Laser Jet 500 color M551: 49.38.07 LJ 500 device error
After a sever thunderstorm and lightening, I have a 49.38.07 error code of the unit on the screen. How to clear and / or solve the problem? Could not find info on the LJ 500 M551 color printer. Power supply? Access Control Panel? Thank you.

It is certainly compatible with windows 8.1 and is very likely to work with Windows 10.

OK, I'm about to explode a joint here. I bought a new router and I have now the 100 HP Laser Jet color MFP M175nw problems to connect. I can connect and print via USB, but not wireless. I can see the printer on my computer in the Network Center and he has five bars of signal WiFi. I uninstalled everything and run the MS Utility and then reinstalled the software. I see by your post you are having problems setting up the printer on the wireless network. I will definitely do my best to help you.
Restore the default settings of the network printer.
- Press the Setup button. (key)
- Select the network configuration Menu.
- Then select default settings.
Print a configuration report to ensure that the IP address is 0.0.0.0 and the SSID is disabled.
Here are the instructions to set up the printer via the Direct wireless set up the printer on the network as the Infrastructure.
Turn the wireless directly on the printer.
On the printer, press the setup button, select (key) and network configuration menu, select wireless menu, select direct wireless and turn it on.
On the computer, in the lower right corner, click on the wireless icon, and select the printer from the list to connect to. Then open Internet Explorer and type the IP address (192.168.223.1) of the printer in the address bar.
This will load the web server integrated for the printer.
Select the networking, Wi - Fi on the left side.
Fill in all your information network, select infrastructure, select the name of your network, set password and encryption type. Apply the settings.
Click on the wireless icon and connect to your network name.
Print a configuration report to ensure that the IP address is valid. (192... or 10...)

For about a week, I have the following problem with my HP Color Laser Jet CP1215: after 2-3 pages of printing, the device stops abruptly in the middle of a job and the light number 5 (paper) continues at the flashing light.
However, the bin is full with paper.
Ignitions and extinctions help only for another 2-3 pages, then printing will stop again as described above.
Is there maybe a photoelectric cell that needs to be cleaned or a mechanical part that gives the status of bad paper from the paper tray to the printer?

I can see how frustrating it would be. To determine the cause, we need to use more than one document. Redundant that some steps may seem, I would execute all.
Please, try the steps in this these guides:

I have a very annoying problem with my print quality which causes the color to the burrs. Whenever I have print something on my laser jet CM6040 color it leaves a strip of color at the top of the page that spots and affects all pages.
Recently it was also printing this band at the bottom of the page that you can see in the picture as an attachment. It tends to be worse in the morning when I get to work and first print something and tends to be bad after sitting idle for a while. We have installed a new fusion kit fairly recently so would avoid buying another so soon.

Think about how the image is made on paper. The flow of paper to the top of the side of the printer tray and a secondary transfer roller moves the image of the belt (just the little strip of paper feeds more) in order to fill the document with the complete picture. If passed, then the blade may have corrected itself. If the lines are still present, the blade is bad and the belt needs to be replaced. The cost of the belt is high. You could contact a company like metrofuser.com that may or may not sell belt given to nine for your model see if they have your model in stock. The cost is generally 1/2 of what you have to pay for a new belt, but you will need to return the old belt to them.

SOLUTION - I bought a 1320n renovated on Amazon for £69.It arrived today. Like new! A bargain!
I am the owner of a color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro. I get updates almost every week, and the software update is very strange. I'm clicking on the update system, it takes a lot of time to meet up with the text saying I'll remove the actual update or add another device. When I say no, thanks, I'll get a message saying that my update was successful (but only if I have to cancel this message). I don't understand why I have to go through this illogical question. Also, I don't understand why it is not necessary to update very frequently, especially when there is no explanation of the reason why.
The two just exclamation points annoy me because I think that there must be a problem with the software, even if the printer works well.

I get the same Scanner Error 22 on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw like many others have posted. Tried uninstalling\reinstalling the software and tried the most common loading drivers but Scanner error prevented this piece of finish. Support and I was told we would have to pay $49.95 for them to help us solve the problem. We just bought this printer 5 weeks ago. Is this all we can try?
Thank you for your response. This solution does not solve my problem. HP customer service had travelled me several tests (took about 20-25 minutes total) but ended up sending me a replacement printer. It arrived within two days and so far, the replacement works great. HP has also paid to have the original shipped in return. The process was fairly hassle.
