LaserJet m225dn mfp pro: printer freezes up, power cord wrong or bad grounding?
Hello. We have an ongoing problem with this gel printer (backlight on). I can say that it's okay if it passes in the standby mode. If after the default, sleep, standby fails, it is always locked and requires a reboot.
It comes with the power supply cord is too short, and relocation is very difficult. I have been using two (seem to be very good) of the longer computer power cords. One is 10' and the other is 12'.
I tested the ground taken with a multimeter and it revient.2 v, which is not 0, but I think is pretty close. There are other things on the same circuit.
Problem is I can not test the normal short cord and easily keep the printer connected to the USB cord and a fax machine. Would be a 10 or 12' power cord (no UPS online) will be enough to lock up this printer? Thank you.
I found the solution myself. For a longer length, 14-gauge is necessary. I have this and it seems to fix the problem. He could have a blockage, but I'm not sure. Been working normally for more than a week with this 15' cord

I have this issue sorted by myself earlier today. Here's what I did. I have reset the printer by cutting the power supply and leave it unplugged for a few minutes. I've deleted all the software my laptop prnter installled. As opposed to the connection via USB, I connected through the ethernet on the printer port to one of the four ethernet ports on my router. Then I powered and immediately noticed a light on the router indicated connection through one of the ethernet ports. My wife came running downstairs to tell me that she could see the printer listed on his iPhone. After a few minutes, I ran a report of connectivity, and it showed connection and TCP/IP connection details. I then installed the software. I am happy to say that he works all famous and we are happy campers.

I checked the page drivers and it lists all the Windows 2000 drivers. Since you can now print the PDF from Adobe documents, most likely it is a problem with the settings for Word or account on the computer.
Try the following steps to see if it will be useful.
Go to start, Control Panel, user accounts, change user account control settings.
Then drag the slider to the bottom never notify, and then restart your computer.
What version of Word are you using?

HP Color LaserJet M177fw MFP Pro - support PostScript?

I am looking to buy a new printer/scanner/copier(/fax is a nice to have, but not mandatory), and I am deciding between the following models:
HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw
HP Color LaserJet M177fw MFP Pro
PostScript support is important to me, and I know that the 175 has it. However, I'm not sure I know the 177, even after digging through several web pages and documents. Here's what I found:
-The page of the main form for the 177 says that he accepts "Cffp. I'm not familiar with this variant PCL, so I don't know how it compares to PCL5 or PCL6, etc.. I have been unable to find more information about "Cffp.
-The 'Software' section of Page 2 of the PDF Datasheet for the 177 mentions the driver "HP PostScript". This is the only place where I saw no potential indication that the 177 supports PostScript. This article also mentions a driver "PCLmS". I couldn't find more information about "PCLmS".
-The user 's Guide the 177 refers only to PostScript in an article that refers to ePrint. However, it does not imply that the 177 itself supports PostScript.
-Page product specification (in the Support section of the HP site) for the 177 has a "Print Specifications" section which lists only "PCL3 GUI" next to "languages of device.
I'm guessing that the 177 is not compatible PostScript, but someone has the more definitive information? Also, is there a description of the Cffp / PCLmS somewhere?

HP Color Laserjet M177FW MFP PRO cannot connect to web services
I bought a HP Color Laserjet M177FW MFP PRO today and took me to the top. It can print and scan over wireless network. However, it cannot successfully connect to web services. I put the DNS numbers with google DNS addresses. I changed his IP address with manually. The IP address is unique. Normally it is not activate/remove webservices. But when I restart it, it can do for a few minutes. It may take an e-mail address, but it does not print any information sheet. When I try to print a sheet it says "Connection problem" in the first minutes, and later, he said "Connecting" and he expects, there is no error message. What am I supposed to do? Please help me.
First of all thanks for your help. I solved my problem. After that I sent this message that I've updated my firmware printers and that does not solve the problem. I called HP customer service and they help me. We have solved the problem. My router was the reason for my problem. When I reset to factory settings, the problem disappeared. Thanks anyway. I want to share my solution. Maybe it helps others.

M277 LaserJet MFP Pro: Printer 10 Windows just stopped working
My printer worked for at least a month after the upgrade to Windows 10, and then it stopped working.
Initially, I didn't find any game by default, and the ability to set it wouldn't work. I tried to run the software install, V14309, but the installer just turn and quit, finally tells me to restart. I did, the default value of the printer was there, I could change the default, but it wouldn't print and finally gave me a protection fault errors, telling me that the printer was not installed on this computer and restart my computer.

An update:
After several reboots, the software uninstalled the software installation and after a reboot, I then reinstalled it. He printed a copy of test, but when I checked on the printer to set preferences, it wrong agin similarly and told me not to have any software installed!
A final update, I think:
When I reinstalled the software I notice 2 printers: the original and a (1 copy) and the installation had set the default version (copy 1). I tried to use the original and is the one who has failed and exploded with the error 0x1f622f2b.
I then tried (copy 1) and guess what: what WORKED ON!
Why is it so I have no idea.
I spent a very unproductive hour, trying to get the help of telephone support HP in India.

LaserJet m1217nfw mfp - Dungeon print wireless failing / falling on Mac OS 10.7.5
I installed my LaserJet m1217nfw mfp at least 4 times during the month using my Mac running on OS 10.7.5. The first time was with the CD supplied with the printer, and the last was 3 times with the latest version of the software downloaded from HP.
Each time, wireless printing is set up and works without a problem (using these official instructions from HP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48mLZoRjJm0). But a few days later, when I try to print the same Mac Wireless, it does not find the printer on the network. And nothing on the network or router has changed.
It is quite frustrating. I doubt for the 5th time will solve the problem once and for all.

I understand that you keep losing wireless connection.
I have included a document for printer is not maintaining the wireless connection.
To configure the static method IP go to step 6: your HP product of the assign a static IP address.
If the printer deposits the wireless again follow step 4: perform a power reset on the HP product and a wireless router and then restart the computer.

HP LaserJet M4345 MFP: Network printer problem: cannot print, but can ping

I have a big problem. We have a network HP LaserJet M4345 MFP printer. It is connected to a switch and the switch is connected to a Modem of Telmex. It has a static IP address. 5 computers to connect to this printer, but I'm going to use one as a sample.
The problem is that I can't print anything.
- I can install the printer in all computers
- I ping the printer
- I can access the printer configuration using a browser
- I can even scan a document
But I can still print the test page. We have a static IP and it does not repeat the IP address, the host name is unique and date everything is fine. I tried to ping to test for the default gateway and it a ping with a correct response time. So:
- The configuration of the printer can be accesed via browser
- The computer can ping the printer
- I can scan a document to the PC
- The printer installs very quickly in all machines

What could be the problem? I tried to print in all the machines without success.

It is possible that the network adapter has a problem but since it's your only work around would be to buy a direct jet EIO card and put in the EIO slot in the back near where the network cable is plugged. They are fairly cheap on ebay and you want to buy a 610N, 615N or 620N one of these models will work. You must assign an ip address that is different from the one assigned to the integrated card. I think that there is a way to disable the built in network card, but I have to carry out additional research on that. If you have an old hp printer that you do not use with a network card eio, even if older 600N it will work in this printer.

Screen VAIO Pro 13 gradation when power cord plugged
I just had a problem to occur on my new Pro 13 in Vaio, Windows 8. The model number for my Vaio is SVP132A1CL.
The problem I have is that when I plug the power cord into the machine, the screen fades until I can barely see anything. When I pull the plug out, and the computer returns to the battery power, the display lights up to a normal level.

2. find the power plan that you are underway and click "change plan settings".

LaserJet printers have a built-in web server.
You didn't actually tell me the model of the printer have spoken, but most LaserJet printers have a network of Port where you can plug in Ethernet cable.
Printers have an IP address that identifies the network.
You put the IP address in the location bar of a browser, and click on enter it will have four numbers with dots between them.
Pointing the browser to the IP address of the printer and then you should see the built-in web server.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers. Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.
A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access. These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results. A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight. On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!
