LaserJet 100 color MFP M175nw: Laserjet 100 color MFP M175nw will not connect wireless - used to work properly

OK - I'm out of here.

I've owned a Laserjet 100 color MFP M175nw for awhile, and it worked perfectly.

Installed the software for 2 computers at home and everything worked well.

Last week, I changed the password to my router for the home network.

The printer showed as "offline".  I couldn't change the status.

After much trying I totally uninstalled the software, deleted the printers on my PC and reinstalled.

I run the installer - tell him I want to go and so that it can detect my wireless network settings.  (I also tried the option where I have to enter the information manually). All else fails.

Setup starts and then asks me to install the USB cable.  I do that and the installation program is going very slowly (I mean it crawls along) and wrote "Product has been detected", "Waiting for installation of the product at the end. Then I get a big red 'X' and it is said that it took too long to run and a fatal error occurrred or he tells me that it cannot find a product to install.  If I run the installer and say USB only, it works very well.  Ugh.

When I press the button on the front panel wireless and it flashes only and that's all.

Here's what I did - full power / turn off the PC and the router.  Updated the firmware of the printer used the new installer (all from the HP website).  Tried it on 2 different PC to ensure that it was not isolated.

The USB cable is good because after the failure, I can print via USB (I lost a forest to print the test pages).  Same PC and OS for both when I bought the printer.

Ironically, I spent several years in this DOCUMENT, so it's not familiar works for me, just very frustrating!

Well, I finally had it - realized that the WIFI adapter on the PC had to have the new password entered.

It was step 1.  Step 2 followed another post where I attached the printer directly via ethernet to the router cable, and once the IP address appears in the menu of the printer, I entered on my browser and the name of the router is entered, pw and managed to turn off the wireless printer on.  Then, by running the installer worked like a charm.  Woo-Hoo

    Help!

If there is no printer listed, this means that there is a setting on the network to which the printer is having a problem with. To resolve this please contact your internet provider or one that handles the router and ask them to do the following:

    1. Open all ports.
    2. Select multicast.
    3. Disable MAC filtering/MAC cloning.
    4. Disable the network of comments.
    5. Make sure that the network has a band of 2.4 GHz (gigahertz).

Please let me know the results after these parameters controlled.

    (1) open the command prompt window by clicking on the Start > applications > Windows system > guest.

    Type: net stop spooler

    Enter: net start spooler
    Type: exit

    2) open Windows Explorer and navigate to:

  • help - all my colors changed and will not change back!

    running cs3 on imac osx

make business cards, RGB mode.  colors are just right.   Then my printer tells me that I must give the file in CMYK mode.  so I changed to CMYK in Image - Mode, knowing that the colors would be different.  a printed version and Ugh, he hated; much darker and duller.  so, changing back to RGB Mode. and behold, the color did NOT change back!  I opened another file - one I had not tested with, which was nothing else than RGB.  and here!  She had changed too much in the dark and dull colors!

What in the world is happening?  Help, please

    Thank you!

I have my own customprofile that I use and use only, the opening of the dialog of the PS it is always set to printer manages colors.

That makes no sense at all. If "printer manages color", this profile is not used; It is all done in-house in the printer. You belong to the printer.

What kind of profile is and where exactly do you use it?

EDIT: To make this from scratch, what are exactly these three profiles in all files of the "bad":

1 document profile (find out by opening the profile dialog box convert and note what it says under Source space. Cancel out; do not fill in).

2 the monitor profile (find out by opening the color settings. Open the drop-down list under working RGB space and scroll to Monitor RGB and associated profile. (Cancel).

3 printer profile, if any. (This is defined in the dialog printing according to the paper, as long as Photoshop manages color).

  • M176n MFP: MFP M176n will not activate Web Services

I bought two MFP176n and tried to activate Web Services to print remotely. It does not work. The computer, I have access to the Services Web page on the unit IP address and use the button 'enable '. It run and run, but nothing happens. I see by a few points running on the screen on the printer. They're going to infinity.

As part of attempts, I've updated the firmware of the device - it's now at 20150228. This has not changed the behavior anyway.

BTW, I also tried DNS manuals with addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as suggested in a previous post. No change.

EPrint from mobile devices (Android and Ipad) worked on the first day, but only when she is on the LAN...

    Hello @andershl,

Welcome to the HP support forums.

I understand that your M176n will not allow Web Services.

    I would like to help.

Personally, I found that the Google DNS works best with inkjet printers.

For LaserJet, I use DNS of Level3 address.

    Primary: 209.244.0.3

    Secondary: 209.244.0.4

If Web Services are still not allowing, turn the printer off and disconnect the power supply to the router for about a minute.

Plug everything back in and turn the printer.

When the network has emerged again, try to enable Web Services.

  • Keith General, "Mac not connect wirelessly to my MFP HP Laserjet Pro 200"

My Mac was connected by USB, but I want to use wireless.  I have 3 other devices connected to my printer.  Is there a limit to how many devices can be connected to my printer Laserjet Pro 200 MFP with wireless?

    Thank you

    Keith General

    Keith General

    Hi @KeithGilabert

Direct wireless has a limit of 5 devices. If you connect devices to the network Direct wireless printers there is a limit of 5 that can be added.

If you have any devices configured to be wireless with a router, there is no limit.

  • LaserJet pro 400 m425dn mfp: mfp laserjet pro 400 m425dn will not connect to the network

I just bought a mfp laserjet pro 400 m425dn printer/phtocopier and I can't seem to connect to our network.  I have it plugged into the router and it says "cable disconnected" without an IP address.  I don't have the USB cable to configure the machine and I was hoping to do it via the network (which tells me is an option).  I don't know if that has something to do with it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The printer should be released the box set up using DHCP for addressing.

When plug you it into the router it should pull an IP address, if it is its cable disconnected then you might have a bad port on the router, a bad cable or a bad printer.

Plug something else into the same port with the same cable and see if it works, if you have a defective printer and need to return it and get a replacement.

You may also be able to find someone to replace the trainer who has the network port to it.

  • LaserJet M127fn MFP Pro: Printer not connected

Hi all trying in vain to connect the printer to a wireless router. USB connection to the router; router, Asus DSL N55U; configuration of the router page lists the active printer. That's all. Printer shows on self-esteem / Test as "unrelated", no IP address. What can I do to connect? Thank you very much for your time.

I have this issue sorted by myself earlier today. Here's what I did. I have reset the printer by cutting the power supply and leave it unplugged for a few minutes. I've deleted all the software my laptop prnter installled. As opposed to the connection via USB, I connected through the ethernet on the printer port to one of the four ethernet ports on my router. Then I powered and immediately noticed a light on the router indicated connection through one of the ethernet ports. My wife came running downstairs to tell me that she could see the printer listed on his iPhone. After a few minutes, I ran a report of connectivity, and it showed connection and TCP/IP connection details. I then installed the software. I am happy to say that he works all famous and we are happy campers.

    Thanks for your help.

  • LaserJet P1102w: Double-sided printing will not turn off

Even if double-sided printing is NOT selected in the printer properties, printing all ask for double-sided printing.  So if I go to print a single page printjob, the computer asks to have the blank page that was 'printed' just to get back in the tray.

How can I get this fixed?

    Hi @Skunkeeper,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you use a HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer with a Windows 10 computer and when you try to print a single page, the printer ejects a blank page and ten invites you to put in the tray, so the second side can be printed, even if double-sided printing is not selected. I would like to help with that.

This really looks like a software problem. I would like to start by running this HP print and Scan Doctor. It is a tool that allows you to diagnose and solve the problems of printing software and printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • Printer will not connect to color cartridge

I have a HP Deskjet F4235 all-in-one and it says that the ink cartridge has a problem. I just printed on it a few minutes ago and it is a new cartridge. It printed in color, but he had horizontal bars of colour in the pictures. I took out the cartridge and put it back in to see if it is just necessary to put back in and it said that there is a cartridge problem when I went to print again. I took again and cleaned it with a coffee filter and nothing still does not work. I have cleaned the printer using the troubleshooting on the site and in the Help menu and it did nothing. If you have any ideas on how I can fix this I would really apriciate, I really want to replace my printer right now.

I'm sorry you have a problem with the printer printer of the horizontal lines on photos.

You can try the link below, if you have not already.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01371219

You can also perform a hard reset on the printer. Unplug the power cord to the back of the printer and the wall outlet. Leave for 30 seconds and plug it back.

    Let me know what happens.

  • Since I installed Windows 10 to color in Photoshop will not. Any thoughts?

After you have installed Windows 10, color in Photoshop is false. Black and white look of the sepia photos and color are much too hot. I messed around with the settings with no luck. I am a user of PC using Photoshop CS5.

Windows 10 is known to replace the monitor with the profile of a builder profile, and they are notoriously low quality / useless.

As a temporary measure, you can assign the sRGB profile, which should solve the problem.

But the real solution is to calibrate the monitor with a standard material.

Press the Windows key + R, enter colorcpl in the text field and press ENTER, then set sRGB profile by default - see screenshot below.

  • NIC will not connect at 100 Mbps switch

I installed VMware 3.5 U3 on 3 HP BL460c blades. I am trying to connect to a switch of 100 Mbps for a VM networks. No network adapters connect to a switch of 100 Mbps, as well the NICs embedded or the NPI NC364M. The status of the env said simply disconnected, and it's not even a light on the switch. Connect a laptop to the NIC with a crossover shows connectivity when the laptop NIC is 1000 but drop down to 100 and the connect light turns off. Connection to a 1000Mbps switch works fine.

I tried to use the esxcfg-NICS command to set the speed and binary rhythm to 1000, 100 Full Full/Half and 10/half. No luck

I tried to use ethtool to adjust the speed of the NETWORK card to 100, but the results ' cannot set new parameters: function not implemented.

    The result of ethtool says:

    "Supported binding modes: 1000baseT/Full.

This means that the NETWORK card supports only 1000? I find it hard to believe that both the NC364M and the embedded NICs are experiencing this problem. Can anyone help?

It is a problem of capacity of the equipment. The network to blade interface is designed to 1000Mbps and this is how you will link with her.  Please consult the card of HP:

    http://h18000.www1.HP.com/products/servers/networking/NC364m/specifications.html

    http://h18000.www1.HP.com/products/servers/networking/nc373m/index.html

It is true, that they take over only 1 Gbps connections. If your 2960 uplinks are available, try them and see. Note that the interface of Cisco 1000 t is only 1000Mbps too - it is not just a thing of the blade. Optimized for connections of 1 Gbit/s do not always have options to speed restoration of the interfaces (i.e. 10/100/1000). It is particularly common in the blade architectures.
