LaserJet 1022 don't print Windows Explorer 9

LaserJet 1022

Windows 7

When I have updated to Internet Explorer 8 to 9, I can't print with my Laserjet 1022. This printer works with all my other programs.

I get the following error message: an error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 2126

Char: 1

Error: Unexpected call to method or property access.

Code: 0

URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js

It looks like IE9 dislikes the print driver for your printer. The fix for this would be to uninstall IE9, or use a different browser like Chrome or Firefox (both linked below). A solution would be to use a different print driver for the printer. These instructions are below. I don't know which driver will work as a good replacement then you may need to try a few. Hope that helps.

Chrome:

Firefox:

To use a different print driver for printers HP with Windows 7:
1. click on the start menu.
2 click devices and printers.
3. right click on your printer.
4. Select printer properties.
5. click on the Advanced tab.
6. click on new driver.
7. click on next.
8. Select HP in the first list.
9 select a Laserjet driver form the list. You may need to try several to find a working one.
10. click Next.
11. click on finish.
12. click on apply.
13. click OK to close the window.

    Hi HP community!

I have a LaserJet 1022 connected via USB to my desktop Windows 10 and it works great.

    Hello

Think the drivers (and their interactions), antivirus/security programs (and their interaction) and even the HP

you re-installed Windows - this is a guess, since you cannot check now however if you know that information
    could help.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this

  • HP laserjet 1022 does not wait for the user to turn the pages when printing double-sided

My Hp laserjet 1022 printer working properly for years.

So far, when he executed more paper he tried a couple of times to get more paper and then stops with a message on the PC it is out of paper.

Very annoyingly, this has changed recently, now when it is out of paper, he tries a couple of times to get more paper and watch the message on the PC, saying that it is paper and then again, try a couple of times to get more paper and again shows the same message on the PC and him back... This continues to go on and on.

It's especially annoying when trying to print double-sided. Before he used to stop and ask you to turn the pages to print the other side. Now the previous behavior overrides the break to turn the pages and keeps it will try to get more paper. As now, it does not wait for the user to turn the pages, in general it spoils the impression out by getting another paper that is not what I wanted, he drives me crazy! It's really hard to print anything double face now.

    All solutions?

Operating system is Windows 7, I just downloaded and installed the latest driver for this printer "2013-01-09, Version: 20120918" and I get the same behavior. In the properties of the printer that I put some State Messages to Off and at least I don't get the full windows message screen poping up every time the printer is trying again to get more paper. I have not found all the other parameters that may affect this behavior.

    Help!

    Hello

I solved the problem! I found the original CD for the printer. I uninstall the current driver and then install CD and now when the printer is out of paper trying to get paper a couple of times and then stops, as it used to be.

    Thanks for your help.

  • My HP LaserJet 1022 does not work with my new computer with Windows 7. Can you help me?

I just bought a HP p6803w CPU which runs on Windows 7.  When I try to connect to my HP LaserJet 1022 it won't work.  Apparently, I need a compatible driver downloaded.  When I tried to download the drivers on the HP site, it seems that one of the two was not installed.  Help!  I am an online student and desperately need my printer to work.

On my win7 64 bit system, I tested the drivers posted on the hp.com site and they load and print a page of test as well as Word and Excel.

The link is here: LJ 1022 driver

    Steps to load:

    1. download the driver

    2. click on run

    3. click on the "I agree" box and then the next button.

    4. Connect USB cable when connecting via USB port screen displays. You should get the pop up in the lower right screen that says: "install the software device driver".

    5. what pop-up disappears, drivers have been loaded, cancel on all other screens and the pop - up asking if you know you want to cancel.

    6. go in the devices folder and printers

7 find the HP LaserJet 1022 printer (must have a green check mark on it)

    8. the driver has been loaded successfully.

Make sure that all previous attempts have been removed from the device and printer folders AND you have restarted your computer.
