  I have a strange problem that I hope someone can help me with. A bit of history...  We have a network printer LaserJet 4050tn on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Print Server. All our workstations are Windows 7 x 64. The printer uses the universal driver PCL 5 Version 6.1.

  The problem is that when someone prints to this printer and they want multiple copies, two jobs get sent to the printer. By example, if I want two copies of a Word document 2013 a pages, the double exits printer. In other words, I find myself with four pages divided into two print jobs. If I want only a copy, the printer prints only one page, as it should. This only seems to happen with documents other than Office as PDF files.

  We have a good number of these printers and it's the only one who acts with (that we know). Would that be a problem driver or something else altogether? Thanks in advance for the help.

  The issue seems to be with the 6.1 PCL5 driver. We have restored the printer on the PCL 5.9 driver and it works fine.

  I can't all of a sudden a HP LaserJet 4050TN to print from my iMac.

  Background:

  This printer & iMac has worked together last week.  Then, before you leave my office at home for a week, my wife has just pulled the cord the 4050TN HP LaserJet of the wall, instead of properly shut down the printer via the power switch.

  (Now I'm suspicious that this improper shutdown may have caused my problem somehow).

  I'm back to work now and I connected and power everything. But, alas, I can't print from iMac on Laserjet.

  1.) my iMac is connected to my Time Capsule via an ethernet cable and another ethernet cable goes to the printer.

  (2.) all the connections look OK. for example, the ethernet lights appear at each site to connect to the printer and Time Capsule.

  (3.) the printer CAN print that it works really well with my wife Dell that is connected to the printer via a serial cable.

  4.) when I Ping the printer from the network utility, get 100% packet loss. Then iMac apparently do not even "sees" the ptinter.

  Someone at - it solution or maybe me troubleshooting direct site?

  FIXED!

  The IP address of the printer had changed. I printed a new Configuration Page from the printer, the new address IP entered into my iMac and I have connected and you can now print.

  Hi, just inherited an old 4050 TN printer which I connected directly to my router using an RJ45 ethernet cable.

  My PC is connected via ethernet also cable to my router.  I can not get my PC or my network to recognize the printer.

  I tried to download the HP Universal HP.com and printing software that I hope, are the right drivers, but so far nothing that I allows me to connect the printer.

  I tried to add the printer to my homegroup, but Windows 10 always tells me that I can't create a homegroup on my PC, I don't know why it didn't, but I recently had to re - install windows 10 and my working group worked well previously.

  If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct drivers and installation software (do not have the original disk I'm afraid), that would be fantastic.

  My usual procedure would be to go through the printer menus and set IP DHCP configuration method.

  Then I would have to power cycle the printer with it plugged into the router and him give 2 minutes after getting a ready state and print configuration pages.

  These reference numbers are not in the original service manual, so my best guess would be that you are rebuilds used units in these particular kits or parts of HP of a certain type of merger

  Looks like they are all basically the same tho can check with the provider you can get your money back or refund if defective. My good friend google shows that they are for your printer.

  You have a HP software in your Applications folder?  If so, uninstall the software using the "scrubber":

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Press on and press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall, it IS the Option of the scrubber, no button is labeled "washer".
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Restart your Mac

  Now reset the printing system:

  -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax

  HP LaserJet P4015dn works properly only when I need a duplex print it of oly manually, how do I change this automatic duplex printing option. My platform is Windows 7.

  Unfortunately, there is no complete drivers for this model, so you can be out of luck for printing double-sided for auto work (I assume you have the installed optional duplex unit).
  Duplexing automatic has already worked, and if so, what operating system did you use at that time here?

• HP LaserJet P1606dn of duplex professionals second page prints upside down

  Sided printing worked fine when I arrived at the printer.  Now second page prints upside down.  I tried to install the driver XPS that worked once, but not now.  I have at least 8 copies of XPS Laserjet P1606dn of professional on my computer.  None of these troubleshooting options on any of these working copies.  I tried to reinstall the software of origin, but in vain.  Now the only copy printer I have that works, one side only, is hp p1606dn copy 3.

  Success, finally.  The application of service worked for me, after several tries.  I was able to remove all instances of the printer and re install.  The professional p1606 HP Laserjet still printed upside down, but after having installed the XPS (a previous forum suggestion suggestion) version it worked.

I get a successful installation message, then a marker of error on the printer icon. I tried on my desktop or laptops, which are both new and not had any luck. This same printer works very well with my old laptop, but this facility was made by a professional at the time of purchase. Using windows 7 on both. I'm not on any network. Everything is self-contained and connecting with a USB cable.
