication of controls (including the faulty XControls?)...

    hope this helps,

  • Try to use my computer LabView code to control 4 LED

    Hello

I'm a student working on a project at Boulder CU and I need a little help. I'm kind new to LabView but, I created a code that will create a random number, which one of the four LEDS will light, and then, if the LED turns off after a slide bar senses (accelerometer) a value greater than 5 (this value will change after certain data from the accelerometer). After this process, the random number generator generates a new number for a new light. I wonder how to tell the computer what LED icon indicates what LED to real life. Is there a way to connect my LED without changing my LabView code? I have to create a Wizard outputs digital DAQ? Please see the attached labview code and hopefully, you can help out me. We had major problems, trying to get our accelerometer to read a constant logical value and have just meet our problem of LED.

    Thanks, Zack

    Hi Zack,

your VI is somehow Award nomination for Rube Goldberg...

"How do you tell the computer what LED indicates which LED to real life."

Well, you have to decide where the "hook" these LEDs 'real life '. When you have made your decision, you will need some hardware driver to switch the LEDs. A Wizard of data acquisition can be a good choice when you use material. Otherwise, use the pilot to come with your hardware...

"Is there a way to connect my LED without changing my LabView code?

  • Vision Builder - error creating LabVIEW Code

    Hello!

I use Vision Builder 3.5 and LabVIEW 8.5.1. Vision Development module is also installed.

I've built several routines inspection with the Vision Builder. Then I tried to create .vi-files. Then I hit tools-> Inspection migrating to LabVIEW...

In the next box I select:

    1-version of LabVIEW: LabVIEW 8.5 - NEITHER Vision 8.5.0

    2 - the directory I want vi-files to be.

The migration begins, but it is never finished. There is always the following error message:

Error during creation of LabVIEW Code #3

I have not found additional information about this error code. So maybe someone is able to help.

    Thanks in advance.

It seems that the error occurs when you try to play a file which contains the parameters of control of that Vision Builder AI generates. This file may have been corrupted and Vision Builder AI fails to write correctly. I have attached a simple VI to determine where this file lives. Make sure that the file is not present before generating the code and that you have write access to this directory.

    Hope this helps,

    Brad

  • Calculate the intensity calculation of labview code

How to calculate the intensity calculation of an in terms of no. labview code. operations? Also please guide me how to find the number of fixed and floating point indicates the operations.

    Thank you

As far as I know, there is no tool to explicitly measure the number of operations performed under the hood. An option that could give you a more general overview of the complexity of your code using the VI Analyzer Toolkit. There are many tests that may give you some guidance on performance issues. • Use several versions of the same material and the same LabVIEW code

    Here's my dilemma,

I have many different s NI 9213 (16-channel thermocouple module) that I use in my lab. I only need to use one at a time, but I want to use the same LabVIEW code with each. I use NI MAX to create a task for the NI 9213 I use, but when I plug another 9213 OR in the computer I need to delete the first task and make a second tast with the second 9213 OR.

My question is, is there a way to plug in different s 9213 OR the computer and without having to reconfigure the NI Max tasks? If so, how?

    Thank you

    Maddie

Just use Concatinate String using the returned device name as well as the names of channel to build complete path name and then DAQmx create channel to add this channel to your task.

  • How can I use other companion DAQmax and data acquisition in labview code?

    Hello

I'm new in labview and want to combine four different codes of labview and run them at the same time.

I use my data acquisition PCI-6071E and BNC-2120. I want to send an analog output (flat DC signal) to control a blower, an analog volmetre to a (DC) output pressure transducer, also receive data from a pressure sensor and hot wire probe.

I wrote four different VI for each of them (using DAQmax to output analog and DAQ assistant for analog inputs) and each of them works well, but when I want to use them together they do not work.

Anyone know how to make them work together?

    Thank you

    Pooya

To the DAQ Assistant, simply follow the instructions for the selection of multiple channels when you create (where he says quite clearly,' ' or to select multiple channels "). If already created, open the DAQ Assistant and click on "Add channels" at the top of the page.

When you use a physical channel name, you simply click on browse instead of a single channel. Use the same or for multiple channels.

  • Need help with LabVIEW code for motor control.

    Hello

My name is Sasi. I'm a grad student BME working on my thesis topic of assessment for back pain spine implants. To do this, I'm building a test machine that would apply pure moments of a specimen of the spinal column. I use LabVIEW 8.5 to implement the control of a brushless AC servo motor. My requirement is

    Step 1: Initialize the engine.
Step 2: Start moving it to a uniform to the right PLAN (this value of RPM too user can enter).
Step 3: while doing step 2; at the same time read the couple cell data (acquisition of data using Asst.). DAQ o/p is 0 v to 10 V; 0 v is 10 Nm n
    10 v is + 10 Nm
    Step 4: What torque reached + 10 Nm, i.e. 10 V, the engine stops.
Step 5: from the position where the motor stopped (IE not need to return to the initial position) start moving in the opposite direction to the same
Uniform rpm as in step 2 at the reading of data in the cells of the couple.
Step 6: once more what torque reached-10 Nm, i.e. 0 V, the engine should stop.
Step 7: Repeat "Step 2" to the "step 6' 3 times.
    Step 8: Reset engine position.

So far, I managed to get the engine to move backward @ a desired vel, the accl, deceleration for 3 cycles before n n. I enclose my code. I have a problem inserting the code for reading DAQmx amidst all this. Can someone help me.

    Thnks,

    Sasi.

    Hi Sonia,.

I took a quick glance to your problem and I think I have a solution for you.  I certainly agree with the suggestion of the use of parallel loops Lynn.  This will allow the portion DAQmx run uninhibited by the part of the motion, and vice versa.  In addition, you need only perform an iteration of the loop of the movement whenever the voltage level exceeds a threshold.  Thus, by performing an iteration on the code of movement in the same loop are you iterate over DAQmx code, you essentially waste processor.

I created a VI that should do what you are wanting.  I tested it on me and it works very well.  You have a tweak a few things to apply to your system (such as motion Council DAQmx and physical channel ID, etc.).  I used two parallel loops and event programming.  Basically, the loop of movement starts the engine turns at the specified speed.  Once the engine is running, he expects the DAQmx loop to tell him that the voltage value has crossed the threshold.  When the voltage value exceeds the maximum threshold (I put a value slightly less than 10 to jitter and saturation), the DAQmx loop indicates the loop of the motion that it may end its iteration.  The motion loop stops the motion, causes a reversal and repeats the motion.  Once the movement has begun, he expects the DAQmx loop once again to tell him that a threshold was held, but this time, it's looking for a minimum threshold.  I used "Occurrences" to implement the event programming in LabVIEW.

I've commented the code pretty thoroughly, so I hope that comments will answer all remaining questions.  The advantage of using programs that focus on the event for this is that you save time processor, and your movement is more closely synchronized with the DAQmx.  Instead of one iteration of the loop of movement as fast as you can, updates every hour, you just put in pause and wait for the other loop to tell you when to start up again.  Meanwhile, the processor doesn't have to worry about an iteration of this loop over and over again.  In addition, when the accident occurs, you catch him immediately, instead of having to wait until the next iteration.  Thus, you are more closely synchronized with the DAQmx code portion.

I hope this will help you.  Please report if you have any questions about the code or its implementation.  Good luck!
