  This printer successfully under Vista. I did a clean install of Windows 7.

  The name of the 32-bit driver is different from the name of 64-bit driver.  You create a Local Port which will basically copy the formatted print data from the part of xpmachine.

While trying to install the printer on a remote computer, I downloaded the driver package Windows 7 64 bit for the printer on the computer remote and got the error: «Windows cannot find a driver...» "(I don't understand why the pilot was not as it should be in the installation package.)   This issue is between 64 bit and 32 bit, and there is an easy solution. Once you get back to the way it was before you downloaded the 64-bit package that you go to the machine that you want to load the printer and the printer as a local printer using load say lpt1 port. Auto not detect or print a test page and just finished the installation. Now on the windows 7 computer to join devices and printers and right click on the printer icon and scroll the properties first and left click. Go to the ports, and then add the port and in the box that comes up to put in the name of printserver and the share name of the printer by using the syntax \\printserver\sharename how save and apply and this computer will now be able to print to the printer.

  I was on the site of HP support section and see my printer listed, but it shows no clickable download - site just seems to take me in circles. I can't even find the old driver, and then try to update something more recent would be compatible with my system.

• Windows 8.1 LaserJet 1000 connected by USB - driver support?

  The printer is recognized through the control panel of configuration/Printers devices menu but said that no driver is available.

  The website says this printer is using a driver "in the BONE" and provides a process through the Add Printer Wizard which is supposed to show the driver.  I have goen through this process a couple of times, including the flow of Windows Update and see a long list of printers, but not the LaserJet 1000.

  Do I find this driver in the list - or another driver does support the 1000 printer?

  Maybe someone can help with this confusing problem. Just bought the T400 w/Win 7 64-bit on the Lenovo Web site. That's great, except for one thing.

  I have a ThinkPad T22 of Win2k on the network with a port parallel printer HP laserjet 6L and a port USB HP DeskJet 970cxi. When I go to add a printer to the T400, Win7 search on the network and detects printers. For the 6 L have downloaded a driver and it works fine. For the 970cxi, he tries to find a driver MS website but can not find a driver.

  When I connect the970cxi printer directly to a USB port on the T400 Win7 it finds a driver and it works fine. But not on the network? Even after he found a pilot when it was connected locally?

  The network is a Linux Debian machine that can print on both printers. I turned on printer sharing on this topic. The T400 can find printers in the Linux box and print 6L and 970cxi.

  I loaded VirtualBox on the T400 and then install Ubuntu Linux. The Ubunu Linux can find printers and print at the same time.

  I googled this and found others with the same problem. I tried the solution and it worked!

  6. choose the driver in the list of drivers. If no driver available, click the Windows Update button, wait the process finishes and then search for the driver again.

  Well this Chipset Trident CyberALADDiN-T (called Napa2T) was built in three Types of Toshiba laptops.

  The 6000 Satellite TE2000 and Satellite 6050. (Driverversion all with Version 5.01.2527.0128)

  So the only chance for you is to look threw the internet and look if someone else has used this graphics chip and offer are a newer driver than Toshiba.
