  A month back, I bought a dell inspiron 13 7368. The touch screen of the last three days works randomly. Were not able to understand the problem. My friend who bought the same laptop is also faced with a similar problem. I tried the update drivers and also updated the bios but still no help.   I bought my Dell Inspiron 7537 last year only to use it for 7 months before the part of my screen went completely black. There are like 3 or 4 black lines which became bigger and bigger by the day. It was still in warranty, so I took my laptop to my dealer. Its been almost 5 months, my dealer told me that Dell refused to send a replacement screen first. When Dell decided to send a screen it was the wrong. Reference Dell claims now that they don't have the type of screen that needs my model and I have to wait, like 5 months is not enough. I tried to contact Dell without a bit of luck. I hope that get answers here or something. Sorry for my English is not my mother tongue.

  Hello! I am a student and I am planning to buy a new laptop for my regular use.

  I'm confused to choose between Dell inspiron 15 3521 and Dell inspiron 3542.

  I know that inspiron 3521 is an and 3542 old product is a new version, but I am impressed by the performance of the battery and the reliability of the inspiron 3521. But I'm skeptical if 3521 will have the warranty and support both as the same as 3542?

  and I found a very few differences between the processors, they have either 3rd gen i3-227u and 4th gen i3-4005u. And windows 8 can be upgraded to 8.1 for free.

  the main reason I am leaning towards 3521 is design and reliability and there 65WH battery were as 3542 is well-bulky and 40Wh battery.

  It seems that the 3521 is always available on the website of Dell India. The warranty is indicated under the pc as to how much time it is available. The two models seem to offer the same guarantee. You can always call and ask questions about the extended warranty.

  I have dell inspiron 17r 5721 i7-3517u 8 GB 1 TB Radeon hd8730m. Windows 7 Ultimate (first of all, I had 8 Win but I hate it like hell, so I send it there where it belongs - hell).

  Can anyone tell me is there a way to tell when my games using Radeon HD 8730 M instead of the Intel HD Graphics 4000? Because each game I played, the value of the graphics settings WAY TOO LOW for Radeon cards. For example the Sims 3 (not to mention it crashes without reason, whenever I play, it is not out of place I think that in this case). For example: resolution 1024 x 768 instead of 1600 x 900? Oh come on.

  Then remember that I can use only drivers from dell support. I could not install new to (because I see dell support drivers are not the newest) site Web of AMD and Intel without problems as constant flashing screen, or simply because during the installation error has occurred and it has stopped working.

  1. update the video drivers from the Dell (all VIDEO PILOTS) website

  2, install this the site of AMD ATI driver. (AMD CATALYST CONTROL CENTER)

  When you configure this new driver you get a new software with that tha name is:

  AMD game evolved... .use this program because this program to find your games on your PC and if you will be launched this program, games games will use a video automaticly ATI card...   (you can together optimise settings "grapichs" with some games, and you can't some other games, but don't worry... ALL the GAMES you want started from this program work)

  I have a hp laptop 15-E037CL and the keyboard is often insensitive and only some of the keys worked so we ordered a new and installed it when first of all, we put the new one in all the keys worked, but after a day it is only some keys work just like the old one. This computer has been cleared and reloaded and upgraded to Windows 10, we updated the bios and checked the support boards, but now I'm outta ideas. Does anyone have other ideas?

  All fixed, I took it out after watching a video on youtube on how to install the keyboard just incase I missed something. He was missing the little plastic stand that pivots up and down to maintain one of the pins and the Ribbon is folded out of wack. shook the computer until the plastic piece is out and put it back into straightened the PIN now it runs like a champ.

• G61 laptop keyboard problem - functions replacing does not properly

  I had a problem with my notebook G61 since the day wherever I got it almost a year and a half.

  I spoke with someone at HP Support today, and that's pretty much exactly what I thought.

  I was inadvertently hit a keystroke that activates the blue keys.

  The combination of keys is "Ctrl + left shift + right SHIFT", which turns on and the blue of the keys... Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee etc.

  Strike again and you get your appropriate keys, /? / ? / ? / ? "" "", etc., return.

• Driver for 2 GB AMD Radeon HD M 8730 does not work. Dell Inspiron 3521

  my laptop is brand new. 1 week and I cannot get my Radeon 8730 M graphic card work. laptop model is Dell Inspiron 3521.   I tried to install the original driver from the dell support page. I tried with the pilots of the AMDs website. I have installed and uninstalled the drivers at least 10 times.   When I run the catalist of amd installation configuration shows that all the drivers and the software is correctly installed and up-to-date, but Device Manager shows something else.  also, I have absolutely no option available in the catalyst software.  my windows system note (index) is 1.0 due to the graphic performance.   any ideas?

  I formatted the partition on the witch my windows was installed. re-installed windows and all the drivers. I started with the AMD driver but I was disappointed. It still did not work. then I thought, maybe there some co-drivers with some chipset drivers, so I downloaded and installed all the drivers. including the Intel HD 4000 driver. I think it was one that has not been installed correctly and the Radeon card because of the witch did not work.   so if anyone else has this problem, don't forget to uninstall the driver amd and intel driver hd 4000 and then install again, it should solve the problem.

• 2542 DeskJet printer to my laptop connection problems

  I recently bought a printer HP DeskJet 2542, who will replace my broken.

  All is well on the installation until where I am trying to connect my printer to my laptop, which has been frustratenly without success.

  I tried both wireless via the network and wired via a USB connection, but none work.

  After further investigation, I find that the software driver 2540 series for the connection between the PC and the printer is not yet installed, despite several attempts.

  I've repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled the entire printer software, but even when it says that the installation is complete, it is still unable to connect the printer to my computer.

  In addition... I recently discovered that my connection to a portable printer is going through "WSD Print Device" of windows, that was invites me via Windows Update for a software update... but whenever I run it, it fails due to an error in "300073EB".

  My laptop is a Dell Inspiron N5040 Windows 7-64 bit. Only the changes that I did is to double the RAM of 4 GB to 8 GB by adding an additional memory chip.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated before that I simply returns the printer to the back.

  Well... I'm happy to announce that I finally got my printer is installed properly, and that it works correctly.

  It turns out that the problem was a registry key corrupted in the records of the registry where are stored the drivers for my printer was blocking the installation. I had to delete all the registry keys in the folder where they were stored, and then rename the folder in my folder of spool where the concerned driver files were stored "disable."

  For those who are interested: here are the relevant steps I took:

  (1) Obvously, back up your registry database first just in case where.

  (2) temporarily disable the spooler to print through the Services tool in administrative tools (click the button 'Stop' after right click on the list of the print spooler, and then click on 'Properties').

  (3) to open the Registry Editor (by typing 'regedit' on your search to start bar) and then right click on "regedit.exe" to log on as an administrator.

  (4) using the left side nested directory of the folder, scroll to that folder in the registry:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-3

  (For machines Win 7 32 bit, replace "Windows x 64" with "Windows NT x 86").

  Find the subfolder under the location of the driver corrupted (in my case, "HP Deskjet 2540 series") and right click and delete it. (Note: you could also do the same to all the other driver files listed there, but you'd still have to reinstall services once you restart the system.) That's why you need this backup.)

  (5) then, get out of the Publisher of the registry, and using Windows Explorer: find this folder in your root (C:\) directory:

  C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3

  (This assumes that you are using Win 7-64 bit, 32 bit, replace "x 64" by "W32X86".)

  Rename the folder marked as '3' to '3.old '.

  (6) now go back and restart the print spooler by using the same procedure as 1), except by clicking the button 'start '. (If your print spooler is set to 'Automatic', however, you may ignore this process, since the reboot will automatically restart.)

  (7) Finally, reboot and reinstall your software print either by using the CD or directly on the site of HP.

  It may be simply that a previous installation of a previous printer corrupt keys enough that he was blocking the installation.

• How to disable the settings of automatic brightness on Dell Inspiron

  My laptop is a Dell Inspiron with i3 processor and the Intel HD Graphics chip. It has a 15.6 screen "and its model number is N5050.   I encountered the same problem and figured out what it was.  Registered to post the solution as I know how frustrating it is when you search Google for something and can't find anything but people ask the same question (unanswered).

  Right-click on the desktop, select «Properties of chart...» »

  Select 'Advanced Mode' and click OK

  Click "Power".

  Pull down the "Power Source" drop-down list and switch to "on battery".

  Uncheck the "display energy saving technology."

  Click on 'OK '.

  Is more irritating flashing display, Adaptive brightness, or whatever you want to call it.  In my humble OPINION, this is an annoying feature that should be disabled by default.
