laptop will not power
I recently bought a HP compaq presario notebook cq60 product #wa588ua #abamodel #cq60-615dx with Windos 7 home 64 bit version. I have not had any problems with him lately, I recently bought a battery 12 cells for him and came through the process of ttraining battery. I ran the battery last night, the power adapter is connected and turned off the laptop. This morning I pressed the power button and nothing. So, I read some of the forums and tried pressing the Windows key and the key B while pressing the power button, still nothing. I noticed that before power the laptop that the machine was getting power adapter so I'm assuming that the battery was charged after that I turned it off. I am not able to understand what to do but can follow the simple if anyone can give me a hand, simple directions or suggestions I would be eternally grateful. I bought this laptop cheap enough and it was supposed to show me if I really wanted to put out some serious $ for something a little more expensive and newer, I sorta got attached to this laptop and would really like to see if I can get this flattened question
Try removing the battery and then start Notepad with just the power cable connected.
If this fails, try just the battery with power cable removed.
If this fails, make sure the battery and the power cord are deleted & press on & press and hold power for a good 30 seconds, then repeat the above steps...

If it doesn't, try a startup repair and / or a system restore using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft
Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.
Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.
If a friend or working knowledge of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

Hi people!
Could someone offer a bit of expertise and tell me whether or not the series Equium A60 - 157 has a center pin in its socket? I need to know that my laptop doesn't have one and it will not power! I'm deeply frustrated because I paid at the time £999 and it doesn't work!
I have a feeling that the PIN has cracked and is now part of my dc adapter but I need to be sure before I get it fixed!
Also if this is the case anyone Kow how much it may cost to do fix an indicative maybe!
Cheers for your help!
Nick
Hi Nick,
Yes, I think the A60 use an outlet that has a central pin. The CAP at the end of the head of the AC must have a central hole. You can find that the spindle broke and is now stuck in the plug on the power cord. This is not a rare event on the series of satellites, laptops.
The bad is more Servicers will simply replace the motherboard (where the socket is together) rather than perform a repair to the component level. It is obviously a costly option for you, but is probably more faster/easier for the repairman.
I have, in the past, tried unsuccessfully to find a source for the plug for my A30 (just in case) but I only managed to find a supplier who could provide a component of second hand provided by a junk motherboard. :-(
Kind regards

K010 ENVY: my laptop will not turn off
Hello
When I shutdown/hibernate/standby/resume my laptop, it will die completely.
All programs will be closed (when stop or restart) and I think that OS will also close. But the laptop will not turn off. Power LIGHT and fan will stay on.
And when I try to Hibernate, everything is ok, but I have the same problem.
Whenever I have to turn it off by holding the power button, otherwise the battery will be discharged.
After manual turn off, when I turn it on again, everything works correctly:
-If hibernation: OS will continue to last situation.
-If start/stop: OS works normally without error or warning.
After sleep, OS works from the beginning. Because the data stored in RAM and will be deleted after power off.
Perhaps a portable automatic perevent equipment turned off. All the drivers are up to date.
Is there a parameter/software to check and fix my problem?
Thank you
Hello
You are welcome
On some machines, the pilot for 11 series IMEI has been known to cause that kind of question of the judgment, so it may be worth trying an earlier version.
You can use the following method to install an earlier version of the driver IMEI.
Download driver IMEI on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.
http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66001-66500/sp66228.exe
Disable your wireless card (should be f12 ).
Open your download folder and run the installer - it warns you that it is an earlier version, but simply continue.
When finished, restart the laptop.
If the computer shuts down correctly, turn on your wireless adapter and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the driver IMEI again.

HP Jet 11: Computer flow 11 Hp laptop will not charge
In two or three weeks, I noticed my flow specifications 11 HP does not load when it is plugged in - it always says "plugged not supported."
Other threads that I've read it seems that this could be something to do with the installation of Windows 10 (which failed, incidentally, that he was apparently not enough space, even if the laptop is almost nine!).
There was also a problem with the closure, which seems to have rectified earlier today; the power light remained on the same where I had been through the complete shutdown procedure. I have restored factory settings and this seems to have solved this problem but still the laptop won't charge, and even now I'm not convinced that it does not lose battery when it is off.
I did a battery check with HP Support Assistant, and who says the battery is 'OK' - it loads also for a few seconds when the control runs, which makes things more frustrating. I'm getting now worried because the battery is now down to 21%
I don't am not very focused on technique, then, what do I do? The laptop is still under warranty for even a few weeks.
(As the current state of things I feel very indisposed to bother with products HP or Microsoft, in the future, if I thought that HP were great).
I would be really grateful for any help at all.
Thanks in advance.

my laptop will not import my photos and my itunes doesn't sync new music
I'm not sure that the question is my Iphone 5 or the laptop. When I plug my phone both the laptop and the phone between them pick up and my phone syncs automatically, however, my phone always wonder if I want to import new photos and then once I clicked on Yes, it says that no pictures are available. Also when you try to import pictures on an app on the phone, he could not pick up one of my recent photos.
As well as what I downloaded some new music on my itunes on my laptop, however, given that I brought music apple songs downloaded on my itunes on my laptop will not sync and I don't know why. The phone syncs and always put my new music on the phone when it syncs, but it's their import is no longer automatically.
Thanks for any help in advance.
You can copy photos manually from the film. It might sound like a somewhat random Folders collection.
With Apple active any music that you add to your library becomes automatically available for you to download or listen to on your device. Music sync via USB, however.

Laptop will not start. Ran startup Memory Test-am failure
Failure ID:U0F323 - 66F722-9XNK1G-406 K 03.
Product ID: B8M97PA #UUF
MEMORY MODULE
Window7 as operating system
Any help would be much appreciated!
Hello
Try the following.
First of all, regarding the manual of maintenance on the link below--remove and reposition your bars of memory.
If the above makes no difference, and you have more than one Module of memory installed, try the following - if you have only 1 Module installed, try in the other available slot.
Again, regards to the manual on the link below, delete one of your modules from memory and then see if the computer will start. If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location. If it is still won't start, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to boot up normally.
The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed on Page 50 of your maintenance & Service Guide.
