LaserJet 5200tn tray 3 paper jam

I have a Laserjet 5200tn who gets a tray 3 paper jam, each time, prints fine from Tray 1 and 2. Page feeds on tray and stops with the leading edge just below the exit rollers. I replaced rollers pick up in tray 3 and checked for obstructions the paper path, no effect. Any help would be appreciated, I'm stuck.

Hi DeweyE,

I watch a video on a similar printer and photos on the model 4730

There are three trays on this unit.

We decided to remove the offending set and that is the problem solved

It said users, since they have many other printers to use, that works of this unit, but with two trays.

As it is a color model and now it works, they were happy.

We have the tray offending in our office and we will watch more closely if something seems suspicious, but for now, the device works

  • LaserJet Pro 400 (M401dn) paper jams of all trays

Our Organization has just bought a M401dn brand new, and I've been setting up out of the box. After you have configured the IP, I went to print a report. The jams from tray 2 with the message "paper jam in cartridge area. Open door and clear jam'.» I've therefore allowed and did it again. All to nothing does not; It keeps blocking. I tried to print from Tray 1 and it's the same thing; the paper is folded in almost a concertina-style and not powered through.

I put the correct paper (letter) in the printer sizes, updated its firmware, checked to see if there was that whatever it is hung in the transport of paper (not there), and I'm out of ideas. The weight of the paper I use is 20 lb (75 g/m2), which should not cause problems with transport.

We bought three M401n before, and they were easy to set up. So far, I am very far from impressed by the M401dn. Any suggestions / ideas would be gratefully received.

My first question is how recently where the unit was purchased, and you have contacted the helpline? On most hardware problems, it is best to contact phone support directly so that they can offer better, more immediate help, and they have the power to replace the unit in some cases, if necessary.

Aside from that, you were sure to check the internal parts of the machine for anything whether on-site or any debris

  • LaserJet CP1525: Laserjet CP1525 generates errors 'paper jam' on almost everything I print and there are no jams

Hello everyone, I have a Laserjet CP1525 who I am troubleshooting for a colleague, and no matter what we do whenever we try to print, we get "paper jam in tray 2" "clear jam and then press {OK}."

I checked this printer up and down and everything autour and there is no jams, there is not a coward or a sheet of paper, the platters, and linings are very clean, I opened all the doors on the printer, but we still have this isse. Toners are all fine, black, it becomes weak, but it is quite the impression that I was able to print a single test page.  I don't know what else to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

How old is this printer.  How it was used.  On this engine, I saw a lot where the roller is worn and it won't pick up the paper.  The roll is kind of a pain to change, but on what I laid out with this issue, once I have change the roll everything works fine.  Remove the tray paper and printing tilt up and with a flashlight he will shine on the roll.  Do not touch the roller.  There should be steps on the roll that you can see.  Most of the time there are only steps on the outside or the inside only and the rest of the roll is smooth.  If this is the case, you will need to change the roll.

  • HP Laserjet 2600n's frequent paper jams

Sorry, this is my second post on this topic. I get paper jams in the main feeder of my HP Laserjet 2600n. It will not pick up sheets of paper so never really jams - it just stays in the tray of the printer. I make sure to put just the right amount of paper in, but it will not always pick up the leaves. How can I get the paper tray to work properly?

HP has a video that shows how to do this:

  • OfficeJet Pro 6230: Officejet Pro 6230 continous (not of paper) paper jam error

As soon as the printer powers on it the ink carrier Wizz backward real quick (as he struggles to move) and then gives me a paper jam error (the resume light flashes and error appears on my screen). He did the same thing when I try to print anything (including the status report page).

When I up the access panel upward (power on), the carrier of ink isn't even move to ink cartridges which can be changed. I try to move with force, but it does not move (if I use more strength, somethings will break). Ink is a bit new, so I don't know it still has ink in there.

    The steps I've tried:

plugged the power supply into the wall outlet

    roller cleaning

THERE IS NO PAPER or PAPER PIECES BETWEEN ROLLERS (I checked like 20 times)

    reset the printer

There is a large black gear coupled to a white average speed on the left side near the bottom of the printer. I manually drove the speed by pressing (rotation) of North (or forward or to the rear of the printer) for a few seconds and once I did that. the ink carrier was able to move as it's supposed to, and I could see the ink. but once the power is back on, the carrier of ink was in the locked position and fights again and gives me the paper jam error.

I don't have really any troubleshooting documents on the CV online on how to fix a jammed media of ink and clearing paper jams, so I'm out of options.

    It is plugged into USB

The main problem is the paper jam error.

I don't know if the stuck carrier of ink is the cause.

  • LaserJet P4515: LaserJet P4515 multiple paper jams

Jam LaserJet P4515 continued in multiple locations, fuser, under the path between two tray and toner cartridge and toner area. Maintenance Kit life of 67% left, rolls have been changed, toner has changed, the vacuum cleaner, wipe with the cloth to dust and used air canned.  What else could we do?

I searched on the OUTPUT of the fuser, PAPER END JAM and found a post indicating all food guide could be the problem.  After replacing the part (whole food guide) on Monday, there were not additional paper jams.   Thank you for your help.

  • LaserJet 1300 paper jam

    LaserJet 3100 C3946A USBF021323 Mfg October 13, 1999

    Use of the history/primary

A fed not location of several page for years. Only OK food for my purposes. Is not used for fax or printing from the computer. Use main scan and copy.

    Malfunction

To replace the empty toner cartridge. First scan and copy effort leads to a paper jam in the copy with part of page rest phase in the feeder (don't remember if used not simple or multi bin for food). Page fired back with normal resistance (no tear or missing corners). First 1/3 of page was released folded in the second 1/3. Toner deposited as expected the first 1/3 and 1 inch in 1/3 second. Toner condition dry dust, unheated. Deposited toner clear and distinct than original scan. Next effort of scanning and copying. Sheet inserted in the tray sheet to the statement "Bin is empty please add paper." This resulted in "printer paper Jam check paper" Path message when paper is inserted. Can't see any piece of paper inside. Restart by pressing the "Stop/Clear".  Also turned off by unplugging the power cord for several minutes reconnect. 'Jam' same message when paper is inserted. Reinserted previous (almost empty) cartridge with results of same message "insert a paper and jam." Also tried the two reboot methods thanks to this previous cartridge.

I would appreciate any advice that may fix this problem.

  • LaserJet M1212nf: HP LaserJet M1212nf will not print, claims paper jam

My LaserJet M1212nf do not print, and it has never printed. Whenever I have create a print job if printing from a PC, copy something via the scanner, or print a report in the menu, it goes through the following:

    1. Initializes the printer,
    2. During initialization, printer pulls in a piece of paper in the tray,
    3. Paper stops halfway in (seems to me like he already spent fuser, then probably would not print correctly in all cases), then the printer claims there is a paper jam.

Note, this printer has never properly printed a single page. The number of impressions is zero (0). I've never had a paper jam.

Note that regards the position of the paper as it is pulled into the printer, I use letter size paper, and the printer menu shows that it has set up to accept size stationery. I confirmed duplicate by checking through the web interface of the printer as well.

    Any help?

And CV: If I can't get this problem solved, I'll have no value outside of this all-in-one at all. It will have been a large lemon and probably will poison any possibility to buy HP products in the future, including those based on the experience of support I've had so far, which has been zero. I tried to get the official support of the guarantee, but despite me documented proof of purchase, my warranty has been backdated to a until I bought itand now I can not contact technical support via the Web site options. I put in another conflict guaranteed, but on the basis of the likely response time will not get an answer until after a guaranteed year is officially over.

  • Attention kept blinking and nothing happens, not the paper jam (HP LaserJet 1022)

    Hello

I have a HP LaserJet 1022 and when I turned it on, nothing else has happened except a flashing caution light. There was no noise and nothing happens.
I checked a few times for any signs of paper jam, but that's clearly not is why so I took the print cartridge and it has inspected.
The imaging drum (which is the green part of the cartridge here in this link
http://www.Google.com.my/imgres?UM=1&hl=en&SA=N&TBO=d&BIW=1366&BiH=631&TBM=isch&tbnid=ceXkLCzurUwVaM... If I'm not mistaken had to be clean and intact. My Imaging drum has words on it in black ink which is still wet that was obviously left by previous print jobs.
Also when it is connected to the computer without pop - ups nothing displayed on the computer screen.

So this could be the problem of why the printer does not work?

    Any help is very appreciated!

Here is a document that deals with the flashing light in your printer model. It will give a possible scenarios on how the lights on the printer are flashing, Advisor to the cause of the problem and then provide one solution to try to try to resolve the problem. I hope this helps.

  • M277dw MFP: MFP M277dw Constant paper jam tray

We had our M277dw MFP for less than a year and know almost constant paper jam tray.  Looks like there is a problem with a roller, and when he finally makes contact, she folds the paper a bit and jams. We are then asked to add paper, then we remove the stuck piece and then he said: 'cleaning up' for jams a little and again. We tried different papers and nothing seems to help. Y at - it a setting that we can do? Thank you!

Please try to clean the rollers in Tray 1 and 2. Also, just remove all the papers and set the paper on the tray guides.

  • On the Color LaserJet Pro CM 1410 Series HP printer paper jam

I can't find/see the paper jam on the color HP LaserJet Pro CM 1410 Series printer.  I checked the domains listed in the manual, but there is no sign of my envelope paper jam.  Y at - it info on how to do to remove the outside cover to try to find the jam?

The documentation provided by HP for a paper jam in the CM1410 series, I chose the CM1415fnw in this list of series as my example, can be found here.  HP does not have a document that has a complete failure of the product.

    I hope this helps.
