Can't get a code persistent independent loop of the chassis.
Hello.
I need a code of 'security' to perform systematically at regular intervals (for example, run once every minute). I'm developing a program that must have the USB pen inserted to avoid multiple computers using the same USB. I know how to check for the USB, but the problem lies in making it to check every 60 seconds. I already tried this:
on exitframe

It gets only released in this framework (which makes sense), and I need to be able to be triggered from almost anywhere, as long as the film is running.
Is there a way to make code run regardless of what image the film is on? I can add an invisible sprite on stage with one "on exitframe me ' behavior, but that looks to a workaround sorta dumb. Is there a better?
I use DirectorMX 2004 in Windows 7.

Use a timeout object. The Director help file is particularly terrible regarding the syntax for wait times, so I recommend that you read this article that describes their use very well:

Basically, the startMovie (or when you want to start the USB control), you must add the code to create the time-out. This would call a script #movie every second (or whatever interval you want).

Adobe Edge (with video) + Sizmek does not load on the first attempt in Firefox
We tried to get a series of Adobe Edge HTML5 with video to work with Sizmek and Firefox and have had no luck. We did a series of works autour and nothing seems to work.
But if we do a sequence of basic Adobe Edge it works fine, but as soon as that video is attached it crashes and does not do anything (on initial load).
We found this banner of Adobe Edge with video works with all browsers except Firefox unique.
So far, we tried the following solution.
What has not worked
- Move the code of compositionReady edge of Sizmek at the head of the document.
- Mix video load order in the file edge.js
- Reduces the size of the video thinking it could be a weight of file problem.
What worked
- Deleted the video in the Edge file and have basic animation and it works very well.
- Removed the Sizmek EB codes and it is loaded with videos, but is of no use to us because it does not respect the framework of ad Sizmek platform.
- Re-build the banner using only the model Sizmek with greensock and works perfectly.
Have contacted us the support of Sizmek and crossed a few developers and they said that the issue is in the ship's library and the compositionReady event is not dispatched to the first loading of Firefox.
They have also done a few tests and think it might be a big problem with Adobe Edge and asked that contact us Adobe to find a solution.
Can someone please point us in the right direction or other solutions of workaround to get the edge work "reliable . ” with Sizmek and Firefox?
We know that we can build with just all the code, but our digital designers are not coders and need a solution to animation of timeline as opposed to a text editor. (With "Edge animate the logical progression of Adobe Flash for them")

.. .on investigated further. including an ogv version seem to fix this problem for some reason any (FF should play mp4s without problem).
The VGO must be first in the order of the source. I think that this must be done manually in code.

Why my code does not perform outside the service?
I have unfinished code, I'm getting. There is a listener and a function. I noticed when I put the loop outside the service (it would be less than the last line) it is not running. Why does not run the code as I type outside the service? I need to know for future reference

as you can see it's okay where the function is written. That the function runs only after the load event is over. If the layout in the sample 2 and 3 line will result as null because at that time the loading process has just begun...

changes made to the code do not appear in the file swf, even trace instructions not.
I just picked up a clients flex project and I can't get the app to reflect even a simple statement trace.
Before that I took over, the project was built last successfully with the environment/sdk Flash Builder Beta 2. I have the latest version of Flash Builder 4.
To import the project into FB4, I get a ton of errors. Most of them, mainly because of changes made to the beta2 sdk for free.
Some of the things that I fixed:
-mx to library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx library://ns.adobe.com/flex/halo namespace
-player video count: many names of the State for the video player component had been changed, more correctly States had been added. There are also other related component video and property names that needed to be updated.
But I have corrected this and the application is finally able to compile (but with a few caveats the type of variable in double especially)
The only thing is now that any change I make to the project is not reflected in the build (debug or release). I have changed the existing traces, added additional traces. Nothing is displayed. I even removed the applicationComplete property in the main.mxml. Still, everything worked as nothing has changed.
Also I can't debug the application. Whenever I try to debug... Flash builder said... "Swf application contains no debug information required...". "
Anyone has any idea how to even begin to tackle this? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to project-> 'clean' the project?
Also, instead of wasting more time with the import, I try and create a new project in FB 4 and copy all the code sorce and assets in the new project. Flex 2 has been a long time ago.

UPDATED AND NOW ASK FOR CODE ACCESS WHICH WAS NOT ALLOWED IN THE FIRST PLACE
I updated this morning and after that completion says to connect to itunes and enter my password. I disabled my access code months due to my son wanting to be able to use it freely without having to enter (he knew however the password before that as well). so now I'm stuck with the recovery of a backup one year option or erase all my data. I'm still confused as to how the system would invite me to enter a code that has not been activated in the first place... I only got 2 different codes within 4 or 5 years I've had it and neither one works.

Unless you actually had an active password, this screen after the installation of the update should be only a reminder or a push to create a password at this time for reasons of security as shown on the screen. If you have never had a password, you should be able to select the option button at the bottom of the screen, where it will allow you to ignore the creation of an access code. I don't remember exactly what the screens looked like or says, but it may be another screen and prompt you again (as a "are you sure") to create a password but there will be an option to "Skip for Now". I hope this helps!

Other results: preliminary report does not properly during the first run in a loop
I have an unusual problem with NI TestStand 4.1. I have a loop For and it contains, I have a call from sequence configured as a test of numerical limit. This test is configured to report additional results. All other results are preconditioned test cases. Here's the unusual part: during the first iteration of the loop, the test passes yet additional results for the parameters of all inputs are reported (output parameters are not presented at the time, but more on this later). Spend all additional this test iterations in the loop For and additional results are not reported.
Regarding output parameters... If a test fails I'm expecting (input and output parameters) results to report. However when I encounter a failure only the additional results that are output parameters are displayed on the test report. Input parameters are not reported.
If anyone else has experienced this? My expectation was that all additional results would be declared in case of failure. In addition, in the absence of a failure I expect not to see additional results. Thanks in advance!
The short answer is that the condition of additional results for input is evaluated before it's called the subsequence, so that it uses the value of the previous iteration Step.Result.Numeric (or by default on the first).

Greg First of all, you should stay with the date format. Instead of converting it to a string, you could TRUNCATE until the first day of the Iso-Wekk.
And to allow the use of the index that you just have to put a certain range on your queries.

If col_date can contain values greater than System. Or if you use another value date to compare as sysdate. Next, you need to compare with a range. Just like that

To account for this, we must ensure that we use the correct year. There are several possibilities how do. In this case, I choose to use the normal TRUNK for the first day of the normal year (1.1.2011) then add a week and truncate again.

DW CS4 'go to the code' does not go to the css code
When you are in the css Panel and right-click on a particular style, by clicking 'Go to the code' used to put me to the exact location of this rule in the relevant css file. This is no longer. It seems to bring me to the relevant html in the html source code, but code that is useless. Someone at - it ideas? I use this feature TONS and can't live without it.

I just tested CS4 preferences changed to 'Edit using CSS dialog box'. Go to the Code still works without problem.
Now, I noticed that at the top, there is a new "toolbar" with all of the files that are associated with this document and css files are among them. I did not like it, cause I want the CSS OPEN file when I edit it, so I know not to save and download the right to file in just 2 clicks. I noticed that the css files no longer appear in the "toolbar" - I could have attempted to change these settings.
The related files toolbar is controlled by the General category of the preferences panel. The fourth element of the top is 'enable related files '. Even with this unchecked, go to the Code works.
The only other edit I've done recently is to change toolbar real to exclude some buttons I don't a need (cut/paste/copy/etc...) so that the buttons I have they use all appear on a single line. I edited the xml file and saved and it seems to work fine - if it wasn't for this 'go to the code"no longer works.
Could any of my changes "broken" this feature? How to cancel the best?
It is possible that your changes might have broken some features in Dreamweaver. How to cancel them is to remove your personal Configuration file and let Dreamweaver generates a new with factory settings.

Yes, it's a difference between Dreamweaver CS3 and CS4. Go to the Code does not work in CS4 if your style sheet is attached using an inclusion. It must be directly related to the page or be linked through the @import command by a style sheet linked directly to the page. If you feel this is a limitation of your workflow, Please submit a request for improvements to Adobe to support style sheets linked by include files.

I don't know anything about the error message. However, I can help you is certainly not gone. When you access using Dreamweaver CS4, the help files are launched in a browser, which should connect directly to the online help system. Help has moved online because it can be updated more frequently if problems are discovered. It also has a comment system, where I provide many of the answers or refer to Adobe if necessary. Even if you are offline, access to help is expected to launch a local version of the original files.
