• OfficeJet Pro 8615: Fax a lot of page at a time

  I used my all-in-one for faxing several times beautifully, but when I need to send a response to an offer of our agency of 33 pages, I guess it was too much to do at once, then divided into two separate Fax. The first batch was 16 pages, but stuck on page 3... error message is no longer received a link or something similar.   I understand that you are having problems then to fax multiple pages on your HP Officejet Pro 8615 e-all-in-one printer to your real estate agent. I would like to work with you today with the resolution of this problem.

  According to the specs on your machine management document, found here, your machine is able to contain up to 50 sheets at the same time in the bin. Therefore, if you have important faxes which lie in the ability of 50 pages, you should have no problem loading all pages at the same time and faxes.

  Regarding the question of the communication that you guys met, Fax is old analog technology. Today, the telephone companies offer digital lines. Digital lines are OK to use, but it is much more static noise and interference on these lines which can cause faxes sending and receipt of the questions. If you are unable to fax to several numbers, except one, chances are he may have had an additional inference between your two fax machines that caused the fax failure. The only time where a fax should go to a mailbox is also, if the real estate agent is to use eFax service. eFax is email fax and is something that the Realtor would have subscribed and paid for.   So to sum up, here's what I did, although not necessarily in this order:

  1 reset the printing system, which erased all of the devices in the list Printers & Scanners

  2 install the software utility package HP = HP-LaserJet-SW-OSX - Mavericks_v12.34.34.dmg

  3 install the package for the HP printer software update 3.0

  4 restarted my mac

  5 entered in Printers & Scanners and when the dialog box pops up, added the Fax with the driver for Fax selected in the drop-down list to use as directed by the dialog box illustrated by TeK_AcE

  6 tested the fax print in overview and selecting 'Fax PDF' in the menu drop-down PDF. I sent a fax to the fax number of the HP test at 1-888-hpfaxme or 1-888-473-2963

  7. Add the printer again, the driver Laserjet and not Airprint

  I have a new HP Laser Jet MFP M127fn Pro: how to send a fax using speed dial, I entered already numbers in the address book.

  I'm embarrassed to say that I spent several hours trying to get the speed dial to work on a M127fn.  It turns out that there really no speed dial.  That's the conclusion of at least a HP tech that actually used the machine.  Another tech was able to describe a way to fax a phonebook entry, but it is quite too complicated to be called a speed dial.

  [1] press the button settings (key).

  [2] press the right arrow to access the phone book.

  [3] press OK button.

  [4] use the right or left buttons to reach the desired phone book entry.

  [5] press the OK button to reveal the label for the entry, or "empty" if it is not set.

  [6] press the OK button if the element is set to display the fax or dialing options.

  [7] press FAX to initiate a fax to this phone book entry.

  My users find it much easier to have their phone numbers pasted on the machine where they can connect looking them to instead scroll through menus, for the right option.

  It seems that there is some sort of disconnect between hardware, firmware, and technical writers on this machine, because this ancient feature has been neglected, and the user guide is left to sputter on the issue.

  I installed my all-in-one to a deskjet 4500 to the Laserjet M1212nf.

  On my old printer/fax, I could set up a speed dial to send the same fax to several fax numbers in the phone book with speed control knob just a dial.

  For the life of me I can't figure out how to set up a speed dial to a fax from the Group on this machine! It makes me NUTS. Is there a separator, you can use to enter multiple numbers or?

  I would be really disappointed if a feature I had on my cheap HP $69 ink jet is not available on this printer laserjet much nicer and more expensive.

  I use a HP Officejet 8600 aio n911a (CM749a) connected to a network via ethernet.

  My fax machine is currently set to 'Fax to Network Folder', but I would like to change this to 'Fax to Email. I went to the Fax tab and clicked on the HP digital Fax Wizard to try to change the 'Fax to Network Folder' to 'Fax to Email' but I cannot find anywhere how to do this.

  It only allows me to disable the HP digital fax or fax to network folder.

  The HP Officejet Pro 8600 (N911a) support only the digital repository (Scan or E-mail) to a network folder.

  Only the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus / Premium models provide the specific functionality.

  I bought a new LaserJet M476nw, but my fax test fails each time through the configuration laserjet and HP utility software.  The Laserjet Printer is connected on a network and using Vista.

  I have a dedicated fax line that is connected into the socket on the icon with the socket at the rear of the laserjet printer.   I can hear the tone on the fax line when it is connected to a phone.   I called the fax line and it's normally rings and no response.   I also tried to connect a phone to the phone laserjet icon, while the fax line is connected to the laserJet printer, I hear the tone of the phone.

  I don't know what I have to do to get the fax test to pass, so I can start fax on this machine.  Any suggestion is appreciated.
