LaserJet M1536dnf print queue stuck

Does not print the LaserJet Pro M1536dnf-order 3 days ago - stuck in print queue of waiting.

Windows 7 (64-bit).

No error message - yellow triangle.

Printer will copy and run the config report that has the correct IP address.

Print and scan doctor - he simply deleted document but problem persists.

Have followed all the 10 suggestions in print and Scan Doctor (including uninstall and install with the driver 'later' but still no progress.

Sprig12,

Congratulations! ... and glad to hear that you are back on!

Don't forget to let me know if you need help most.

Also, if you would be so kind to mark it as an accepted solution so that others may be able to easily find this thread if they have the same problem that would be greatly appreciated.

I just got a new modem/router, it will reconfigure the settings. My old but BEAUTIFUL HP LaserJet 4000N does not respond well to the changes. (Just like old fogeys everywhere...) Not happy about the way the world is moving on!)

Now, if I had not updated my modem/router just 3 months ago, without problem, I might conclude that the tech had finally adopted my printer. But this EXACT procedure was successful only three months ago, so my suspicion is that I missed a step somewhere...

Specifically, my printer completely refuses the new IP address, he needs to connect with 'the world'.

It recognizes & remembers the new IP address on the general tab of the window of the printer location, but insists on the fact that the IP address of the printer to the previous address remains valid name of the queue. (Instead, the printer dialog box indicates that the document is printing - his 'status' - while stating at the same time, in the upper part of the printer dialog box, that 'the printer is unresponsive."

Unfortunately, the evidence supported the statement of "... does not."

What should I do to convince the area superior of the dialog part of the printer w / previous IP address and welcome the newcomer IP address instead?

    Thank you!

Remove and reinstall the driver with the correct IP address.

    Hello

    Try the following.

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

  • HP 8500 of print jobs stuck in the queue, diagnostic control OK

HP 8500 A909g connected by USB cable to the Windows 7 desktop. Everything was going well until Verizon gave me a new DSL modem/router after which all print jobs are stuck in the print queue. Printing/scanning doctor told me "printer not connected to the homegroup. Nothing I've tried fixed. Downloaded the recent HP patch for network HP printers in Win7. Complete with a mistake any but installed at the next computer startup and scanning and printing has worked very well. Since then, the print jobs again get hit in the print queue and scanner does not work. Has made clear the queue, stop/start the spooler and the computer restarted. Still no printing or scanning. Print/ASNA doctor says everything is OK. Upgrades of the pilot research suggests that I already have the best driver. Printer is checked OK in the control/material Panel, is checked by default, port is OK etc etc. Before uninstall/reinstall the printer with no guarantee that will solve this problem, can someone tell me what could be wrong and how to fix it? Please help as this is really frustrating. Thanks in advance.

  • The laser color HP LaserJet CP1025nw printer cannot print - points held in the queue

I am running Windows 7 64 bit and my laser color HP LaserJet CP1025nw printer fails to print jobs in the queue. I turned off the printer accidentally as he was preparing to print a document, and since then I am unable to get the printer to work. I used the HP print and Scan doctor and he said that he had detected and solved a problem with the queue in vain the printer print a test page. What other options do I have? Thank you.

Rrolley, looks like you have a problem with the print queue of the printer. To start, just to tell you (that you probably think) it is not good to switch off while he's getting a print request. To resolve this problem, I recommend that you turn off the printer and the computer completely and cut the power for about thirty seconds. Then power the two machines back on, and when they started well then try the print job.

Let me know how it goes and I'll get right back with you!
  • Everything I print gets stuck in the queue, but the document is printed

    ORIGINAL TITLE: Spooler

I installed a printer on a pc windows 7 64. Everything I print gets stuck in the queue, but the document is printed. The printer is on the network, I tried to restart the spooler and erased the record of the spooler, but perisisted of the question, given that the document gets stuck, no other agency will be able to print, remove the paper and print again to print but the file gets stuck again on the queue. I tried to change the IP address, but the same thing happened. Can someone help me?

    Start > run > type services.msc

    Press enter

    Scroll down to print spooler

    Select stop

    Let Windows stop the spooler

Control Panel > printers and Faxes folder

Right-click on the printer icon, then select open

Click file > cancel all Documents

    Enter Net Stop Spooler

    Press enter

Wait for the DOS window opens and is

    Open the command prompt window

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\PRINTERS

It will usually contain files like these:

    FP00008
    FP00008. SHD

There are two files for each remaining print job.  Just delete these and restart the computer.  Your queue should now be provisioned.

If you are printing over a network, and the queue is not clear after the above steps:

Go to the computer that has the shared printer connected and perform steps 1 & 2 above.

If this does not work, then go to the computer when he was sent to the printing of the task and perform the steps 1 & 2 on this computer.

  • Printing problems with XP and Lexmark-documents are just stuck in the print queue

Original title: printing problems with XP and Lexmark

Until yesterday, I was able to print OK using Windows XP and a Lexmark Printer series 3500-4500 with wireless capabilities.  Reported network test wireless (on printer) and report indicates that there are no reported problem, also did the diagnostic test and which shows no problem either.  I can't print and documents are just stuck in the print queue - please can someone help, it drives me crazy because it's probably a very simple solution.

I guess you do not have all of the error messages.

It is possible that comes to mind that your printer has received a new IP address of your router (this could easily happen if you have several computers and other devices that connect to your wireless network).

Find the IP address of the printer of his network diagnostic page.
Click Start > printers and faxes, right-click the printer and select Properties
Select the Ports tab, then click on the button "Configure Port" (be careful NOT to click anywhere in the list of ports)
Make sure that the IP address in 'Port settings' is identical to that shown on the diagnosis of your network printer page.

To avoid this problem in the future, you must configure the printer to have a static IP address.  See your printer User Guide for instructions.

Choose an appropriate subnet address (i.e., has the first 3 groups of numbers the same as the other addresses in your network) but who is not in the range of addresses assigned by the DHCP server on your router.  See the User Guide of your router for more details.

    1. net stop spooler

  • HP2710 print jobs stuck in the queue even if test page prints

I have a HP Photosmart 2710 all-in-one printer attached via the USB port of a laptop ASUS G73Jw running under Windows 7 64-bit. The printer worked fine with a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP 32-bit only. But now cling all the documents in the queue if thay are Word, pdf or Notepad. I tried everything I could find on the HP forums. I downloaded the last software update. I ran the diagnostics HPPDU utility. After that I ran this utility test page prints fine, but nothing else gets stuck in the queue. I obeyed different instructions to disconnect and reconnect the printer, do a reboot etc after running the diagnostic utility. I tried other 'solutions' various users have suggested, including disabling bidirectional printing, restarting the spooler service and directly without the print spooler. Nothing works.

Given that I can print a test page I doubt that it is a mechanical problem. I suspect some sort of driver incompatibility. Because I downloaded the driver more once in frustration I think there could be pieces of drivers still present, although I can't view them with the uninstall command or the Device Manager. In fact, I can't find any file with any HP device software. Maybe it's because the driver is downloaded directly from Windows 7 when you do a Plug-and-Play.

There are a large number of driver files under everything in the printer properties. But I don't know which driver files should be there.

I'm about to trash this printer unless someone has an idea what to do.

    Help!

It could cause a conflict if the printer is stuck which occupies the port because it could block all communication with anything that is not this printer.  It may be something wrong with the way that ASUS manages virtual USB drivers, but I have not heard anything.  You might try to give them a call if you're really curious, just to see if they know anything.
