  Hi, so I recently got a new "XFX Radeon R9 285" graphic card PCI - E 3.0 and installed in my PC, I went to start it and the screen does not light. The PC boots, the fans run and everything just no display. It works with two other Radeon PCI-E graphics cards, but it does not start. 285 graphics card works in another computer, but will not work on this one. I tried to uninstall the old graphics card drivers and no luck.

  If it were me, I would XFX Service contact customer (800-880-3225) to see what they have to say about your problem.  It may be a BIOS problem.  They need the specifications of your computer.

  So I got a new (TG 640) graphics card for my pc. I tested it on another computer the day before. Worked well. I plugged my HP Pavilion 500-130DE and started. I changed my slot onboard DVI cable to the GT 640 and cable says no signal. While the pc was still on I switched the cable back to the integrated graphical location motherboard and got the windows login screen. So I thought that BIOS yet configured when the integrated graphics card (Intel HD 4600). I turned off the pc and booted to BIOS. But I've never seen a such limited BIOS before! Only thing you change is boot order. I saw a tab advanced but could not find the settings that I needed. In the only device manager devices that appears is the HD 4600. So I checked power is 300W should be sufficient for a map of 75W (only need the PCI for power). Someone knows how to fix this?

  Hey guys. I have a laptop HP Pavilion dv6-2155dx with a Intel Centrino Wireless - N 1000 wifi card. The card was to die for a long time now and about to go off completely. All other PCs and phones connect properly to the internet here, except that this laptop connects, but drops to around every 15 minutes, limited connectivity or so and I have to turn off the wifi and then turn it back on to operate for another 15 minutes.   The maintenance manual does not list a Centrino Wireless - N 1000 card. You must not only the correct chip, but he must have a part number of HP.   Unfortunately, the video card is unable to be upgraded in your model specifications, or most any other laptop by the way.

  The integrated video chip is soldered on the motherboard and it uses system memory. Video chips even discreet are normally part of the motherboard and cannot be changed.

  Recently upgraded to Win 8 on workstation HP xw6200 of my son.  The graphics (Nvidia Quadro NVS 55/280 PCI) card no longer works and I understand that this card is not supported.

  Can anyone suggest a suitable and inexpensive replacement? There are has four locations the same (we have the current map in), a PCI-Express x 16 (graphics) and a PCI-Express x 8 Prime slot * below.  Both are empty at the moment.  The * explanantion is 'PCI-Express x 8 main connector that has x 4 bandwidth'.

  I've never changed before PC components, but a google search suggests it is relatively simple... If this isn't the case, please also scream!
