  Control bug BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO occurs if the SYSTEM registry hive is damaged. However, this corruption is generally unlikely, because the bootloader, known as NT Loader (NTLDR) in versions of Windows prior to Vista, checks a hive for corruption when loading the hive.

  This bug check can also occur if some values and critical registry keys are missing. You keys and values may be absent, if a user manually change the registry.

  As per the error message "the drive where windows is installed is locked, unlock the drive and try again", I would refer to the suggestions posted by phanlon7 replied on 12 October 2013 in the next thread and check if they are useful.

  Use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem.  To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore.  Click on the box that says show more restore points.

  There is a problem with the KB3004394 update that causes what you see as well as other issues.

  Uninstall this update, your system should return to normal.

  While in Windows Update, select View Update History then installed updates. Go to the bottom of the list to KB3004394, right-click on it and choose uninstall.

  Microsoft has removed the update of the distribution.

  I would try to borrow a keyboard if you can so that you can perform the uninstall.

  I have a table that has a column named ID. This column contains the employee id, but during the loading of the files in the Tables, some records are contains various special characters. The sould IF contains number and hyphen (-) only. All other characters are special characters.
  
  I need to write a procedure/function, where I spend that id and check in the table if this ID contains special characters other than the number and the dash and remove it and then check the length of it (say 10).
  
  It should then resubmit this comment to refer to another ID such as "invalid ID".
  
  Can someone help me how to write the procedure/function with this feature?

  In CS3 and later versions, you can use this:

  have a Hp laptop, I have managed to change the keyboard accidentally and now when I type with the number lock some letters on keyboard etc not the letter that is the letter lkj type numbers become 123 of the normal keyboard.   You can try to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard software

  Step 1: Uninstall the keyboard software.

  a. click Start, type device in the search box, and then click on device in the list manager programs.

  b. double-click keyboard, right-click on the keyboard you are using, and then click Uninstall.
  c. restart the computer.

  Step 2: Reinstall the keyboard software.

  a. first of all, turn on the device, if you have to and then connect the device to the computer. Your computer detects the device and then reinstall the drivers for the device.

  A little more than a week, I sent my laptop DV7 in HP for the fixed sound, apparently the sound holes had gone wrong. After a week I get a support call telling me there is water or liquid damage not covered by the warranty, I want to pay $240 to get it fixed. I knew there were never water damage to my machine. I was talking with him and it came down to fifty percent to $117. I was not happy. But later, when I got the photos, I knew that photo of the keyboard with the tasks of water it was not mine. I called and this person has allowed me to go up the scale to climbing team. I was reminded and fees I paid with a credit card could not be charged or refunded. I was happy about it until...

  All these parts were bad, I could not have continued to use my machine without any problems for 2 days, and still less to enable a tech to enter my machine with the applet, I installed to see inside and to control. Everything that was wrong with the machine, I sent was scientifically. The machine they say is fixed is not mine. And, as I said, the picture of the keyboard water tinted / control pad almost looks photoshopped. It was not the machine that I had put in the FedEx box a week before. Everyone has heard something like that?  Still, this machine had no water damage ever while I had it. What HP service set hand on, it is something like this.

  I get a machine on Tuesday. I don't even know, after all that be my machine. I know I've had several stickers on the top of the machine, so this will be a test. Of course to find the serial number may be next, not sure about this. I always let HP go in my machine when I chat online to help find all of this information. But, my Lord, the photos sent to me were horrible. As something left outside in the rain for days. This machine has been wonderful and I never would have allowed anything to what HP said had happened. I'm sure, as I said, I would not have been able to use it for several days as I waited for the box so it's like the service center said and sent photos of. I am at a loss. All this would be just a mistake? Again, I will see Tuesday, April 1 and write here what is what.

  Disable filter keys can solve the problem. The question could have happened also because of some parameters of keyboard shortcuts which is related to the locking of the keyboard.

  Method 1: disable the filter keys and check if it works.

  a: Start type of ease of access in the search box and click on enter.

  b: Now, click change how your keyboard works

  c: Remove the check mark from the box next to turn on filter keys.

  d: Click on the blue link set filter keys

  e: Under keyboard shortcut, remove the check mark in the box next to turn on filter keys when right SHIFT is pressed for 8 seconds.

  f: Now click on Ok twice.

  Method 2: If the problem persists, you should contact the Asus technical support for assistance.
