Laptop of HP 2000: is AMD Overdrive Safe

I downloaded the AMD overdrive and when I got to the part where it says that he could cause the failure of the entire system and AMD was not responsible I'm nervous and uninstalled the program.  Never, I continued with the overdrive.  I just want to know if it is safe or not to: Windows 8.1, APU AMD E-300 with Radeon (TM) HD Graphics 1.30 GHz, 64-bit operating system.  I hope I gave enough information.  I'm not very computer savy and I'm scared to stretch the limits, but here a better driver for my computer.  Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.  ~ Amanda

Hi @GI_Red47 ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. Not something that is taken in charge. Tweaking the system could cause damage to the system.

Thank you.
