  Win 7 automatically detects computers in a home network. With XP you manually add network.

  You can follow the same steps as before, but instead of the mode group computers work you must select "Add a network place" or "Set up a small home or office network" and follow the prompts of the wizzard.

  You are trying to access WiFi through router?  If you are connected to your wireless network, but cannot access the internet, then the problem may be with the router.  Check that the router is connected to the internet.  If you have more than one router, then you can ensure that you are connected to the correct router.  You can also try unplugging the router for about 30 seconds, and then reconnecting it.  Please consult the following document, as it can help solve the problem for you:

  I have windows 8.  I have two internet connections. A cable (wired) and another in the microwave (wifi).  Normally isn't a problem because desktop computers are on the cable connections and the TV, laptops and other toys are on wifi.

  But sometimes I want to use two connections on a PC, like download a large file and stream and watch the Broncos game at the same time. I want to use Ethernet as a main and did use WiFi when Ethernet is too busy. I can't understand how to do this.  Anyone know?

  You can activate the Wifi and cable connected at the same time, but you can use the Internet from one of them. The computer will prefer the cable if the cable is connected.

  If both are capable of providing Internet access, computer will prefer the wired (Ethernet) network to access the Internet (and not use the Wifi network to access the Internet).

  The advantage of using two connections is to get Internet access without interruption when a connection does not work.

  Configured the printer port IP address and now it is printing perfectly.

  Check the advanced settings in Google chrome. Can help reset the default browser settings.

  Why you can t replace your IP address?
  First to connect properly, check if you need a static IP address or if you get an IP address from your router (DHCP).

  If you use encryption, make sure you typed the correct password. Disable filtering of MAC addresses in the router to connect properly.

  Last but not least, make sure that you have installed the new firmware on your router.
