LaserJet 1102w: force print the second page, Laserjet 1102w

Hello

New laptop.  I can print fine from the front.  When I try to print double-sided printer, as normal stop, after that the first page is complete, but used 'popup' support to continue does not appear.  OK, I'm working on this one.  But is it possible that I can press something on the printer to say "go ahead, print the second page."?

Thank you!

Evan

Hello @evanmjones,

It is a great place to get help! I read your post and see that you do not get the option "Continue" to print the second when the double-sided page. I want to help you solve this problem.

You can continue the second page by opening and closing the printer cover. (this model does not have a resume button)

Make sure that manual duplex printing option is selected from the printer driver:

  1. Click on the Windows icon (), and then click devices and printers.

  2. Right click on the HP product and then click on printerProperties.

  3. Click the device settings tab.

  4. The manual Duplex allows to "Enabled" and click OK to save the change. (click on the + to expand the list)

Ensure that the bidirectional Support is enabled.

Go to start, devices and printers, right click on the printer, the printer properties, click the Ports tab, put a check mark next to allow bidirectional support.

You may have to restart the computer.

Try to print again.

If you're still having problems, try printing from another application to see if you have the same results, it could be a setting in the application of double-sided printing.

You need to maybe uninstall and reinstall the printer if the problem persists.

You can click on the "accept as a Solution" If the problem is resolved and the 'Thumbs Up' for my effort. Please hold me. Good luck!

I created a form with two page Acrobat with Adobe InDesign.  Everything seems to be in agreement with the form, except that the second page does not print.  The first page prints fine, but the second page closes like a blank page without content in the form or the data entered by the user.

Thanks to you all.  My Department has been able to help me.  Because the form was created in InDesign, I've exported as an interactive PDF and could not change the printing options.  Something in the configuration of InDesign required Postscript drivers and all our internal printers contain PCL drivers.  They added the PS drivers and we are now able to print the second page.

  • I have a photosmart hp7510 this prints the second page upside down - mac 10.7.5 duplex.

I have an iMac running 10.7.5. I just purchased and installed a Photosmart 7510 - because the guy at the Apple store said double-sided printing. It's - second side upside down. I downloaded the latest drivers. At least, I think that I did, on the HP site. In the pain of the preference system, I chose "duplex unit". When I print a document in portrait of multi pages I want two-sided, in the printer dialog box I select two gutter on the side face and long. The result is that the second page is upside down. As if I chose binding short side. If I change my binding on the short side, I still get the same results. The second page is upside down. I searched all over the web a solution. I've seen all sorts of 'solutions '. Including the ole standby to print it even turn the pages and printing all odd. I bought this printer, so I didn't have to do. I downloaded a program that everything converted to PDF format and was supposed to solve the problem. Nope.  I can't be the only one with this problem, I can. I never thought that I was unique.

That's all. Confusing since I tried the features "airprint", that's what I chose. Removal of the Photosmart designated airprint and adding Photosmart solved the problem. Thank you.

  • LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425 / 1 side by side 2 copy missed an inch from the top, on the second page

When I try unilateral duplex since the automatic top loader, the second page missed about an inch of the original content from the top. (The first page also missed a bit, it is not a huge deal.) I think it happened because the feeding speed is slower that it is supposed to be. Y at - it all the parameters that I can check to fix?

I have two printers LaserJet MFP M425 400 Pro and they do the same. Thus, it is not a user/computer or a printer problem.

    Thank you!

Alignment of the image doesn't do anything for the problem. However, I was able to fix by:

-Select Copy settings Chaninging to pick up of exclusively from tray 2 instead of auto

-Save the settings as a new default value

I guess, the printer is paused a moment fast if the status bar selection is automatic.

  • How to customize the pagination so that the first page (which is actually a cover sheet) is ignored and the second page is numbered on page 1?

I'm working on the creation of a document that will be printed and bound as a book with comb-binding.

The cover of the book is the first page of my PDF document. Because this first page is the cover, I don't want that it counted as a page for purposes of pagination. Basically, I want to configure so that paging starts with '1', but it starts from the second page of my PDF document.

I'm using Acrobat 8 Pro. I've been fiddling with the menu of the header/footer page, but so far without success. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Well, after having thought about it some, more I realized that there is a simple way around this!

1 remove the cover page of my document

    2. Add a page numbering

3 Add again the front page and do not update the footer

I was driving myself crazy trying to find a way to do it!

  • When I open a new tab, the back button does not work on the second page, I discover - never the second page, regardless of the site.

When I opened a new tab - or when I first open a browser - as soon as I go to a second page, I can't go back to the first. Thus, for example, I opened a new tab. I go to a news site. I click on a title. I can not then go back to the first page of the new site. If I go back to the first page manually (by typing the url, or by opening a bookmark) and then click on the same heading, I'll be able to go back.

The inability to return only ever happens on the second page opens in a new tab or window. At any time, I can go back as normal - but the first page I was on that tab / in this window is erased from history.

This isn't something that's happened only with FF4, either. I first noticed a couple of weeks, but I upgraded shortly after, assuming it was a bug that would set the new browser. But it's always like that. He still refuses to back the second page of the first.

This problem may be caused by an extension (McAfee SiteAdvisor) that is not working properly.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

    • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

How can I keep my HP1510 all-in-one to print the test pages as much? My printer is connected to my laptop, and it seems that whenever I disconnect, want the printer print a test page when I reboot. I don't know where the option is to disable this option.

Pages are likely alignment pages.  When a new cartrdige is installed the printer will print an alignment page which should be placed on the scanner glass and press the button of scan to complete the alignment process.  If the alignment is not complete it will repeat when the printer is powered suite or maybe at the end of print jobs.

The alignment page will stop printing when the alignment process is complete.  See the page here for more information.

  • my hp photosmart d110 is stuck trying to print the alignment page

I use mostly my HP Photosmart D110 as a copier.  Yesterday, after changing the ink cartridges, it went to the screen that says it prints the alignment page.  It does not print.  I have it put off, sometimes by the button, sometimes by pulling on the power cord, but it turns on and says he has to print an alignment page.  He's stuck in this loop now, and I can't use it al all.  Help!

    Hi guidoguido,.

    Follow the steps below.

    1. remove the cartridges from the printer
    2. If the printer is on, disconnect the power from the back of the unit.
    3. wait for 1 to 2 minutes and make sure that the power is plugged directly into the wall before connecting the printer in.
    4. If the printer does not by itself, press the power button, and then wait for the printer to you ask to install the cartridges.
    5. try to re-run the alignment on the printer

  • HP Photosmart C6380 does not print the entire page

My HP Photosmart C6380 will not print whole pages.  Some lines close to the end of the page are not printed.  From time to time, it prints the whole page.

    Hi mercierm,

    Welcome to the HP forums!

I see that you are working with a Photosmart C6380 and sometimes it seems not to print the whole page and other times he does it. I'd love to help you find a solution to this problem

To start, you are able to print an extended self-assessment report and it came out completely, or if you make a copy of a complete page, never there issues? This will contribute essentially to determine if it is the hardware or software, but since it seems to be sporadic we are not able to limit too much more. You can also try the steps of cleaning in this document "on paper" Error Message and the printer is not Pick Up or paper feed .

Let me know how it goes for you!

1 - How to print a test page?

2 - How to change the default printer?

Yes, essentially the same as in Win 7.   Select the properties of the printer to print the test page.  That's where.

  • New Windows 7 pro machine always prints the first page in a direction, but all other pages are printed in a different orientation

We bought a new PC for one of our employees that is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. We have several printers throughout our office area. There are three printers that this person will print to the two Ricoh printstations and a Brother Laser printer. Any printer that employee uses printers still print the first page, a focus on the next page and all other pages in the other direction. The first page is always printed in the opposite direction of whatever orientation has been selected.

If it has a four page document and select landscape as the orientation, the first page prints in portrait orientation while the other three pages will be printed in landscape. She can go back and print the document again and all four pages will be printed in the right direction. This happens no matter which printer she uses, as well as any program (Word 2010, Excel, Adobe, web pages, etc...). Any suggestions?

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their

HP - DeskJet 1100 c - there is no Windows 7 drivers so check with HP

  • hp4315 is in 22 minutes to print the test page. resolution of the problems of detection without problem.

hp4315 is in 22 minutes to print the test page.  resolution of the problems of detection without problem.  Using Windows 7 64 bit

This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges. I'm not sure that the Officejet 4315 will print with a single cartridge installed, but try the following: remove the black print cartridge and print a test page.  The printer prints at a normal speed?  Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced.  If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed.  If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.
