  • Lack of the developer toolbar

I see no longer the developer toolbar in my apex application. I login as an admin user and used to be able to see it. Is it possible to turn it on?

Also, on a related note, what format URL should I use to go directly to a page edit mode?, if it's even possible? I use the embedded pl/sql gateway, so my URLS look like http://hostname:8888/apex/f? p = 123:101:1369073988092846.

If your application requires no authentication, then you would not necessarily have seen the toolbar developer, depending on how you have invoked the application. If she did not sign but you logged on as a user who is not a developer/administrator apex user, then you also would not have seen the toolbar.

The 4550 application is one of the applications 'internal' apex which is part of the product. 4550 login pages, 4000 is the Application Builder, etc.

  • How can I prevent a website from the removal of the Favorites toolbar in my browser?

Is there a site that I need to visit for work reasons. Unfortunately the site deletes my favorite tools of Firefox and my menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc...). Is there a way to prevent this site to change my browser like that?

  • I lost my favorite toolbar, how do I get it back?

I accidentally deleted the favorite toolbar, and I can't find out how to get it back.

In Firefox 3.6 and later Windows, you can hide the "menu bar" by "view > toolbars" or through the context menu on a toolbar.

Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily.

Go on "view > toolbars" or right-click the 'menu bar', or press Alt + V T to select the toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to switch from the State).

I downloaded the yahoo toolbar because it was the only way to keep them. Done that got the red flag down there and got a pop up sign in French - pressed sigh in and keep lifting the same pop. I can't get any help for yahoo or Firefox on it, it's like they don't want to hear from us. I need my favorites, and they just can't get to them.
    Help, please

I'm not very familiar with MacOS, unfortunately.

Instead of using Yahoo for your bookmarks, if you can get the toolbar works on any browser, you can copy your Favorites from Yahoo to store bookmarks of your browser. On the plus side, no need for the Yahoo toolbar. On the other hand, your bookmarks are not synchronized at Yahoo to make them usable in different browsers.

Which makes the transfer is to export the toolbar (for example, in Safari) to HTML format and then import using the import HTML your browser feature.

In case it works without the toolbar, here's the URL for the page of export (from the toolbar US): https://us.data.toolbar.yahoo.com/v1/bm/tools?.intl=us

  • When I click on the bookmark icon in the Google toolbar that asks to connect you that I do, but still cannot access my favorites.

My OS is Vista Business and I'm on Firefox version 8. I'm using the Google toolbar and I have an icon for bookmarks, but when I click on it a message «Connect to access your favorite Google.» I signed but still cannot access my favorites.

The Google toolbar is not compatible with versions of Firefox beyond Firefox 4. If you override the extension for compatibility is enabled in Firefox 8, which will not work because Google has changed the URL to connect a few months before; who crossed the Google toolbar even further.

  • How can I restore Favorites button to the Bookmarks Toolbar?

I did all of the remedies detailed in helping restore the Favorites button to the bookmarks toolbar, but nothing helped. The favorite button is still missing from my bookmarks toolbar.

He disappeared last night when a few cosmetic changes appeared on my Navigation bar.

I had previously imported my Internet Explorer Favorites, but they are buried deep in the bookmarks menu and do not add a new favorite - so they are not practical to use.

If I could synchronize my favorites to my favorites, I could finally give up favorites in favor bookmarks - but apparently Firefox does not provide this possibility.

Disappearance of the favorite bookmarks toolbar button makes it practically unusable Firefox for me - unless I can find a solution.

I have no Add-ons and no new plugin that could cause this problem.

I solved the problem by a suggestion on the support Forum: I just exported my favourites, as a HTML file, from Internet Explorer 8.0 on the desktop. Then I imported the file Firefox by selecting import bookmarks in HTML... under the import and backup button in the toolbar of library.

Finally, I closed and reopened Firefox. There was my favorite button once more on the bookmarks toolbar.

  • How can I move my favorites in the menu bar of the bookmarks toolbar?

Once I upgraded my firefox to version 6, all my favorites that were previously in my bookmarks bar are now in the menu bar and the bookmarks bar appears just with no button. How can I move back to their own bar bookmarks? I would like to hide the menu bar.

    Thank you.

Make sure the bookmarks toolbar is visible and "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are always placed on the bookmarks toolbar.

If the menu bar is hidden, then press F10, or press and hold the ALT key, which should make the "menu bar" appear.

Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".

    • Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize" or "Firefox > Options > toolbars" and check the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are on the personal bar
    • If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the toolbar palette in the window the bookmarks toolbar Customize
    • If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" or other items which do not appear in the palette of the toolbar or a toolbar, then click on the button "Restore Default Set"
