laptop does not recognize the hp printers in the configuration software

I bout a new printer hp 4632 and installation ok on my dextop using LAN and I tried the installer for my computer wireless laptop dv7 and wouldn't continue even if it shows the printer on the network. I tried to use the usb install / recognize the printer and still no. I have disabled the firewall to see if that helps and still nothing.  I've finally went to control panel and select printer and then add a printer and the printer ago added so no, I can print because of the printer was added, but I can't use the other features with my laptop because of the problem I saw during an attempt to recognize the printer during the instalation. its really annoying and I would be very happy if someone could help me solve. the printer, I replaced with that also had the same problem does not recognize my phone and it is a hp officejet j3600 series.

because of the frustration, that I finally decided to just format my laptop to fix. its formatting drive recovery partition and installed the software, no problem if problem not solved.

  • My laptop does not recognize the HDMI cable

I don't know if I posted this properly, but I would really like for you to tell me a little more about HP pavilion 1 TB of hard drives.

I bought a HP Pavilion processor with ADM 1 to less than a year ago. There was whisky spilled on it a couple of months before the summer, but I managed to get back to work and it was very good and stil in good shape.

A few weeks ago, I dropped the laptop from the desktop and it fell on a carpet. Isn't difficult, but not smoothly either. And it is always on when I got it up and working.

When I stopped it the laptop refused to start. I did a quick diagnosis to check the hard disk and it says already something with red letters.

I took the laptop PCs store and human a glance told me, the hard drive is dead and I need a new one fitted. "Everything is in good condition", he assumed, and I agree with him to change the hard drive.

I told him specifically to replace the hard drive with another 1 TB, but he subsequently advised me with good confidence that I was better with a 320 and buy an external hard drive. The laptop will work very well in terms of speed. He mounted in a 320 HARD drive and gave me back my laptop with Windows 7 ultimate.

Now, the laptop does not connect to HDMI and AMD catalyst is recognized not no matter how many times I install it. And honestly I don't know if the man really had something out of my laptop. The HARD disk he gave in return tells me his Samsung S/N: S34LJ9BG601601648

    ST2000LM003 A REV.

    PN:HN - M201RAD/M 2000 GB + 5v 0.85 A

Please tell me that it is a HP Pavilion HDD and how can I get the laptop to recognize the HDMI connection on the flat screen TV?

PS: I checked the amount of space to the new HARD drive that had been installed in and it said 297 GB not 320 GB. Am I missing something? Why can I not see all of the HARD disk if it is 320?

Sorry for the long discription, I stop here.

    Hello

first of all: what caddy do you use? Do you mean you´re using a cart of the USB - HDD or what?

    It would be really interesting.
Regarding this pilot thing: you don t need a driver for a HARD drive that has been connected for example hollow USB.

Also I suggest you do not use all the weird windows tools because it would be better to copy everything on your first HARD drive to the drive your computer to another HARD and then unravel and so on...

Please answer, since no one here knows what caddy you mean.

    Hi Chris,

First, try the automated Microsoft fixit at the link below.

If it still does not work, click on the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER.

sfc/scannow                (Note that there is a space between sfc and /)
