  I have developed and delivered a system in Germany several years ago.  He worked then.  But the cRIO was damaged and replaced by a newer model, and does not now.  I suspect (and Support technical OR agree) it's a problem of software version, which could be solved with the NOT-MAX Software Installer.  But I do not have access to the system myself, and correspondence is slow and tedious.

  The original system was a cRIO-9073, developed with LabView 2009.  He used the implicit Messaging.  The ID of Instance, sizes, IP addresses, etc everything has worked very well.

  The current system is a cRIO-9074, with LabView DURATION 14.0 (I guess that LV 2014), Scan Engine 4.3, NI - Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP 14.0.0, etc.  Programs FPGA and processor are responsible and seem to work in the cRIO.  The "EthernetIP Set Assembly Instance Data.vi' will return no error.  But the PLC just pointing out "(Code 16 #0315)" connection request error: invalid segment type "."  We looked at intellectual property (the mistake was different), sizes and body #s.

  The PLC doesn't have to all be modified.

  Anyone know if there is no problem of compatibility with LV-2014 and Ethernet/IP 14.0.0?  Or if there are all the other required packages?

  To help you 2009 application to work with the new cRIO, you must deploy it to the device. You must in order to deploy the cRIO, make sure it has the same versions of software that you used with the old cRIO.

  You can format the cRIO NI MAX and deploy the application of LV, 2009. However, if you do not have access to the cRIO or your client does not have the necessary software, you can deploy the application in another cRIO with software (cRIO same model and same modules as your client) and create a picture of it and send it to your customer so that it can deploy the cRIO even without the software on his computer.   I am trying to use codes for example for industrial Communications using DeviceNET. I have the 9882 OR on a chassis NI 9114 and 9014 controller. I have all the drivers for DeviceNET, RIO, Realtime/FPGA, ect. When I try to run any sample project I get this error:

  LabVIEW: Unable to load the shared library nidnetapi. *: ncWaitForState:C. to ensure that the library is present on the target of RT. MAX allows you to install software from OR or FTP to transfer custom RT target libraries.

  Can someone help me to identify the problem and how to solve it.

  I tried to compile in LabVIEW with cRIO 9004 and cRIo-9104 connected.

  It has three options

  (1) use the server local compilation.

  (2) to connect to the network compile Server

  (3) to connect to the service of LabVIEW FPGA cloud compile

  But I'm unable to compile my program using one of these.

  I am building an application runs on a machine without LabVIEW development system and connect via the network shared a cRIO Varibles (RT FIFO). I can successfully create an installer and EXE for PC and a RTEXE for the cRio. When I run on my development computer, the application is able to communicate using variables shared without a problem.

  But, when I install my application on another computer and connect the cRIO, I get the following error when you deploy shared variables when the application starts:

  Thank you very much for your help. The Variable engine OR has been and should be included in the intallation.

  I was able to get the application running. I installed the System Manager distributed on the PC without LabVIEW to control if the library has been get deployed. Using what I found that another device on the network use the same IP address as the cRio and so the IP address has been lying to the deployment, but the device has returned an error. I just changed the IP address on the cRio and I was good to go. I have not reproduced on both devices such as network shared Variables suggests on some positions, nor I needed to modify the ALIAS files on devices.

  and others I've read, I wrote a PC-side VI which FTPs a Source of RT dist. During my cRIO (9076), then use it "Run VI' method to launch the application.»  For test purposes, the RT VI has a call option to a simple VI FPGAS:

  

  With the FPGA disabled call, everything works fine.  With the call of the FPGA, the method of "Run a VI" in the code PC side returns error 1003: "the VI is not Executable.

  The cRIO VI works in interactive mode (front) with and without the call FPGA.

  Any ideas why this happens?

  I'm under LV 2011 on the PC and OR-RIO 4.0 on the cRIO.  I've included with this post project files if it can help.

  Well, it seems that I had accumulated a bad bitfile associated with the FPGA VI (there were 2 of them in the bitfiles folder, where only should have one).  The solution was to remove the old bitfiles and rebuild the FPGA of the project part.

  With the help of technical support NOR, I think we have found a solution. We uninstalled Labview from the computer. We have then reinstalled in the following order. 1 install the labview development environment in 2015. 2. install the real time module. 3. install the FPGA. 4 drivers CompactRIO. We installed these one at a time to make sure they were installed in the correct order, and it seems to have solved our problems. Thank you.

• Is it possible to have a multiple FPGA cRIO system?

  I'm curios if it is possible to have a single cRIO chassis that can be extended with additional FPGA for calculations. Which means, I have more I/O but I algorithms take too much space and need a secondary FPGA to perform parallel processing. Data would be generated in the first FPGA and communicated to the second FPGA where additional processing takes place and then a command/response is returned to the first FPGA which will then be sent through the IO.

  Although this solution depends directly on the SMU bus there the general feeling for what I want. However, I need this in cRIO. Is there a solution that I missed in my navigation of NI.COM?

  It would be OK if the solution uses one of the slots on frame cRIO.

  A cRIO chassis only has 1 FPGA on it.  You may be able to get an expansion chassis and pass data to it in order to do the treatment.  For what you're talking about, you probably want to add a few DIO so that you can directly communicate with the expansion instead of going through the RT chassis and the analytical engine.

  You can also get a cRIO with largest FPGA and/or your representative local to la OR the chance to see if you can get some time with a systems engineer OR that can help you optimize your code to fit on a single FPGA.

  I work with a set of Boolean buttons and when I call a node property for the button and try to set the class for the reference entry in a script of NI845X I2C or configuring LabVIEW 8.0 give me a tile of error indicating that:

  LabVIEW .exe has incountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.  I joined the main array with Boolean properties that I'm changing the class on.

  The main Boolean buttons are in a cluster and loop until one of the buttons is true.  While the index rose so I can retrieve the text of the button to bring the state machine.

  What you do makes no sense at all!

  Why you try to change the property node of a Boolean control to a class of N845x?  We do not have this installed class, so we will not be able to reproduce your problem.

  You don't have any kind of reference wire connected in these property nodes.  If you did not have a wire of the correct class reference, then perhaps LabVIEW would know what you tried to do and would not crash on you.

  If you dropped an empty property node in the palette of control of the selected Application class, it always crashed on you?

  What happens if you have disconnected the chain wire coming out the property text node, then tried to change the class, it would break.

• Backup failed with error 18: the backup drive is not found

  Hello

  My guard time capsule saying "Backup failed" for a few days and I cannot access the old backup files either (when I enter my time machine it shows 'today', which is kind of scary, although I know that my old files is still there). I tried many ways to trouble shoot this problem, but none of this has worked. In my opinion, it's more a network problem and I made sure I connect Wi - Fi even my time capsule created.

  So far I have tried:

  -Delete the files from my internet (com.apple.airport.preferences.plist; preferences.plist and NetworkInterfaces.plist, etc.) and restart my mac

  -Remove TimeMachine.plist and restart my mac

  -Hard reset of my time capsule. Went through all configurations with success but then still backup missed (I hear the running time capsule when it is by train).

  I share this time capsule with my wife and she has no problem with that.

  I can only think of a possible alternation I did which could cause this problem.

  Because of unstable WiFi problem, I had deleted

  com Apple.Airport.Preferences.plist

  com.Apple.Network.identification.plist

  NetworkInterfaces.plist

  Preferences.plist

  or other files and reboot my mac * before * I had this problem with time capsule.

  However, this is not the first time I do it, and it wasn't a problem before...

  This could be the reason? If so, how to restore the network settings?

  What model is the TC?

  Try to force the connection to 2.4 ghz using different names for the various bands... or even better to use ethernet.

  (You may need to buy love at first sight for adapter Ethernet... is an investment worth considering how unreliable wireless).

  Also give me some screenshots of the TC installing airport utility.

  Can you get it in the Finder?
