My router worked fine on my old laptop (a Dell Vista), he was sitting in a box for about 6 months and now that I have a new (Sony running 7) I can connect to my network, but not internet.   I suggest you to disable and re-enable the USB controllers:

  d. right-click the first USB controller under USB Bus controllersand then click Uninstall to remove it.

  e. Repeat step 4 for each USB controller is listed under Bus USB controllers.

  Note: restart the computer. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically check for changes on the hardware and reinstall all USB controllers that you uninstalled.

  Have you tried the Intel HM87 Express pilots they did not have much and drivers Intel ethernet with the same results.

For a month or two I get appears randomly in my audio using several 1/8 "cables to my speakers and headphones.  Now my problem is that the card is not to give me audio quality and it seems that I need a replacement. Its really quiet compared to normal and audio pieces of low frequencies and sounds just awful.  My laptop is an essential part of my work, so I would like to know what options I have to replace. First of all, I want to make sure that the card is replaceable quality even if not better. Secondly, is it possible for me to get the part sent home to replace me myself or maybe take in my laptop to the building to take only a short amount of time with her. I'm running on an audio interface I already owned for a long time, but it is inconvient for me to use when im to mobile OS. Please indicate all the options that I have new maps that will be filt with my current laptop (HP ENVY CTO 7300 dv6t Quad Edition Notebook PC), and all the options I have for the replacement of the card (remove old and replace it with the new.

  I understand that you have been troubled by Audio drivers

  • I recommend you update the BIOS by using the tool HP Support assistant or the HP website.
  • Once you update the bios > uninstall the current sound driver by using Device Manager > then use this LINK (ditto) to download the updated audio driver and that should fix this problem.

  I have a laptop HP G70 running windows 7, I got a new router installed. My computer to the router, but not to the internet links. I tried the software updates for my drivers running, doing all used to end router for example change etc channel/parameters/IP wifi. I tried to turn off the wireless, reset the router and re enabling it does not work.

  My laptop connects fine with other networks if it is not wireless.

  I'm trying to fix a HP DV6000 laptop that can't connect to the Internet. It is running Vista Home Edition. It will connect to my LAN cable or wireless network, but not the Internet. I checked a few things and discovered that the TCP/IP protocol is missing. When I try to add using properties of LAN, TCP/IP is not an option.

  Try these steps and check the result.
  Step 1: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) lease renewal
  a. Click Start, click Run, type cmd and click ok.
  b. at the command prompt, type ipconfig / renew
  c. Close command prompt.
  d. check the result.

  Step 2: Check obtain an IP address automatically
  a. open Internet Explorer, go to tools > Internet Options > connections > LAN settings > uncheck all boxes except "automatically detect connection settings.
  b. click ok to apply the changes.
  c. check to see if the problem persists.

  Step 3: If the problem persists, repair network connections
  a. see the repair network connections
  b. check if the problem persists.

• Work wireless, but not Internet

  I use a WRT54G Router.  I am able to connect to my home network via the wireless but no Internet on any of my wireless devices.  It works only via Ethernet.  The firmware version is v3.01.3.  Any ideas what I did wrong?

  Hi mullahraheil, to properly isolate the problem, try changing the name of the network wireless and communication channels. Try the channels 11,9,3 or 1. Try to reconnect. If the same persists, you need to maybe do a hard reset on the device and reinstall it from scratch.

  To make the correct reset, please press the reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds when the unit is turned on. Unplug the unit. Reinstall everything from scratch. Hope that helps.
