Hello:

XP is lack sata ACHI drivers needed to 'see' the hard drive of your laptop.

Please read the guide below, read the section of Intel.

Your laptop is the NM10 chipset.

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and-software/SATA-drivers-for-XP-solution-on-0x0000007B-BSOD/m-p/114120#M17758

I have attached the drivers you need below (under the attachments).

Unzip the file and the wake of these drivers and XP must install.

There may be a program that runs in the tray near the clock in the bottom right that controls the
device. Some Toshiba models have the keys of the map at the top of the screen (move the mouse all the way to)
up to see if your model has this feature) which allows control on some devices. Some models
have (usually indicated on the key cards) shortcut keys that control input devices.

If nothing else works, try Control Panel - double - mouse and other pointing devices - devices Manager
Click the device - driver tab - Disable. I would use this as last resort than the other options possible
allow you to activate and deactivate the device much easier.

    I hope this helps.

  • I've had several accidents with the blue screen noting CRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    Hello.

Here are some files dump of my crashes: http://cid-5cfec8d823e42bd3.office.live.com/browse.aspx/.Documents

    Here's what happens:

Since June, I've had several accidents with the blue screen noting CRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Yes, CRQL, no IRQL level), and they are producing at closer intervals. I also notice some changes of office and some sounds to open files that are not have happened before. I run antivirus and malware and found nothing. I did a disk cleanup and defragmentation.

I also tried to install via Windows updates and everything seems to date. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, and it found no errors. I ran Windows Startup Repair and got the following note:

    Root Cause found.

Unknown bug control: one error checking.

    Parameters = 0 x 0, 0x817dc32c, 0x820e8114, 0 x 0.

After the last crash, I got a message saying that Windows is aware of the problem and trying to fix it. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hello

Uninstall Faultwire and look for the codes manually as needed. The link to troubleshooting blue screen
page will show you how to get them.

How old is the system? A real computer store (not the leeks and glances at a Best Buy or other large surfaces)
Stores) can help to give a proper diagnosis of the machine.

You can use Safe Mode - repeatedly tap F8 as you start - use to back up your data in a redundant
way off the machine. Then re-install Windows that "might" help if the problem is software partner.
Of course, you will need to reinstall your programs and restore the data in the machine.

Although there are a large number of errors there could be a cause for all. Try to remove ALL power and
reinstall all the memory cards and cables (at both ends, when possible) - actually delete and replace.
do not just tight. Clean the dust bunnies (of course those who are for a PC - for a laptop to ensure that)
the vents are clear). Try using a small fan blowing through the vents to see if heat is a problem.

Update key drivers - display/video, NETWORK card and WiFi (network), sound (do not forget to check the sound card drivers
What update because they will often rollback then repeat the installation until the correct version appears), modem
and all of the other major features, you could have as 3rd party mouse or keyboard.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.

How to disable automatic driver Installation in Windows Vista - drivers

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc730606 (WS.10) .aspx

NOTE: Often restore audio drivers to check the version after installing and restarting is
see if the version you have installed is there, otherwise repeat the installation - restart until it is. This may take
several tests according to the recommitments how much he makes.

    Hope these helps.

I bought a HP Mini 210-1000 little more than one year. 1 GB of RAM. Win 7 Basic. Since only my son used and that occasionally, I never realized how incredibly slow, it was. Often, it takes 1 min for IE open a page. Even though I have broadband, I can't watch Netflix movies. I have disabled several programs in the menu of boot, run CCleaner, but it is still slow. When I check the Task Manager, it seems that 60-70 memory is used even when the CPU usage is 5%. I tried to tune up with HP Support Assistant, but when I click on update, it fails to update, fails to analyze or gather information. HP Support Assistant is only for products still under warranty? I think you will have to test it yourself.
As much as I know Toshiba didn t nothing said about Blueray players compatible Satellite A200.

The fact is that not all readers are compatible due to different master/slave/c-salt settings.
With the help of ODD is not compatible you will get an IDE #1 error and the drive will not be recognized by the BIOS.

    Hi Klaas,

It would be useful to know what the error message is when you get the blue screen. I suggest that you disable the restart automatic installation so that your laptop stops on the blue screen and you can read the error.

To disable the auto restart: -.

  • Mini210-1000 HP: HP Mini 210-1000 AHCI Support?

Title says it all, to a degree...

Nothing anywhere in the BIOS that indicates this thing supports AHCI, I so wanted to just take your brain...

If I install an SSD to replace the disk HARD in it now, will it work? Will I have AHCI/TRIM support?

Any contribution is appreciated. Thank you!

What HP model year cell phone is yours?   What is the model number on the black serial number on the bottom?

The one I have is quite old. I just checked and it's a HP mini 1000.

    Do not leave immediately.

I just watched a little more features. The manual may very well be wrong.

The most recent mini 210-1000 with product number WA543UA #ABA ad product name HP Mini 210-1010NR has a disk hard Serial ATA II (SATA).  If it is indeed this than yours, it means that a SATA SSD would fit well and work.

See the first part of the next video. Of course, it looks like a SATA hard drive for me. Check out the connector.
