Laptop Energy Star - 15r210ne: cannot download and install updates with HPSA
It is a new old laptop in a few months. HPSA shows that there are many upgrades available, but when I try to update, just HPSA created restore point and connects with the HP servers only. Do not download or installation. As noted other support information, I checked the version HPSA and shows that it is the last (7-6-31-30). I downloaded and installed the updates of the last few months back from other countries before moving on to the India. Y at - it no sectoral implemented is necessary?

Have you tried to reinstall the program?
-Uninstall HP Support Assistant
-Restart the computer (restart, stop and then restart - just restart)

I followed method 2 and everything worked until I came to the command "net stop cryptsyc." When I walked in, I got a message error 2185 of stating, "the service name is not valid." Then I tried to go as "net stop cryptsync ' think the letter n may be missing, but that didn't work either.
I now reversed everything that I had done so far by replacing the word "STOP", with the word 'START' in the orders. This allowed me to re-enable bits and wuauserv.
Any suggestions on how to proceed to the order net stop cryptsyc ?

command net stop cryptsvc cannot run because of the syntax error.
You type the command: net stop cryptsync
The actual command: net stop cryptsvc

After I download and install updates for windows, I have to restart my computer. But on reboot, I get a message saying "failed in windows recovery configuration" maybe not in these exact words I don't remember completely.
I clicked on the button of my windows update and downloaded and installed updates "security update for windows 7 for x 64 systems based on" and everything is fine until I have to restart my computer. When the computer reboots, I get this message that says something along the lines of rupture in the configuration, the files back or windows. Can someone please help me here? I've tried everything I can think of and nothing works.
Can you try to start up in the Advanced Boot Options menu by pressing F8 during restart the computer? Then, select "Disable automatic restart in the event of system failure." I would like to know if it works.

Microsoft told me that I should disable my Norton firewall and antivirus while downloading and installing updates to avoid problems (I have dial-up access)
In msconfig when I remove the chech in the box for this program and click 'apply' the audit took place in the area and it does not turn off. If I then click on "OK" and restart it won't always turn off. I unchecked other programs and click on 'apply' and it worked.
I tried reinstalling and it still does not work. In addition, I can't change how it starts in services.msc

Automatically download and install updates is set, it is not just to do the job. I have literally click on install now for EVERY single update. I tried to put different time make this hope that would be "straighten" out there but... Thank you Ed M.

My computer ASUS laptop was originally a Windows 8.1 OS, and I used the latest version of IE as my browser. I then upgraded to Win 10 and used MS Edge as my browser for the last year, or almost. I know that Adobe Flash Player is embedded or pre-installed in Win 10 or an edge. I'm now migration to Firefox. I was able to watch the live broadcast in MS Edge (athletes on Canadian channels TSN and Sportsnet). Streaming live isn't working / start now that I use Firefox. I thought that since Flash Player is already "installed" there was nothing else I needed to do to watch the live broadcast. Query - do I need to download and install a version of 'fresh' Adobe Flash Player to work with Firefox, well there is a 'work' Flash Player who continues to work with Mrs. Edge?

Tried method 2 and that or the fact that I downloaded and installed KB867460 (.NET 1.1 SP1) solved my problem. After a reboot, run only Windows Update again and the software loading finally.

I had an incident that caused the corruptions of important files and loss of some programs. I was previously using Internet Explorer 8 and now IE7. When I try to download and install IE8, it blocks the download, runs for hours without having to download anything. Other programs are also not download... arrive almost at the end, they never end. In the past two months all of a sudden some programs no longer work and I can't install new programs.
Ex 1 that I downloaded and installed SKYPE and used it no problem, now I can't open it for use on my computer. If someone calls me, I can access and use it.
Ex 2, I can not install the Blackberry connection on the computer. I can download the program on my counter top, it starts the installation and then installs.
I did a restore on the computer last night to to back to September when things worked. This did not help?

2. do you get an error message when you try to install the Blackberry connection?
It is possible that another installed 3rd party program or application is causing the conflict with this installation. Also launch Skype on own startup and check.
You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow the steps as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.
