LaserJet 1022 don't print Windows Explorer 9
LaserJet 1022
Windows 7
When I have updated to Internet Explorer 8 to 9, I can't print with my Laserjet 1022. This printer works with all my other programs.
I get the following error message: an error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 2126
Char: 1
Error: Unexpected call to method or property access.
Code: 0
URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js
It looks like IE9 dislikes the print driver for your printer. The fix for this would be to uninstall IE9, or use a different browser like Chrome or Firefox (both linked below). A solution would be to use a different print driver for the printer. These instructions are below. I don't know which driver will work as a good replacement then you may need to try a few. Hope that helps.
Chrome:

Firefox:

LaserJet P2035 don't print PC programs
I have already used aa laserjet 1022 but improved to laserjet P2035. I downloaded the drivers 2035 etc from the CD. The printer does not have any internal progrm on my PC print. It allows to print 3 sheets of diagnostics, so I guess that the driver has been installed correctly. I turned on the PC on and off like a yo yo, but nothing of what I have done will encourage the printer to print any of my installed programs - HELP!

HP LaserJet 1018: For the printing window does not appear
This problem started recently. When I try to print on both sides, print the first side, then the little window that used to appear with instructions to remove and re - insert the page for printing of the second part does not appear. This means that there is no "continue" button click on because it's in the same window. So I can not print the second side.
Any suggestions on what is wrong and how to fix it?
Hi @msdop ,
I see that you have problems printing manual duplex, the window is not to come to continue to print across the page. I will definitely do my best to help you.
There are a couple different things you can try to solve this problem.
Restore your computer to an earlier time when everything worked correctly. He could be an update that caused this problem. Restore the system for Windows 7
Download and run the Print and Scan doctor. It will diagnose the problem and could solve it automatically. Find and fix common printer problems using the tools of diagnosis HP for Windows?
Uninstall and reinstall the printer software.
Uninstalling the printer software.

Frozen LaserJet 1022 install it on Windows 7
Hiya. Updated OS from Vista to Windows 7 (new HARD drive too). At run HPPDU.exe which only loops to lj1020-HB-pnp-win64 - in .exe, which hangs at "Waiting for user to connect to the device", which of course I did. Help.
Found the original original installation CD. Also moved.
You can use the Add Printer Wizard to add this device to your computer with win7 64-bit.
Click on Add printer
Add a local printer
Use the existing Port - USB001 (virtual printer to USB port)
The next screen is driver - left select HP - printer installation on the right, scroll down and select HP LaserJet 1020
Click next (do not click on the button to windows update)
Finishing on Wizard
You should have a successful installation and be able to print.
I tried the method above twice and succeeded both times.

I tried to delete the printer, newer software (lj1020-HB-pnp-WIN64-en) download and try to install it, add the printer through windows and even the printer will not work. The cd version will work until you are asked to connect the printer and then nothing happens. I even tried to run overnight to see if it find and install, but nothing happened. This printer is a workhorse for me and I want to keep running, any suggestions on getting this printer is recognized and run again?
See if the 1022 is listed under other devices in Device Manager.
Under 'Other devices' right-click on HP 1022
Select "update driver software... »
Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
Choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
Select 'Printers' > next
Under the "factory" > HP
Under "Printers" > HP Laserjet 1020
Select "Yes" to the warning popup -
I tried several times to use the original installation disc, the latest version of the software driver hp Forum, etc. All with no luck. And now, of course, my host system is all messed up with installs partial. I know it works because I saw another W7 - 64 box to connect to the same XP machine via the network. I need measures to clean first the disorder of my current box then the steps to connect to the printer on the XP machine over the network. This is similar to a question last may, who seems to have been abandoned.
Poster 8lives gives the following solution in another thread:
On the Win 7 computer...
Devices and printers
Add a printer
Add a local printer
Select create a new port:
Select Local Port for the port Type:
Enter the name of the network to the XP computer that is. \\XPcomputername\LJprinterid
Install the LaserJet 1020 driver when prompted
This did it for me.

I love HP product but I really need help on this one. Help!

LaserJet 1022: Shared LaserJet 1022 on Windows 10 not seen by laptop on homegroup
Hi HP community!
I have a LaserJet 1022 connected via USB to my desktop Windows 10 and it works great.
I created a homegroup - ensuring share printer - my son's laptop, and however the laptop does not detect the LaserJet 1022. File sharing works very well in both directions, between the computer laptop + office.
He used to work a few months ago, but has stopped working (we have done an email-the-file-needing-to-be-printed workaround).
Any ideas? Thank you very much for your help!

HP laserjet 1022 does not wait for the user to turn the pages when printing double-sided
My Hp laserjet 1022 printer working properly for years.
So far, when he executed more paper he tried a couple of times to get more paper and then stops with a message on the PC it is out of paper.
Very annoyingly, this has changed recently, now when it is out of paper, he tries a couple of times to get more paper and watch the message on the PC, saying that it is paper and then again, try a couple of times to get more paper and again shows the same message on the PC and him back... This continues to go on and on.
It's especially annoying when trying to print double-sided. Before he used to stop and ask you to turn the pages to print the other side. Now the previous behavior overrides the break to turn the pages and keeps it will try to get more paper. As now, it does not wait for the user to turn the pages, in general it spoils the impression out by getting another paper that is not what I wanted, he drives me crazy! It's really hard to print anything double face now.
All solutions?
Operating system is Windows 7, I just downloaded and installed the latest driver for this printer "2013-01-09, Version: 20120918" and I get the same behavior. In the properties of the printer that I put some State Messages to Off and at least I don't get the full windows message screen poping up every time the printer is trying again to get more paper. I have not found all the other parameters that may affect this behavior.
Help!
Hello
I solved the problem! I found the original CD for the printer. I uninstall the current driver and then install CD and now when the printer is out of paper trying to get paper a couple of times and then stops, as it used to be.
Thanks for your help.

My HP LaserJet 1022 does not work with my new computer with Windows 7. Can you help me?
I just bought a HP p6803w CPU which runs on Windows 7. When I try to connect to my HP LaserJet 1022 it won't work. Apparently, I need a compatible driver downloaded. When I tried to download the drivers on the HP site, it seems that one of the two was not installed. Help! I am an online student and desperately need my printer to work.
On my win7 64 bit system, I tested the drivers posted on the hp.com site and they load and print a page of test as well as Word and Excel.
The link is here: LJ 1022 driver
Steps to load:
1. download the driver
2. click on run
3. click on the "I agree" box and then the next button.
4. Connect USB cable when connecting via USB port screen displays. You should get the pop up in the lower right screen that says: "install the software device driver".
5. what pop-up disappears, drivers have been loaded, cancel on all other screens and the pop - up asking if you know you want to cancel.
6. go in the devices folder and printers
7 find the HP LaserJet 1022 printer (must have a green check mark on it)
8. the driver has been loaded successfully.
Make sure that all previous attempts have been removed from the device and printer folders AND you have restarted your computer.
