  Acer with Vista has no problem with the download. I can download 1 MB in gmail, flickr, friendfeed.

The installation is cancelled. " and the installation is cancelled. We run CS4 on Windows XP & Vista.

  A patch to CS2 will not help a CS4 installation!

  If I understand correctly, you are using a wireless connection to the router. Have you checked the Windows settings to see if WiFi is turned off "to save energy?
